The person who did my nails was very nice but the attention to detail was not there. The shape of my nails are crooked, the sides were filed poorly not to mention they use a drill to file the shape down, and they kept polishing with stuff in the polish (fuzz or lint or something). They took too much of my original length off even though I said I only wanted them trimmed a little bit. And so the almond shape I asked for looks ridiculous. I am VERY picky about nails. I need to have them short because I have a baby, and usually have them square-oval shaped so there are no accidents. I also like to have my cuticles short (most-preferably gone) and I was able to get them very closely done to what I am used to in Latin America, my cultural background. It looks cleaner and more professional when cuticles are gone BUT I understand that its not something common here so I accept the lowest they can remove them. This wonderful man was able to do them for me. My nails are thin and that is why i prefer gel, it strengthens my nails for daily activities with the baby. This place does NOT disappoint with your nail requests. Totally recommend it! They have MANY options for color pallets and personal taste. read more

I don't usually leave bad reviews but this was worthy. I came here because of the solid reviews but the place reeked of cigarette smoke as I watched one employee smoke 3 cigarettes while I was there. A number of other things went very wrong during a simple pedicure. I'd definitely avoid this place. read more

This was my first time at Tina's Nails. It will NOT be my last! I had gone in wanting just a pedicure, but ended up wit a manicure and face waxing too! Linda is a good salesman! She started me off in my pedicure and we talked about doing my hands too. She had Kim do my pedicure while she did my gel nails. Despite my nails being short, they looked good. Then she convinced me to have some face waxing. That was done nicely too. And Kim did an excellent pedicure with a lovely massage of my legs and feet. I'll be back definitely! read more

Went in with my mom on Monday, 3/21/22. Made an appointment for 2 pedicures at 2pm. The lady who did my pedicure was extremely rude, giving me dirty looks the whole time. She also cut up the bottom of my right foot with the pumice stone. The polish was goopy and nasty. Would not recommend this place at all. Just stay away. read more

The prices are great and all the staff go above and beyond to get each nail perfect and the way you want. I get my eyebrows waxed here too. Always looks amazing. Let me start off by saying that I've read the reviews and tips and all that and I agree with most of them MINUS the terrible ones. I've been coming here religiously since 2013/2014 and have never ONCE had a bad experience. The crowd is mixed, people of all ages, races, walks of life, whatever you want to call it. The employees here are very welcoming. I've had my nails and toes and brows done here since and will not go anywhere else. Victor is the one who does my nails and has now become a close personal friend. I love the environment and the PRICES are better than any other place I've tried. In Greenville, it's hard to find a place to do cool designs and have such talented nail technicians but here, everyone can do almost anything, especially Melissa. I would recommend having an appointment because since they are so popular, slots fill up quick. For pedicures, let's hope you get Ruby (everyone else is great too) but Ruby is my favorite. I walked in on a Friday night for a mani and pedi. They worked me right in. Linda finished my nails. She took car in her work and was not rough or rushed while working. She suggested a different color than the one I'd choose showing me the difference. She was right I preferred her choice. I then had a hot stone massage pedi. The massage chair was wonderful and the person that did my massage did an excellent job. It was close to closing but they didn't make me feel rushed. Everyone was friendly, talkative and welcoming. I ask for ombré nails and I seen the tech that did my nails having some doubts, I asked if she couldn't do them, that I would choose something different , she said she could, and honestly got a disaster job done and on top of that I was charge too much. I told the lady in charge that the nails were awful and she didn't care and still charge a lot I paid a total of $105 that's including a $35 gel pedicure to which you can still see some of my previous color peeking out. Great location, right off Wade Hampton Blvd next to Bi-Lo and Walmart. The nail technicians are friendly and welcome walk-ins, although some times are busier than others and require a wait. i walled into the salon - they dont acknowledge your presence. they only tend to their regulars... will make you wait and not tell you how long you might have to! everytime you call they say they dont do appointments but eveeytime i walk in people clearly have appointments. i would never go back and would recommend anyone. if your not a regular expect horrible service. read more
