We were walk-ins and were immediately greeted and sat in a pedicure chat within minutes of arrival. The service technicians were friendly and efficient. Unprofessional, late, had to go back in to get things fixed, did not make it right. Unfortunately I had a very poor experience with Uve Got Nails. I booked appointments for myself and five others to get their nails done together at 2pm. I get a call saying we're scheduled at 3pm. No worries I called back and it got fixed to the correct time confirming they were still able to take all of us at that time, and I got there at 2pm. I was not started with my services until at earliest 2:30 (maybe 2:45), and then mid-service my nail tech (who was the owner) cut my cuticle so it bled. I brushed it off at the time. I also got cat eye nails done (using magnets) but only some of the fingers got the effect because the UV machine needed manual turning on and off (not hand sensing) and he kept forgetting so it didn't set in time and I ended up turning it on myself half the time. I ended up getting a pedicure as well and was told my nails were dry so I got up and left and changed for dinner. They ended up completely smudging on a couple toes so I had to come back, wait, and get them fixed again making me late for dinner. This all left me very flustered and I was just trying to have a good night with my girls so I left, but ended up calling back after the weekend because after all that I was not at all happy with how much I paid for such a poor experience. I was told no refunds of any kind and I can come in and get my cat eyes touched up if I wanted to. I declined for obvious reasons as I do not want these people working on my nails again. I understand people make mistakes but that was a lot of them with very poor effort to make things right. read more

I've been to this nail salon several times, most recently on a Sunday since they are one of the few nail salons open in the area. My first few times were fine, but recently I've gone and my nails (both toes and fingernails) are grainy or smudge by the time I exit (using old polish?). Yesterday's experience was definitely the most uncomfortable and I won't be going back. My pedicure was completely fine, but when they sat me down for my dip manicure things got weird. The young girl doing my nails was doing a great job, very detailed and precise. The male owner walked over at one point and was giving her feedback while doing my nails, then proceeded to show her how to do the nails "correctly" because he said they were too thin. I should have spoken up and said they were fine because I hate when they are thick (now they look like chiclets). After he walked away, several other employees would walk up while my technician was reworking my nails and hover and stare at her work for extremely awkward amount of time. For the record, the technician was doing a GREAT job until the owner abruptly stepped in. In the pictures you can see the line across my nail where the owner thickened them. read more

I recently moved to the area, and my daughter wanted TAP on her nails. She scheduled an appointment with a technician, but when we arrived, they applied builder gel instead of TAP, which is a poly gel. The nail technician claimed there was a misunderstanding, despite my daughter pointing to a poster of TAP on the salon wall. For the second appointment, we saw the co-owner, who ended up doing the same thing. We had requested a soak-off and a new full set of TAP, but instead, she provided a fill-in with builder gel. Although the co-owner speaks perfect English, she gave us the same excuse--that they had misunderstood. They clearly did not misunderstand. This salon seems to offer whatever service they prefer, and they expect you to pay for it. read more

Recently opened nail salon in the same location as Harris Teeter in the corner of Wade Hampton Blvd and Stone Ave. Parking is available in the garage for retail customers. The salon is nice, wide open space and very clean. They have awesome large massage chairs that are conducive for relaxing. And you're also not sitting too close for comfort to the next person. Price is comparable to other salons in the area. They can pretty much do any kind of nail art you want. I got a manicure and pedicure. The nail tech did a great job with my ombre nails using dip powder. I did the milk and honey pedicure which starts at $47+ depending on what kind of polish you get. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. I will definitely come back and recommend this place. read more

I got a pedicure and the woman was very nice and very detailed oriented in the spa part of the pedicure but her paint job was awful. Very streaky, messy, and still wet after 2 hours. I called and they were great about allowing me to come back in to have them repainted. Imagine my surprise when they only offered to let the same girl paint them. I was very disappointed but with a crowded salon I didn't want to make a scene. They knew I was a new customer and imo should have offered for me to come back so the owner could redo. I am sitting with the back of my foot in a bowl of epsom salt, because of the terrible pedicure I received on September 14th (3 weeks after I got my pedicure). I have an infection in my left heel that is not going away because the nail technician scrubbed my foot so hard that I was bleeding on the back of my foot with a blister that they caused -also, the inside of my big toenail was bleeding when I left as well. There were other things that made this visit less than relaxing, but I won't go into it here. A few days after I had the pedicure, I called the salon to let them know about this and they offered nothing. This is the first time in my life I've ever had anything like this happen and it is really scary. I'm in pain and have an infection that wasn't there before I went to this salon. I would never go here again. It is so sad, because I came here a handful of times, and always felt like they did a pretty good job, but it's not worth it to take a chance that this can happen. It's a great location, they have great prices, but it's not worth it to go through this. read more

This is a fairly new spot nestled within a new condo building. It shares a garage with the Harris Teeter that is located on the same campus. If we had a nail spot bin our building at home ...oh how sweet that would be! Somewhat confusing for sure. That said, very worth your while! I'm in town several times a year to see family and so far this is my favorite spot. My Auntie and I were pleased to be able to schedule pedis last minute during holiday week. The salon is spacious and very clean. Our nail techs were both friendly and very thorough. There's a diverse choice of polish colors, both gel and regular. Auntie and I were offered water (the salon has a lovely fridge with water and soda) and we sat back and relaxed. We both loved our toe results!
