She has grown so much in her dance skills, but just as importantly, she truly enjoys going and has built a sense of "family" there. Ms. Nicole and Ms. Katie are very encouraging, but also direct and firm when corrections are needed, which really helps the girls continue improving their technique. They truly believe that if a child has a passion for dance, they deserve a chance to grow. The atmosphere is also incredibly positive- there's no "catty" behavior among the kids or parents, which makes it such a supportive and welcoming environment. Avery has taken both ballet/tap and ballet/jazz classes, and one thing I love is how supportive the environment is. The older dancers are always helping each other out and sharing tips and tricks, which makes such a positive difference. She really looks up to the older girls as role models. We're nearing the end of our first competition season, and it's been an amazing experience so far.
