This place is lovely! Our waiter was very welcoming and the vibes inside are very homey and great for a breakfast spot. The food is great. I got the Santorini Omelette and it was filled with veggies and feta. The hashbrowns were crispy and the pancakes were fluffy. My friend got the country fried steak skillet which came with perfectly cooked over-easy eggs and flavorful gravy. The portion sizes are huge so be prepared for leftovers. I also got the Ice Cherries and Berries coffee drink, which was refreshing and the black coffee was actually pretty good. My wife and I have been meaning to visit since they opened in Chesterton earlier this year. Finally had a chance to stop in for lunch and really enjoyed it. They've done a great job with the interior. Really nice atmosphere and decor. A major step up from previous iteration of this restaurant location. The food was really good and portions are HUGE! Come hungry and plan to take home leftovers. I enjoyed the Santorini Omelette and my wife had one of the skillets. Don't remember which one! A few tips: they double the eggs listed on the menu. The skillet was covered by 4 eggs and my omelette appeared to have been made with an entire carton. It was big! Also, pancakes are a free upgrade instead of toast. Worth it! Cute place!! Looks like they re-decorated/updated an old Applebee's. We came here for a late lunch with our kids. All of our food was good, but the breakfast items we ordered were exceptionally delicious. Definitely recommend trying a cheese blintz, it's like a crepe with a light and sweet creamy filling. I NEVER write reviews, but today I went there as it's always me and my boyfriends go to restaurant for breakfast in the area. Their carnitas special was ASSSSSS like not even holding a Mexican standard to it either. It was so fatty, tasted canned in every aspect (instant rice, canned beans, microwaveable meat, cheapest pico) and it tasted like absolute dookie. Said queso on the menu and was NOTTTT. Don't say queso if you're going to give chunked cold cheese by the teaspoon hoping it melts LMAOOO. Everything about it was just terrible. Eggs were soggy, on top of super soggy fatty meat that had the texture of straight jello. Couldn't even finish it, maybe had 5 bites and the bowl was still completely full. Didn't say anything bc it's not my servers fault, she was decently assertive for being a place like this. I've had better service and better food. Possibly going downhill to be so honest... I go there once a week probably more since their opening and my food/ service is better ONLY when it's busy in the restaurant unfortunately. Aside from that their main menu items usually are always the same quality but eggs have became more soggy each visit. There is one African American male who always has a smile on his face, provides great service, and he's been there for a decent amount of time. Along with an older woman who is always so amazing, knows how to upsell in a tasteful way that accommodates the flavors of your meal. These two servers should be recognized for their service, communication, and attentiveness they bring. I notice their presence every time. read more

Our server was incredible and quick, and so was the kitchen! The food is top notch as well. I got the Lemon Blueberry Pancakes which were the perfect amount of sweet and creamy, and the sausage, eggs, and hash browns were perfectly cooked. My boyfriend's food was also very yummy (I snuck a few bites) and he enjoyed himself thoroughly. I have say that we didn't expect the place to be so nice and welcoming. Service was so good and the food was phenomenal!! We had biscuits and gravy and a frittata that I enjoyed the next morning! My husband absolutely loved his biscuits and gravy . He said they were the best he ever had and that's saying a lot for him being raised on biscuits and gravy. Today (1-10-2026) was my first time at Cherries and Berries and I definitely recommend this place, the food was good and the portions are very large, I felts that I got my moneys worth, their omelettes are made with five eggs, so come hungry! The atmosphere was good, spacious seating area, it did not feel crowed even though it was very busy. I received good friendly service. You should definitely consider giving this place a try, I believe you will like it too. Can't seperate a check correctly, waited 30+ mins for them. They charged my card for 2 bills (even though they had separate card holders). Charged another bill for a diffrent bill. they started cleaning the bathrooms before we left and one of us slipped on the floor and thankfully didnt get hurt. (They had no wet floor sign either).
