Terrible, absolutely, terrible. I walked in with acrylics that needed a fill and repair. They don't do acrylics, I'm told, only dip, even though I see the powder. No problem, just please file them down, remove them, dip them, anything your "career" can do to help your customer. Initially I'm told by the wife, she can do NOTHING. I ask kindly can you just file them down and paint them?!? She did with the poorest of attitude. No wonder their place was empty. read more

This is a nice family owned nail salon. The couple is very friendly and they do everything themselves. It's just the two of them and they don't have any other techs. I was surprised that I didn't even have to wait. I noticed there were a few customers there and it was very obvious they were regulars. They all knew each others families and lives and I thought it was nice because they must be good with customers. I got a gel polish manicure and was pretty pleased with my color design as well as the whole experience. My nails looked good even though I was stressed a few days before and chewed my fingers down low. She did what she could with what she had! I will definitely be back if I'm ever in town. read more

We booked three gel pedicures and gel manicures. I was concerned because all of the reviews said there were only two technicians, a husband and wife. I didn't want to be there all day. They were more efficient than the other 5 salons we've tried in Greenville with a dozen techs!! We were so pleased...from the customer service to the finished product to the time management. I made an appointment for 2 pedicures for 6:15 PM. We were the only ones in the whole place and it was so peaceful. The man gave me such a great foot massage and wonderful French pedicure. They were nice enough, but my nails were not done well. I got a full set with gel and also a gel pedicure. For no reason at all, she cut my toenails way short. More than one of my acrylics is crooked and/or the wrong width for my natural nail size. She never even asked me what shape I wanted. Some were filed square, some flared, some no discernible shape at all. One hand's nails are way longer than the other. Worst of all, the acrylics are already starting to come up because they weren't glued down properly. She practically shoved me out the door to get to the next person that came in. Very unsatisfied. In my quest to find a GVL nail salon, I first started with the closest options to home. I really wish this place could have worked out. My mom and I came in for pedicures and I received a gel manicure. The tech who helped me was friendly, but asked about the scars on my hands (a sensitive topic) and told me that she doesn't believe COVID is serious. My mom is immune compromised, so this made me second guess our choice to be here. My manicure was sloppy; she left paint on my cuticles and burned them in a couple places with a file. Both my gel manicure and regular pedicure chipped in 3 days. read more

Tom gives the best pedicure and his leg/calf massages are wonderful and so relaxing! I'm always greeted as soon as I enter the salon and immediately seated in a chair even though there are other clients already seated. (This just gives me longer to soak my feet and relax in the vibrating chair.) Tom gives a more thorough pedicure than I've gotten at other places. He goes the extra mile. Solar nails is a nail salon owned by a husband and wife near Cherrydale Point. They are a two man team so waiting can be necessary, but they will often stay open late to accommodate more customers. They only offer a deluxe pedicure option, but it is amazing. I recently got a French tip manicure and pedicure, and it cost around $80. I wasn't super impressed with the French tip (air bubbles, each nail looked slightly different), but I would definitely go back for a solid color. The last service I got there lasted over 3 weeks with no chipping or fading. Overall recommend! read more

I went with a friend and first off the man there basically was yelling and arguing with us when we were just explaining what we wanted done, and then they were about to close and her nails weren't dry and they sent us on our way. Her nails are messed up in several spots and she is going to have to go somewhere else to have it fixed. The service was way under par and highly unprofessional. The lady was was kinda of snappy and didn't know how to do a coffin shaped nail. The guy was nice but was rough when picking the hang nails. He didn't put the top coat all over nail but the finished result was okay. If you get acrylics and put gel nail polish on it it's $55 (I've NEVER been anywhere where it's so expensive and it wasn't worth it.) and gel nails are $25 which is reasonable.
