I first thought it was just a small issue, so he stopped by my apartment to take a look. While he was there, it became clear that my motherboard needed to be replaced. I'm a student so my PC is super important to me, but I'm also pretty broke. Michael not only fixed my PC in less than a week, but he also found me a new motherboard at a discounted rate! My PC is now up and running perfectly. He even cleaned it up before giving it back, removing the dust and organizing my wiring, and he did it all for a super great price.

My technician Jesse over at The Cheap Squad spent many hours across 4 sessions to get it fixed. On top of all that, he even mentioned that if he wasn't able to get it fixed, they would refund me out of good faith. I'm happy to say that my computer's healthy now, and The Cheap Squad is easily one of the best vendors I have ever worked with. I cannot recommend them enough. I don't really dabble in building keyboards myself but as someone who works in accessibility, it's interesting to me (textured/braille keys, ergonomic and 1 handed keyboards, etc.). They're located in the back of a creator's hub in a shared space but they have their own worker there who can answer questions and they have building events and community days too from what I've gleaned over. Definitely check out their Instagram for more up to date information. They have clay key caps, they do commissions, and they have lots of different colors, textures, with or without the numbers and letters and symbols on them, different levels for beginners or more advanced keyboard people, mats, cases, and so much more, so if this is your hobby, this is the place to stop by. Value and price is fair for what they offer since there's pre-built, build your own, the variety that they have, and the fact that they can also DIY or do commissions after reaching out. Much better than, you know, getting a cheapo Hoyoslop keyboard from elsewhere...
