I came here because the other place I knew about for hand wash without appointment was closed. This car wash is definitely hand wash. Their wash bay has nothing touching the car, other than water, cleaning agents, and air. The hand wash part is done with wash mitts. The washing part was great. I would give them zero stars if I could. Deceptive and illegal pricing. Their posted "happy hour" sale was not honored. I asked the manager to adjust the price and he strongly refused. The man told me he couldn't adjust prices in the computer system. It's not really about the $3 it's more about the lack of integrity and transparency. I went in Sunday morning, there was only one customer there as they had just opened 30 minutes prior. I requested a wash that included a few "upgrades" air freshener, tire shine, & a few other things I did NOT get. I paid as soon as I walked in and waited as I was in no rush, kids were hungry so I left as soon as it was done, I noticed the inside was not vacuumed which was ok I could do that to my liking . However my windows are horrible and I noticed at night It's dangerous I can barely see and I was not going ri complain but it's dangerous. It's not ok. Worst car wash I've ever been to. They severely scratched the interior of my brand new RX350. Please see below for pictures/videos. As you can see, there were significant scratches on my car's touchscreen display and wooden compartment right underneath it. Mind you it took me 30 mins to drive here. I don't live in the area so by the time I drove back to show the manager he was unprofessional, giving me attitude and had the audacity to blame me for "opening and closing the compartment so much" and blamed "Lexus for selling me a defective model." The service I requested was a car wash for 2022 Chevy Silverado. The signage said the price was $25.99. There is also a sign that contains multiple up charges, so you don't know exactly what you're going to pay until you get to the register. When I got to the register I was told that there would be a $15 up charge because the truck is large. Although there wasn't a long line on a Saturday, which should've been an indication as to the quality of service, it took approximately 25 minutes for my truck to be pulled in to be washed. When I asked about the up charge at the register, the man who identified himself as the owner said that he had to raise the prices and fire the guy that was here previously for stealing and not charging the correct price. I found that to be very unprofessional. I did notice that they were understaffed, and although they are not very busy, it's taking more time than it should to wash and dry my vehicle. The car wash did not include air freshener for the car as most other car washes offer. Just beware that everything is à la carte and you definitely should ask the exact price before you continue to have them wash your car. The owner did come and speak with me regarding my review while I was still waiting for my vehicle. When I explained to him the situation and offered advice on providing the price to the customer while he's talking to them outside and before they get to the cash register, he became combative and unwilling to hear me out. The lady that dried the car was good and we did make sure that we tipped her and let her know we were appreciative of the work that she did. I won't be coming back. The tall skinny man that checks you in needs to be trained on customer services skills. He has no sense of what customer service means. Asked for the "super saver" wash ($89). Attendant told me it would be ten dollars more for my car... it's a small suv so seats are no bigger than a regular car. Sign does not note anywhere that larger vehicles are more than stated price on sign but I realize prices for everything have inflated so I said okay and paid $100 for the wash. Almost two hours later, They told me it was almost done so I checked the backseat and realized the floor hadn't even been vacuumed. I notified the attendant and she stated oh I don't think we do that with this wash and I said for 100? She said we can prob do it... in a rude tone. I went over to the sign and re-read that it states floor mat shampoo and seat shampoo. I walked back over and told her then went back to the waiting area. She asked for a male attendant to come over to her. They spoke and he then came over to me and said that was not part of the wash I purchased. I told him multiple times I just re read his sign and he asked me to walk over to the sign with him because he stated I was reading a different sign. I told him I wasn't, but obliged ... we walked over and I pointed to the super saver wash that I purchased and that he even requested 10 dollars more on top of the listed price.... He re read it and then apologized and stated I was correct. Mind you this was already two hours in and they just realized the floor mats needed to be done also.... The lady was very rude when notifying me it was finished. They left my seats all jacked up and forward. My items were thrown around in the back. My steering wheel wasn't even dusted off. I have 10 plus years customer experience with Cherry Hill Auto Wash. I started to experience a decline in service around 2019. Most recently end of 2021 and Feb 2022 the service has been extremely poor. They do not vacuum or wipe down the interior properly. I ended up finishing the job at home which defeats the purpose of having your vehicle professionally cleaned. I always order the Super Saver that is supposed to provide a thorough cleaning with both the interior and exterior. I pay an extra $10 which is the additional fee they charge for small SUVs. This month Feb 2022 there was no one available to do the Super Saver package as they are experiencing staffing shortages. I asked for the package that was closest to the Super Saver and emphasized to the young man checking me in that I wanted the vehicle well vacuumed and wiped down inside. I recently had my toddler grandson in my car and the interior needed a good cleaning. Once again they did not vacuum well and the console and seats were not wiped down as requested. Sorry to the poor older lady they assigned to work on my car.However with that said I've brought my car here numerous of times and it keeps getting worse! I paid for the $120 wash & detail that is supposed to be by hand and oh boy was it bad. The lady was trying but the manger could've checked for quality control at least ONCE! instead of detailing my interior they just wiped it down with some greasy solution that is sticky and wears horrible. Furthermore they caused a crack in my windshield AND LEFT dirty tag residue all over my car!!!! This needs to be refunded immediately and they need to check for quality control... I have been coming to this place for over a year now and I love their work. They treat you like family and they are all about their customers. I'm usually busy so I tend to do the "Super Saver" detail/wash once a month. The only thing I noticed about two weeks ago is that their prices increased. The Super Saver went from $69.99 to $84.99. That's a $15 increase. So I guess I'll have to re-evaluate the washing options. Don't get me wrong, I'll continue going to this place but just choose a different wash option. I've been coming to this carwash since it was built we had a account here with our company in the recent years we closed our account but I've been still coming and the services are getting worse recently I bought a brand new truck and put a lift and rims on it and took it there 3 times and this last time last Friday they etched my brand new rims and said it happens. I've been coming to this car wash for about a year. At first the service was great. My car was cleaned well and the prices were fair. I signed up for the monthly wash pass. The past 6 months it's gotten progressively worse. Every time I get my car washed they have to run it through once I walk over. Either it's not vacuumed, there's still dirt on the exterior, or the interior is still filthy. I'm by no means a perfectionist, but if I'm paying you to clean my car, there shouldn't be dirt smeared on the floor or seat when I pick it up. I complained once and was essentially scolded by the manager for complaining. He told me I didn't ask for my car to be vacuumed and wiped down. I didn't realize I needed to ask for that..when the sign says vacuum included I figured it's included. Apparently not. Today, the same thing happened. It was sent back to be fixed and still wasn't fixed. I ended up having to wipe down and vacuum my car myself. This establishment has gone completely down the drain. read more
