I called to make an appointment at 8:00 am and left a voicemail. I received a call back within the hour and scheduled one for the same day at noon. I arrived at 11:30 hoping they could begin working on my car early. Sure enough they greeted me and pulled my car around by 11:35. I was satisfied with the end result of the tint job. 4 door car, including back window for $220. Very professional staff, quality workmanship, and fair price. I would recommend their service to a friend. read more

Made an 8am appointment to get my windows tinted. Not only did they send a complimentary reminder text message the night before, but the tech even send another in the morning to let me know he was a few minutes behind. They immediately pulled my car in and got started. Despite the car taking longer than they anticipated, the original quoted price was honored. I waited on the immensely comfortable leather sofa and watched the news and an episode of maternity court and by then my car was finished at around an hour and a half. Their work looks flawless and I couldn't be happier. Comfortable waiting area, competitive pricing, clean and professional workspace, extremely talented and pleasant people. After sending several friends and family to them, I am happy to report they are consistent and doing great work. I heard they just opened a new shop in Powell, adding a new location on that end of town, which i'm sure they will have great success with if they follow the simple formula they already have. This review could've been five stars because they did a great job on my vehicle window tint in the past. They are very good at what they do and the quality is superb. Why it isn't a 5 star: I called their location recently to inquire about tinting and was told they only do commercial/residential window tinting. That's fine and everything, but the way the message was delivered is a different story I'm assuming it was the owner that responded. If I call a business and leave a detailed message (they didn't answer) I expect a call back, not a generic text message saying "We don't have that service anymore, try this place". Now, if I initiated contacting the business through text it would be different. From the time I hung up the phone it only took about 5 minutes or less to receive the text. It is EXTREMELY unprofessional, impersonal, and honestly would never go here again because of the lack of care to customers that aren't handing over a form of payment in person. I expect this sometimes from a large chain, but not a locally owned business. I've seen one other review that said the same thing about the text messaging. read more

Stopped in on Tuesday afternoon to make arrangements to drop my car off on Friday evening so the guys could get started first thing Saturday morning at 10 and pick up at noon. I dropped my car off at 4 on Friday as planned and get a text message 30 minutes after I leave asking if they can bump my start time back to 2:00 on Saturday rather than 10 and I could pick the car up at 3:30 or 4:00. I said NO because I needed the vehicle on Saturday and they said it was no problem. I arrived at 12:30 on Saturday to pick up the car and everything looked great. Tint was applied neatly with minimal air bubbles. The owner insisted the bubbles would disappear within a few days and so far they have. I think the quality of the product is good, and the application looks professional. However, the clean up was not good. I know the tint process is wet and messy but the techs left runny streaks all over my dark colored door panels on the inside. I didn't notice this until I got home otherwise I would have had them clean it. I took a picture and uploaded it to the gallery here. I've had 5 consecutive vehicles with tinted glass and have never had this problem with past businesses. I'm not complaining about the couple minutes it took to clean my door panels, it's just a matter of principle. read more

Made and appointment expecting to leave my vehicle there for majority of the afternoon to get front and rear windows done. They stated it would take about an hour to an hour and a half to complete, which it was finished within that time. Overall best window tint I've had on all my cars. If I'm still in Columbus with my next vehicle I'll be back to this place. read more

Went there and highly don't recommend at all to come here especially with so many other places around. I recommend MCB motor spa. I went here to get my car tinted after they said they would fit me in evening. My appt was at 5 but drop my car off at 4. He was still working on a car. I told him I scheduled an appt and he said he would try to make it work but wasnt sure. I don't know why he couldn't call to let me know this and waste my 30 min commute there and back. Since was up there decided just keep it there. I left with friend and came back at six. The one employee who was was there, was sitting outside on a picnic table. When he seen me approach he quickly got up and said he was bring in my car. I would have left right then and there but since have already invested the time decided to wait thinking would be compensate for being hour late for my appt. After the gentlemen was finish did very bad job of clean up, and didnt have time to ask him again. I asked is there anything he can do the employee said not without talking to the owner. The owner wasn't available and I just paid and left message for the owner. He called me back and told him the situation all he said was sorry for being a little late. 10-15 mins is little late not a hour! He just said sorry nothing I can do. I pointed out if I made reservation at dinner or anywhere else and was hour late they would compensate. He would not compensate for the job and made it seem like him just doing the job was good enough even if was hour later then schedule. He has does not care about his customers time not their reviews. Stay away go somewhere else! read more

We help reduce excessive glare, fading, and heat coming into your windows. Regular glass does not block UV 99.9% like window film can. Established in 2002.

The owner, Jim Mull, started tinting cars in the summers during college back in 1990 and started his own car, residential and commercial window film installation company in 2002. It remains a family owned and operated business.

Meet the Business Owner: Jim M.

Jim, the owner, started tinting cars in the summers, while he was off from college, for a local detail and tint shop back in the early 1990's. After being a RN for several years and wanting to start his own business, he educated himself on window tinting trends which led him to the decision to start a residential and commercial window tinting company here in Central Ohio. From day one he believed that the key to operating a successful business was to treat customers like friends & family and install only high quality products. This way of doing business continues to this day.

As someone who's extremely particular about their vehicle, I was determined to do my due diligence. After a days of scouring reviews, I narrowed down my options to a top five list. Tintify stood out to me for many reasons. 1. A flawless review record - not one single bad review. 2. Armando and his daughter Amaya are a family duo, and I love supporting small businesses with a personal touch. 3. Armando took the time to answer all my questions, and I had a lot. 4. Johnson window films are a reputable brand, and I was impressed by their brand quality after doing my research. 5. He doesn't remove door panels, which was a huge plus for me. I opted for the Johnson IR supreme window tint film, 45% around except for the front window, which was 70%. I wanted a super ceramic tint that would provide excellent heat retention without being too dark. And let me tell you, the front windshield tint was a game-changer - it's an absolute must-have for resisting heat. I will say that after driving all the way out to Marysville, my front window was a lot bigger than Armando anticipated. So he had to order a bigger roll, and I appreciated his honesty and willingness to make it right. He even came out to my house to finish the job - talk about dedication. After a couple of days, I rolled my windows down, and the cut lines looked like they were laser-cut by a machine. At first, the windows seemed a little darker than I expected, but after a couple of days, they lightened up beautifully. Armando had mentioned that the tint might be a little hazy at first, but it looked so clean and clear from day one. I'm blown away by his professionalism, attention to detail, and the pride he takes in his craft. If you're looking for someone to tint your windows, look no further than Armando and Amaya. They're the real deal, and I'm so grateful to have found them. I'm a lifetime customer now, and I couldn't be happier with the care and process of having my windows done. So I also like to point out that a window tinter is much much different than a window tint installer which just has a machine print out a sheet and slap it over your window. A window tinter, contours the window tint and will shape it over vehicles glass / window.

He truly wanted to make sure we were happy with all aspects of the job. He was willing to spend a lot of time with us to choose the right tinting for each type of window and even made sure the sunroof was exactly the darkness I was looking for. I was not able to use the sunroof before because of the heat. Now I have the cover slid back all the time and I'm not bothered by the heat or sunlight. I got my whole 2012 Jetta done with their IR 25% film and it looked amazing! Best of all, they give you a discount if you pay with cash so remember to bring some in and help them out! These guys are very professional! You get a text the day before reminding you of your appointment and upon completion of your car, you get a nice picture message. They actually left my car cleaner then I originally dropped it off in. Truly and amazing business. After about a month, long story short my car got broken into, I went back to get my front passengers side window tinted since I had to replace the glass. Originally the price for one window of their highest grade should've been $60+, I explained to them the situation and they gladly said they would do it for $40 flat. THAT'S AMAZING SERVICE! I brought my car in along with a salad, and before I could finish my salad, they had completed my window and it looked exactly like the rest of my car they did previously. I've used Lindsay Tint many times...for residential tinting and automotive. I started using them when they were located on my side of town. Now they are clear on the other side....but it's still worth the drive. Jim (owner) is friendly, courteous, and they have always done a great job....& I am a very picky person! If you read other reviews on here...you will clearly see any complaints are regarding silly stuff such as missed appointment reminders...or "those" people who are looking for a discount or a reason to complain from the start! I would highly recommend Lindsay Tint to anyone. This is a small family owned business who takes pride in what they do! Quality work...at a competitive price!!! Had third car done there recently. These guys are top notch! I wont take my cars anywhere else! Prices are very reasonably for the work they put out for sure. They tinted each of my cars under 2 hours every time....crazy fast! They texted me the day before to remind me of my appointment which was great because I almost forgot about it. I dropped it off and was greeted by the owner, discussed what I wanted and they took it back to the garage to be tinted. I grabbed lunch down the street and they called me to tell me it was done. Jim, the owner, was easy to work with and he explained the process of residential window tinting clearly and thoroughly. We had the windows on the south and west sides of our home tinted July 10, and we were amazed at how quickly we noticed our A/C didn't have to work as hard to cool our home. We used 27% less energy in July 2019 than we did a year ago (according to AEP). We love the added privacy and reduced glare, in addition to being able to git rid of our dust-collecting blinds. These guys are awesome! They got me in just a couple days after I called to make an appointment and it only took a couple hours to tint my SUV. We had all the windows in our house tinted by Linday Tint. Our house is 3,000 sq. feet, so it has a lot of windows. Jim and his staff only took about 5 hours to finish the job. Went in to get a winshield strip on my Mazda... the guys were extremely nice...The one working on it did a great job... Im thinking about getting my tint redone here. The only suggestion... Get a real credit card reader. Paying through your iphone seemed a little unsecure in my opinion. Other than that GREAT! read more
