Before deciding to go to Performance Auto Spa, I did gather quotes and reviews from other area places that specialized in tinting and decided I would go with Performance. I have no regrets. I first emailed with Tim who was extremely quick to respond and then finally scheduled my appointment which took a little over a week to wait for. I was told it would take roughly 3 hours to do my car given that it's a little more complicated then most. I decided I would wait and just do work. The showroom is fairly large and very quiet. Not sure if it was because it was middle of the afternoon during the week or what, but only a few people stopped by to get quotes and I was able to work in peace. The car was actually done in under 2 hours and I was out the door. The tint job was immaculate and came with a lifetime warranty. Overall, if you have any car care related questions involving tint, paint protection, detailing, etc, don't hesitate to call them! My one and only negative is that it is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but I did hear them tell one potential customer that they would be willing to come get their car or drop it off for them which I would have taken advantage of if I knew about it in advance.

This is the 4th car…read moreI've taken here to have the tint installed, I will say they are pricey but WERE worth the cost. The initial 3 interactions were very professional and hassle free. Showed up, they walked me through what I wanted and how much it would cost, I left, there were done in 2-3 hours, I paid, that was it. Great experience. This last time was not. I dropped off my 2026 Acura Integra Type S (which had less than 800 miles on it) off, informed the guy I wasn't interested in paying so much like last time, ($640 for the step above basic tint) and was wondering if they could work with me on the price, they couldn't, oh well. And like the other times I drop my car off, they're done within 2-3 hours and I come to pick it up. The first thing I notice is the car was filthy, I dropped it off spotless, salt shot up the sides of the car like it was doing highway speeds. I go into pay, get my keys, come out to the car and start it up, Every light on the dash that could be on, was on. Not to mention my alcantara seats were dirty. So I drive off and immediately call them, they explain "this happens all the time just drive it." I drive it at all speeds for 30 mins and the lights still are on. I call them back again and explain, and tell them "this only happens when the battery is deep cycled". Long story short they let my cars battery die, and said they could reset the light, they had some guy from the shop drive my car (it's a 6 speed manual) trying to reset the light which didn't work. They explained it was completely normal for this to happen because they need the car on they just forgot to hook up a battery charger, so I had to take it to the dealer to have the battery "charged and reconditioned and have basic settings parameters set". The owner or whatever he was maintained complete deniability throughout this whole thing and stuck to the "this is completely normal it happens all the time" script.

Auto Additions consistently responded; which made them very easy to work with. The building is in an industrial area but very clean inside and out. I've been to tint shops that were "holes" but this was not. It gave a good impression of the e quality of service. Service was good and they got me in at my appointed time and done at a good time. My only gripe is that I wasn't aware of the price until afterwards. The job was flawless, nonetheless. First time I've ever had a tint job where I didn't have to go back. Wanted best tint for my windshield to cut down of heat and UV, similar to rest of car(best…read moreavailable). Side and rear are very noticeable reduction in heat transfer. Came to this shop as I thought it was AAP, and found out it was now under new ownership. I asked for the new clear tint for the windshield and the guy said he'd have to order it. He suggested I tint the windshield to match my doors and it would cut down the heat. I told him as long as they used the BEST tint available for heat and UV protection. He said he had that shade in stock, and I told him as long as it was the best product(ceramic tint). Waited a week and he called and said they could fit me in next day. Picked up car and noticed right away looking through windshield was not the same as rest of tinted windows. He said product takes a while to set up and dry completely. Noticed no change in clarity after a week, and was told may take longer. I knew then I'd been had. Took car to three different tint shops and was told same thing, very low quality tint product. Now it's starting to bubble. I have to have it removed and replaced with a quality product I should have gotten in the first place. It will be at a better shop of course. Sure wasted my money and time here.
