Super cute keyboard store with lots of options for keyboards, keys, switches and additionally little trinkets from local artists. Staff is super nice and helpful with helping finding switches that are your preference.

Tiny Keyboard Shop hosted a keyboard-building workshop at the company where I work, and it was a massive success. They were a pleasure to work with in the weeks leading up to the event, taking care of ensuring our large team of 25 was able to select their desired layouts, cases, keyswitches, and keycaps. Tiny Keyboard Shop was even able to handle creating a custom keycap with my team's logo! They were very professional and organized during the event itself; with 3 representatives from Tiny Keyboard Shop in attendance, there was ample support for answering ad-hoc questions and working 1-on-1 with anyone who needed it. The boards (Neo60 and Neo65) were excellent quality, and the entire event was offered at a reasonable price fitting in my team's budget. My team says it was the best team activity they've participated in in a very long time, with the added bonus that the "swag" that resulted (these awesome keyboards) are used by my teammates everyday. I would definitely work with Tiny Keyboard Shop again and highly recommend trusting them with your own team's onsite/offsite team-building activity.

Incredibly nice staff, helped me a lot and gave me good switch suggestions. They have a lot of switch options and the switch tester they got is really nice and helped me find switches! The switches they have are amazing value and usually beat online prices! ($33 for HMX firecrackers) I have built a keyboard from them and got my HMX switches and loved a lot of it. My onlycomplaint is that they have an extensive keycap selection although they are quite expensive and may be overwhelming for someone trying to buy or build their first keyboard, I would wish for my budget oriented Keycaps for 60-70 dollars. But the staff seemed willing to help and if you wanted to be left alone they would let you.

Tiny Keyboard Shop has so much more than keyboards! Stickers, clothing, hats, bags, charms, pins, plush, and of course- keyboards! Staff is so friendly, pricing is reasonable, and there is plenty to look at.

Came on a weekend to visit the keycap sets as I'd heard that this place was a good source of high grade caps. When I came, it was quite busy but there were a good amount of helpful staff available. There are a lot of keyboards to try! Good novelty for sure pressing them all. I was more interested in caps and a staff member was able to point me to their ABS cap sets. Their prices are pretty mindblowing- similar to drop prices (I'm guessing the owner gets them cheaper) which is practically a steal. Walked out with a really nice GMMK set! Will for sure becoming back :)

Right at the public garage in downtown San Jose, so easy to find parking. The shop is super small, but I love how they have all the keyboards out there for you to test out. They also have post its so you know how the board was made and what was used. We were immediately acknowledged when we walked in, but they didn't bother you with questions and what not. They allowed us to look at the keyboards and test out what we wanted. They did answer my questions. I love this place. It was very hard to leave. It was also overwhelming because I wanted everything and also didn't know what I preferred. Definitely makes it hard to make a decision but very grateful for their options! Depending on what you're looking for, it can be pricey, but it also helps you decide what you like and what you don't like.

Cashier was super helpful and answered a lot of our keyboard questions! We got some really cute key caps and nice switches -- would recommend if you wanna test or see something in person.

Visited this place tonight to get a feel.for some switches. Associate was super helpful to tell me what keyboards to check out for which switches. Definitely come here if you're looking to get into the hobby!

The keycaps (minus the little one in the upper-left corner) were ones I already had, but the board and switches were from the shop.

I visited this shop, not sure what I would find or what I was looking for. I am a writer and have been using what I thought was the best option, but this store's talented and friendly folks set me on the better path. I told them what I was using, what I liked, and what I was looking for. They set me up with a brand-new keyboard and switches I didn't realize I wanted, all for a fantastic price, not to mention a lovely artist with adorable individual keycaps for extra personality. I am finally happy to find a dedicated store for my mechanical keyboard hobby. From now on, I will return to this excellent place for all my keyboard needs. Also, Pumpkin Switches are AWESOME!!!

Is there a way to contact shop to check stock? I couldn't find any phone numbers and I do not use Instagram

Hi! Sorry, no phone number. You can check out a loose inventory list here: https://tropical-barracuda-1d4.notion.site/Tiny-Keyboard-Shop-Inventory-183e6cd98e8b807bb4f2ccbec1091236… Read more

Can you host group event for custom building keyboards?

Yes, we can host group keyboard build events - you can send a DM through IG or fill out this form and we’ll be in touch! forms.gle/Gbm1k2bSksFawnhc7

Do they sell fully made keyboards, or are they all build-it-yourself? I've been watching a ton of Youtubes about the Lofrees, Keychrons, Wobkeys, etc, and it's pretty overwhelming. Hoping to try some of these in person, and feel the differences.

We sell both fully made keyboards (we call them prebuilts) as well as individual parts/kits of keyboards. We did have Wobkey Rainy75s but are low/OOS and waiting on our new shipment to arrive, estimating around a month for their arrival.… Read more

Does the Tiny Keyboard Shop purchase used keyboards, switches and keycaps?

    No, we currently do not!

Hi, I have a Keychron Q2 pro and the USB-C port is loose, would you guys be able to fix it?

Hi Brandon, a loose USB port is typically from wear on the solder joint of the port on the PCB. While we can't guarantee we can fix it, we would advise reaching out to Keychron directly to see if they have a RMA process to work on getting you a… Read more

    Do they take cash?
