The kiddo, even though only vpk, gets homework daily. It's not terribly difficult, but nice to see them challenging the kids. When I originally started looking for a preschool for my first son I went to a few very well-known local facilities and was not impressed at all. Each time I walked into the facilities I would just stand and listen to how the teachers were interacting with the children and how the children were playing until someone noticed i was in the facility and then I would ask for a tour. I was never happy with what I heard or saw. When I visited Holy Cross I walked in and just sat and listened I did not hear any children getting yelled at the place seemed very clean the teachers were interacting with the kids respectfully and the children seemed like they were having fun. Another reason why I like this facility is because it's smaller and the teachers and director are women who are a little bit older that are well seasoned and not like the typical younger people who like to be on their phones and not watch the children. I've had all three of my boys attend their preschool program and their VPK programs and I absolutely would recommend this place to everybody. If you're looking for a place that has smaller ratio teacher/child, well seasoned teachers and a clean Facility this places for you. Also the prices are very reasonable if that is a factor in finding the right facility for you.

The teachers themselves are over worked and under trained. I have had to correct how to wipe my child. Ensure that they fill their water more than just for meals and snack. The thing that breaks my heart is to see my child cry at drop off and nobody reacts. It's not until I ask for someone to come comfort her. Does anyone even bother to walk over to them and take their hand and say "your okay".
