I briefly FaceTimed him so he could see her during the visit. The dentist abruptly said, "No FaceTime," in a curt manner. I completely understand if that is the office policy, but the delivery felt rude and there was no explanation given. The second situation happened during another visit when Dr. Z told me I could not be rude to his staff. I was very confused because I had no idea what he was referring to, and I told him that I hadn't been rude. He responded with something along the lines of, "Come on, I know you were." Shortly after, a staff member came into the room and explained that they had mistaken me for a different parent. Dr. Z did apologize, and I understand that mistakes happen, but the interaction added to the overall feeling that the environment was not very warm or welcoming. Because of these experiences, we have not returned.

Dr. Z is, without fail, so positive, encouraging, gentle and kind that my children (and me too!) are excited to go to the dentist each 6 months. Both of my younger kids had behaviors that impacted their teeth (ie. Thumb sucking) and he gave us advice, coached them through it, and even sent presents when they "met their goals". All around fabulous - every child should be so lucky to have such a great dentist!

They have a nice clean waiting room with seating and a little area with toys and books. We only had to wait a few minutes before we were taken back. They made my daughter feel comfortable and sang to her and talked to her while doing routine cleaning and checkup. The dental hygienist was so sweet and did such a great job with my daughter. The dentist came by a few minutes later and explained everything so well to me and answered any questions I had. She was also very kind to my daughter, even though my daughter was scared and cried. They gave my daughter a goodie bag before we left which she really enjoyed. Very happy with the experience and will be back again!

Quickly gained same trust with Dr Cudia. Always excellent. Everyone in the office is great. Immaculate office, professional service, honest opinions and very caring staff. You can always trust Dr Cudia and his staff. I no longer work in downtown, but it is always worth the drive from suburbs to downtown every time.
