It's large inside with lots of seating and TVs, and there is a smell of cigarette smoke when you walk in. You do get used to it, but if the smoking diners aren't your jam, there's plenty of outdoor patio seating. I should also note that no one was wearing a mask, which seems common in Indiana, so the outdoor seating is there if you're freaked about covid. The waitress was also tending the bar and was FANTASTIC. She was nice, quick with our drinks, and checked in on us. The prices were lower than most.. a double bloody was under $7! And one of the best i've ever had. We both had the hangover burger, and the meat was fresh and perfectly cooked ( I did catch a glimpse of the kitchen - the cooks looked to be flame broiling their burgers.. yummm) the lettuce and tomato were crisp and juicy, and the fries were the perfect fluffy on the inside- crunchy on the outside texture. They were piping hot and the batter on them was insanely good. If you're traveling across the state line and looking for a quick bite to eat that won't break the bank, check this place out. We will definitely be back when we're in town again.

But if you are looking to sit down and have a meal don't bother. The menu is finger food such as fries, pretzel rolls, and other bar food. The only big meal they offer is a frozen pizza which costs $16.00. So if you are looking for a beer and a meal I would highly recommend going somewhere else. I originally came here because the menu online showed a variety of food which they don't offer any of!

You can't find Stella on tap and the floor is concrete. Beers on tap are around three dollars, there is an decent tap selection, the bartender calls you "honey," you can still smoke cigarettes inside (I don't smoke but enjoy the old-fashioned ambiance), and there is no cover for some awesome bands who play classic rock. What is there to complain about? I don't know if they have food, but the bartender was outstanding and polite. Bathrooms were impeccable, and fellow patrons were warm, inviting, and non-creepy. The band here was fantastic, and by the end of the night half of us were dancing where the now-pushed-away-tables once stood. This was my second time here and I intend to come back (next time I visit my parents). We really had a fantastic time. This place is good, safe fun. Not a single gripe.

I ordered the Restaurant Crawl special for $7 which was the Lake Perch basket with cole slaw & tartar sauce. I also ordered the sweet potato fries for $7. Both entrees were excellent. The Lake Perch was just perfect. It's fried and not soaked in butter how some restaurant prepare it. So it's easy to handle and dip into the tartar sauce, which was on the sweet side. The cole slaw would have been better if it was in a separate bag or container instead of being with the fish as it was warm. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly, too. Very tasty and I at every last one! It did not need any condiment to make them taste better. I would go back - but not sure about eating indoors - it's definitely a bar area and it appears to allow smoking inside, unsure of that though. The bar has two sides and there are plenty of large/long tables spread out and you can dine as a single, couple or larger group. But there is a sign on the door that says 21 and over only.
