My child was in attendance here for 5 months & I couldn't get him out soon enough. He was placed in…read morethe 2 year old room because there was an opening there. He was 18 months when he started. My son was bitten several times (a normal thing for toddler, yes, but still an issue). The first time, the staff had no clue it even happened. He had 2 bites on his arm & 2 on his back. I noticed them when I got him home. They were severe enough that they left marks for several days. I KNOW my son must've cried when it happened. When I reached out to the teacher & owner about it, the response was "these things happen. We'll keep an eye on him". when I mentioned that he must've cried when it happened. The response was, "well, he cries sometimes." I let his teacher know that if there was another incident where he was injured or bitten that I wanted to be called immediately so I could pick him up. There were 2 separate biting incidents after that. I was not notified like I had requested. He also scratched his leg while trying to climb under a fence because he was not being watched on the playground. He had 3 different teachers in his class. No introductions were made, nor were the parents notified that there was a change. The general vibe in the daycare is very chaotic and disorganized. My son would come home completely filthy every single day. It looks like they didn't bother to wipe his hands or face at least once during the course of the whole day. One day he came completely covered in marker. On many occasions when I was picking up my son or dropping him off, I would see kids climbing all over the place. On tables, in the cubbies, on the windowsills, etc. It seemed like the teachers had no control of the classroom at all. The daily paper that they offer to tell you what your child's day is like was often forgotten. I would have to remind them almost daily to put it in his bag. They also feed the kids a lot of junk food. The meal for lunchtime was usually pretty good, but the snacks were usually sugary cereals, donuts, cookies, cheese, puffs, etc. So I started providing his own snacks from home, which many times were forgotten and he was fed whatever the rest of the children were eating. The staff were very nice people and I befriended a few of them, but as a Day Care, I would definitely not recommend this business. I will never ever ever send my son there again or recommend someone else go there after the experience I had after a mere five months of enrollment.

When I originally started looking for a preschool for my first son I went to a few very well-known local facilities and was not impressed at all. Each time I walked into the facilities I would just stand and listen to how the teachers were interacting with the children and how the children were playing until someone noticed i was in the facility and then I would ask for a tour. I was never happy with what I heard or saw. When I visited Holy Cross I walked in and just sat and listened I did not hear any children getting yelled at the place seemed very clean the teachers were interacting with the kids respectfully and the children seemed like they were having fun. Another reason why I like this facility is because it's smaller and the teachers and director are women who are a little bit older that are well seasoned and not like the typical younger people who like to be on their phones and not watch the children. I've had all three of my boys attend their preschool program and their VPK programs and I absolutely would recommend this place to everybody. If you're looking for a place that has smaller ratio teacher/child, well seasoned teachers and a clean Facility this places for you. Also the prices are very reasonable if that is a factor in finding the right facility for you.

Little background; Caiden has been is now 5 and prior to attending here, he was kicked out of 4 child care facilities for behavior since he was 3 years old. He would not use his inside voice, sit still when asked, and picked up a bad habit of biting other children, and even his teachers at one point. We were hopeless. We really thought no matter what we did to try to stop this behavior- we weren't going to be able to find a set child care program for very long without having to find another in the area that he hasn't already been banned from. Carol's been at it for over 30 years and it definitely shows! Not only has Caiden learned how to read, write, spell, do simple math, but his behavior is completely turned around. The amount of patience and energy that they put into these children really shows and I am so grateful we discovered their program when we did. They do so much with the children too! For example they had our local fire station come out with a truck and a couple firefighters to give a presentation and shoot the water out of the hose - They had a REAL butterfly garden showing the stages of life from caterpillar to butterfly- They have had plenty of farm animals as guests for education and of course the cute factor. I am leaving my review on a website that allows you to give and state your experiences at facilities. This review is based on DiscoveryPointDaycare of Spring Hill. Our Baby stated there at 8 weeks and went for 4 1/2 months. The teachers were caring, and great with our baby, the Director not so much. The baby was always sick. Had numerous personal items stolen including 2 pairs of shoes. I was lead to believe there were cameras in the classrooms, until the teachers told me otherwise(explaining why when I asked the Director to review the cameras she gave me a blank stare). The last 2 weeks she was there baby came home with a fever (ended up with pink eye). We kept Baby out for the remainder of the week, Baby went back the following Monday healthy, and on Wednesday came home with another fever only to end up with RSV and the Flu. One of the teachers had gotten in trouble from the Director because she admitted that 1 Baby had gone home with double pink eye the week our baby had pink eye and when she returned, there had been another baby that had RSV and the flu. That was the straw that broke the camels back. We took our baby out! These are facts people! Investigate,Review, and protect your children.

My son has learned so much by attending this school, he is learning to potty train right now. He does all types of arts and crafts. His teachers helped him make my wife a happy birthday card and hes made me a fathers day gift. As for the prices, they are pretty much in line with the rest of the schools that are in the area.
