Outstanding day care. Staff is excellent and my kids amaze me with they learn. Worth the cost to send your children here.

I am leaving my review on a website that allows you to give and state your experiences at facilities. This review is based on DiscoveryPointDaycare of Spring Hill. Our Baby stated there at 8 weeks and went for 4 1/2 months. The teachers were caring, and great with our baby, the Director not so much. The baby was always sick. Had numerous personal items stolen including 2 pairs of shoes. I was lead to believe there were cameras in the classrooms, until the teachers told me otherwise(explaining why when I asked the Director to review the cameras she gave me a blank stare). The last 2 weeks she was there baby came home with a fever (ended up with pink eye). We kept Baby out for the remainder of the week, Baby went back the following Monday healthy, and on Wednesday came home with another fever only to end up with RSV and the Flu. One of the teachers had gotten in trouble from the Director because she admitted that 1 Baby had gone home with double pink eye the week our baby had pink eye and when she returned, there had been another baby that had RSV and the flu. That was the straw that broke the camels back. We took our baby out! These are facts people! Investigate,Review, and protect your children.

My son has been going to this Discovery Point since he was about 6 months old. He loves going to…read moreschool every day. The staff is so friendly to him and to all the kids. My son has learned so much by attending this school, he is learning to potty train right now. He does all types of arts and crafts. His teachers helped him make my wife a happy birthday card and hes made me a fathers day gift. As for the prices, they are pretty much in line with the rest of the schools that are in the area.

I had a parent/teacher conference and after we finished the teacher dropped my daughter off to the boys and girls club. The "manager" (if you want to give these people titles) calls me very upset and says, "you need to come pick your daughter up now, she is not signed in and it is past sign in time!" After I advised her that I did not know she was brought to boys and girls club after meeting with the teachers she grabs the director, and she comes out and yelled at me in front of parents, students, teachers etc stating, "I expect parents to remain professional and respect the hours of operation!" I stated back to her " I didn't drop my child off, the teacher brought her in, and how unprofessional of you to scream at me like this in front of parents, students and staff!" She responded while yelling, "this is your daughter's last day!!" I was mortified. Now i am scrambling to find before/after care for my daughter so I can work. Save your children, do not bring them to this program. They just sit at a lunch table, no activities, no games, music, nada! It's like a babysitting club where my child comes home miserable daily. Everyday she tells me of how mistreated she is, the bullying, name-calling etc...

Anyway to start First day I picked my son up and he was still in a nighttime diaper we put on him in the morning before dropping him off .. sopping wet and full/ leaking. We let this go because we understand he is almost 3 and they had him the room where all kids were potty trained the teacher was not informed by Mrs Abby that he was in a diaper. The last straw my wife came early to pick our son up and he was MISSING after 15 min of looking he finally came out of a back room ! They refuse to show us ANY proof after the whole place is covered in cameras she would however send us videos of our son playing 30 min before he went missing. This happen on 3/22/24. We are only posting this because they have not giving us video evidence as promised and we WARN you to please don't take your child here and if you do find other means. This place is very affordable which should have been the first sign but that's not worth the health and wellness of your child. Our son started that Monday and was taken out by the end of the week. Please make other arrangements and don't do business with this place who stands behind being "Christian" but are really deceivers and untruthful people.

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. It's really a shame. There are a few good…read moreteachers, but most of them are not qualified. My son has special needs. I was very open about that before enrolling him. He was new to our family at the time and we weren't even sure how extensive his hindrances were. I was led to believe that they were equipped to provide a positive and constructive atmosphere for ALL children no matter their circumstance. He was left alone in a bathroom long enough to lift the toilet tank lid and break it. Twice. He was suspended for this. The first time there was no incident report, this led me to believe it was, in fact, not the second time. His teacher confirmed that it was the first time. I came in to find a decorated member of the management team yelling at him as he was curled in a ball on the floor. This is not an appropriate way to treat a 3 year old or any child for that matter. He got hurt on the playground and there was no explanation about exactly what happened to him. Simply "he says his shoulder hurts". He broke his clavicle. After our trip to the er when I called to let them know he wouldn't be coming back, they said they understood and seemed to show some concern. Until the next day when we received several phone calls asking "When will you be coming in to pay for him?" No child deserves to be left alone here.

Both my my girls go here. My oldest has gone here for almost a year and is currently enrolled in…read moretheir VPK program & will attend their summer program. She absolutely loves this facility. We had to place our older daughter to a new daycare when her old daycare shut down due to COVID. When this happened, our youngest was only 4 months old and we were not ready to put her into daycare yet. When our youngest turned 10 months old, we enrolled her into La Petite as well. She has been there for about 6 months now. I love how they provide all the food (breakfast, lunch, and snacks), as well as all the formula, diapers, wipes, etc for the younger children. It's all included in your tuition; which I find to be the cheapest around for all that you are getting with tuition. They also accept ELC which is a huge plus since both my girls get ELC. My oldest is always happy to come home from school and loves all her teachers & friends. I could tell a huge difference from her old preschool to this preschool. My oldest told me how her old teachers from her old preschool weren't always nice to her, but these teachers here at La Petite have always been nice to her. During COVID, they take everyone's temperature at the door, they all wear masks, and no one is allowed in the building (unless paying your tuition at the front desk with a mask on). I know my oldest would tell me if she did not like it here & that has not been the case! Would definitely recommend to anyone. Five stars all the way!!!!
