This was our first time stopping here for breakfast after seeing so many cars in the lot every time we drive by on our way to Home Depot or anywhere else out that way. It was busy enough for a weekday morning at around 11am. We sat quickly and also received our drinks quickly. The waitress was efficient and pleasant. I had the Greek omelet and my husband the Belgian waffle and bacon. Our food was very good and just how we ordered it. I enjoyed the home fries as well. I took peeks at other tables and everything looked good. I think my only kind of negative would be the generic cola that my husband ordered, although we were told that it was not a name brand, not even Polar. I would love to walk into a breakfast/lunch place like that and find that they have great drinks like local Polar as well as great bread from a bakery. That is what throws a breakfast over the top for me...homemade bread. I still remember the one very small breakfast joint that made their own pies and English muffins. Go figure! Finally stopped in for a late lunch after driving by for a lot of years. All I can say is Im glad I finally stopped and had a very large portion of Everything in an Omelette. The french toast stuffed with big fresh blueberries and cream cheese was absolute perfection. Side order of Bacon was so big three of us struggled to finish it. Friendly and attentive service made for a very pleasant experience too. Will be back for sure. read more

This place is awesome a little hole in the wall feel but great service and food! Need a quick bite they've got you covered! My favorite part is watching them make the food right in front of you! The floors were very dirty, tables needed to be wiped down too, every time the door opened a cold breeze blew through the whole place, asked for beans with my eggs and got home fries, had to have the beans brought out afterwards. Tried the home fries anyways and they were cold hard and burnt. In fact everything of mine was overdone or burnt, even the toast and my omelette. My husband and daughters eggs were very watery and nothing tasted good. My 4 year old wouldn't even eat her bacon and that is saying something. Would never go back. Don't understand the good reviews at all. Service was good, that's the only positive here. Didn't even take a picture of the food to share that's how disappointing it all was. Seems like the place regulars go for their morning coffee to chat with the locals so that's probably the only appeal here. If you're looking for a good solid meal at a nice place go to Eller's in Leicester. They're well worth the drive and prices are the same for better everything. Noticed Chef Tim did not wear any gloves while preparing orders. He was also using the same utensils to cut orders that had meat and no meat. If you're vegetarian this might not be the best place to come as it doesn't seem like they're very concerned with keeping things separate and preventing cross contamination. Three of us went on Friday night for the fish n' chip. The clam chowder was excellent. Our meal arrived, the portions were large. Everything was hot, cooked perfectly and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Not only did our waitress Deloras check to make sure everything was fine, the other waitress stopped by our table to make sure we were all set. Prices are great. MA is such a turd state when it comes to good food and they have no clue on how to run diners. Very unaccommodating for food allergies. We could not order pancakes, french toast, eggs, bacon, etc. for my peanut allergic 3-year old because everything was cooked on the same griddle with other peanut-containing dishes. Our server, sympathetic to the issue, asked the chef on two separate occasions if he/she could simply cook a single pancake in an individual pan. The chef declined both times. They did not have cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, or any other viable alternatives. The only option was toast. read more

Food is good, huge portions. Diner lacks in service. Seems to be a quick turnaround on tables. However, my food was moved to the bottom of the wait as the table (who were seated after is) were served first. They clearly knew people working there so their order bumped above all others that were waiting and who were seated prior. I really wanted to like this place. I ordered three eggs. The waitress brought out two. She never came back until after we were done eating. My eggs were made into one egg with two yolks and the edges of the eggs were over crispy. The home fries were very bland. My wife had an omelet which she enjoyed but she said was also a little over cooked and the home fries were bland as well. It was very clean and it was a nice atmosphere.
