The first time I had an issue, they damaged my paint. They did take responsibility and retouched it, so I was willing to forgive it and continue giving them my business. Unfortunately, the inconsistency has continued. This last visit was especially frustrating. After the wash, I found my keys left sitting outside by the windshield/wipers instead of being handed back to me or placed somewhere secure. On top of that, the overall lack of attention to detail with the cleaning has happened more than once. Mistakes happen, and I was understanding the first time, but when it becomes a pattern, it's hard to keep overlooking it. Between the previous paint damage, inconsistent washes, and careless handling of my vehicle and keys, I've lost confidence in the service here. After giving them multiple chances, I won't be returning. UPDATE: It's now been 5 days since my experience, and nobody from Excellent Car Wash & Auto Detail has reached out to acknowledge what happened or offer any kind of apology. After having issues here more than once, including damage to my paint in the past and repeated inconsistency with the quality of the washes, the lack of follow-up is even more disappointing.

I asked the owner about the difference between Package 3 and Package 4--the $80 Ultimate Orbital Wax and the $90 Premium Carnauba Paste Wax. He walked me through both options and recommended what made the most sense based on the condition of my car. Before I could even choose, he offered to upgrade me one package at no charge since it was my first visit. That alone showed how much they value their customers and want them to return. The service took about 45 minutes, and they have a nice shaded waiting area where you can watch your car being detailed. I decided to walk over to Clancy's across the street, grab a cold one, and watch the France-England World Cup third-place match--which was an absolute banger with 10 goals--and returned about an hour later. When I got back, my car was parked off to the side looking like a beaut. I gave it a quick walk-around and was stoked to see it shining like a million bucks. There were no missed spots, the inside and outside were both done right, and it looked as clean as the day I drove it off the lot. One of the guys saw me checking it out, walked over, started it up, and pulled it around for me. The interior looked pristine, and the included air freshener was the cherry on top. Because of the great service, free upgrade, and care they showed my car, I handed the guy a $20 tip. That brought the full Premium Carnauba Paste Wax detail to $100 out the door--which anyone who has visited nearby car washes knows is a killer deal for a full wash and wax. I will 100% be back. Beach City Auto Detail is now where I'll take both of my vehicles, and I actually look forward to returning because I know I'll leave happy. I paid a dollar more to get my car washed, but despite the fact that it didn't include a wipe down from the machines, it did clean my tires really well. It didn't leave a lot of wet spots on the car, meaning that I didn't have to put a lot of effort in drying it myself. They gave me a hand wipe, and a refresher for the car. 17 bucks seems to be pretty good for what I got. I almost got the $22 one, but I think I'll save that for special occasions. Super Easy Car Wash Process!!…read more I got the $6 Super Wash, and I think it cleaned my car pretty well. There's a little traffic light at the end of the car wash telling you whether to stay in neutral or to drive. At the end of the car wash, you can park and have an employee wipe down your car. I always make sure to tip them. There's also vacuums as well. The employees are nice! Very little interactions as it's just paying, getting change back, being told where to drive and when to put your car in neutral, being asked if you want your car wiped down, and tipping the employee. It's nice that they give $1 off for Yelp Check-In and for LBCC students with valid I.D. Getting into the car wash and out of the car wash is fairly easy so I would come back!

I barely sat down and hadn't even gotten my laptop out to work yet. Came out and asked "that was fast. How much?" And he said $75. I was like "what? You guys did 10 minute of work" and he said "2 guys worked on it". Changed my card for 76 dollars. Came out to find the carpet was still dirty, it was still dusty in places, vents weren't cleaned all the way. I ended up coming home and detailing it myself. No wonder the place was completely empty.
