Before deciding to go to Performance Auto Spa, I did gather quotes and reviews from other area places that specialized in tinting and decided I would go with Performance. I have no regrets. I first emailed with Tim who was extremely quick to respond and then finally scheduled my appointment which took a little over a week to wait for. I was told it would take roughly 3 hours to do my car given that it's a little more complicated then most. I decided I would wait and just do work. The showroom is fairly large and very quiet. Not sure if it was because it was middle of the afternoon during the week or what, but only a few people stopped by to get quotes and I was able to work in peace. The car was actually done in under 2 hours and I was out the door. The tint job was immaculate and came with a lifetime warranty. Overall, if you have any car care related questions involving tint, paint protection, detailing, etc, don't hesitate to call them! My one and only negative is that it is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but I did hear them tell one potential customer that they would be willing to come get their car or drop it off for them which I would have taken advantage of if I knew about it in advance.

This is the 4th car…read moreI've taken here to have the tint installed, I will say they are pricey but WERE worth the cost. The initial 3 interactions were very professional and hassle free. Showed up, they walked me through what I wanted and how much it would cost, I left, there were done in 2-3 hours, I paid, that was it. Great experience. This last time was not. I dropped off my 2026 Acura Integra Type S (which had less than 800 miles on it) off, informed the guy I wasn't interested in paying so much like last time, ($640 for the step above basic tint) and was wondering if they could work with me on the price, they couldn't, oh well. And like the other times I drop my car off, they're done within 2-3 hours and I come to pick it up. The first thing I notice is the car was filthy, I dropped it off spotless, salt shot up the sides of the car like it was doing highway speeds. I go into pay, get my keys, come out to the car and start it up, Every light on the dash that could be on, was on. Not to mention my alcantara seats were dirty. So I drive off and immediately call them, they explain "this happens all the time just drive it." I drive it at all speeds for 30 mins and the lights still are on. I call them back again and explain, and tell them "this only happens when the battery is deep cycled". Long story short they let my cars battery die, and said they could reset the light, they had some guy from the shop drive my car (it's a 6 speed manual) trying to reset the light which didn't work. They explained it was completely normal for this to happen because they need the car on they just forgot to hook up a battery charger, so I had to take it to the dealer to have the battery "charged and reconditioned and have basic settings parameters set". The owner or whatever he was maintained complete deniability throughout this whole thing and stuck to the "this is completely normal it happens all the time" script.

They answered all my questions about tint percentages, the type of film they use, and what the chrome delete process would look like on my car. When I arrived, they took the time to walk around the car with me and go over the details so everything came out exactly how I wanted. The window tint came out flawless. No bubbles, no dust, and the edges are super clean. It completely changed the look of the car and made it feel more private and cooler inside. I emailed a quote and the price was really good, but unfortunately they mistaken a Corolla Cross…read morefor a Corolla. Even though the email said Corolla Cross L, they still thought it was a Corolla. They quoted us accidentally $100 than what the price was but knocked off money as a sorry for the wrong quote which I loved. The down side was the mess after. It was clean when it was dropped off, but you'll see on my photo the whole side was stained with what they spray on the tint to make it stick. Zoom in to see how dirty they delivered it. It would have been amazing if they delivered it the way we dropped it off. The worst part was they left scrap tint on my hood and left it outside like that leaving a stain on the hood. I took it straight to the garage and said you left this on my hood. Overall, looks nice tinted, but leaving tint scrap on the car hood and not cleaning up what stain or mess you made is very disappointing. I actually do feel bad leaving a bad review. I didn't notice the mess and trash until after we paid and was about to leave. As I mentioned, I shouldn't have to clean the car that was already clean and pick up their trash left on my car that was sticking to it and staining it.
