Upon arrival we were greeted by Connor who was very friendly and helpful. He gave a few instructions on the layout. We retrieved our putter and golf ball. Off we went on this new adventure, as we had not been to this venue. The course was great. Several holes were a little challenging but we need aced it! The property is well-maintained and landscaped. Don't be frightened by the alligators!! They are just babies! We differently enjoyed this putt putt course and even won a BOGO ticket. So we will be returning for sure. What a fantastic day! GF and I played 36 holes and laughed the entire time. It was a super chill day and beautiful weather. Staff was great and were extremely friendly. Both of us are very competitive so we had to play 2rounds to see who real winner would be. Course was in great condition and staff was working to improve a few areas. TERRIBLE SERVICE TERRIBLE MANAGER the manager SELENA trespassed us for absolutely no reason without even talking to us. we paid a party of 2 complained that we were taking too long so they trespassed us. the manager didn't even give us a chance to talk to them or offer us a refund at all. it was my friends birthday. we were all a party of hispanic people so i strongly believe that this was a racist remark. they did not offer us our money back and didn't even talk to us. The mini golf course was awesome... even my dad (who can be a bit judgie) said so! Creative and well kept course. We did the safari package so my 4 year old could feed the gators, hold the gator, play in the arcade and mine for gems! The only thing better than the course was the staff! My rating is on price. If you go to any of the Pirates Cove courses around the country, the cost for an adult is around $10. Congo River was $17 for an adult and $15 for under nine. The course was nice and well maintained and the staff was nice. We were the only people there which doesn't surprise me due to the high cost to play. If they want business, they need to lower their prices. We won't be making a return trip due to high cost. read more

Awesome golf experience! My kids ages 5 and 3 loved it! We did the Ultimate Safari Package which included putt putt, alligator feeding, arcade tokens, gemstone mining, and holding an alligator. Each hole was very well maintained and challenging and the misting stations was a great touch! We also took advantage of panning for gems. The only thing I would have liked was some kind of small snack offered. They did have ice cream for sale. my husband and i were visiting family this week but had a day of free time and so we came here. We came around 3:00-4:00 and there was maybe one other group there doing stuff but other than that, we had complete control over the course. that was nice since usually you get stuck behind a group of people which takes the fun outa putput. for the two of us to golf the entire course, it was roughly $30 which was what i expected. It was HOT obviously, but they had a mist fan set up that you passed multiple times throughout the course and that was super thoughtful honestly. we spent a good couple minutes there cooling off each time we passed by. lol. they sold concessions as well if you needed them! we only did the putput, but they offered gator feeding too and they also had a small arcade set up. As we golfed, the employees were hard at work pulling weeds around their landscaping. that shows they care about their buiz!! the employees were super nice and made sure we knew about everything they offered. on the back of the score card, they have a scavenger hunt you can complete to earn a coupon for the next visit. there's lots of things to do here and it was super fun and chill. we recommend 10/10!! great for kids and families!! read more

Great mini golf course in Port Richey Florida. It's well taken care of, clean and nicely maintained. They have 18 challenging holes with Congo river theme. It's at different levels with stairs and waterfalls so a lot of fun for the kids. They also have an arcade, baby alligators you can feed or hold for an extra price. Friendly and helpful staff, private parking lot in the back. There's another Congo river golf in Clearwater but unfortunately there's none less than an hour from the main city of Tampa. It is a bit pricey ($35 for one adult and 2 kids just for the golf) but it's a very fun time and the kids loved it. Will definitely be back. read more

This is a nice place to go play miniature golf. My kids absolutely love it! You can play golf, feed baby alligators, play arcade games and even pan for gems. Of course, each extra activity costs money. They do have a few misting stations going on the golf course to help cool you off in the hot Florida sun. Get there early so you can enjoy. read more

We've been here twice and had a lot of fun! Both times we went on Saturday night (around 7-8pm). It was perfect timing because it wasn't very crowded and the weather is so much nicer after the sun goes down. The course is easy enough for kids but still challenging enough to keep adults interested. (A couple holes even had us up at 7-8 swings!) They have alligators you can feed and an arcade, as well as a "dj" playing music... Parking in the back and there were plenty of available spaces when we were there. Fun place! My kiddo loves it! It is VERY overpriced! I can't believe that its over $10 per person to play mini golf. It would be nice if they had specials when bringing kids. Some of the holes are quite challenging. Some aren't. Some holes are boring and some are pretty cool. One thing I have noticed is that it is different than "mini golf" because there isn't a wooden border to the holes, they are curved and lined with fake rock making it more challenging than normal "mini golf". They have a good deal when you are there, you can pay ahead for your next visit for only $6 per round which is awesome, but I always forget and leave...... read more

Never coming back. Came with a group of 7 adults, no children. We came and paid over a $100 for our group, never once did they say we had to split up, otherwise we would have not stayed because we wanted to do something as a group. We are all adults and super aware of our surroundings, we were on hole 4 WITH NO ONE BEHIND US, when Cheyenne came up to us and asked us to split up because we are holding people up and we said we came together and that there's no one behind us and if someone came behind us they can go ahead of us, no problem. She huffed and walked away. Then when we got to hole 8 she was STARRING US DOWN. My friend tabbed me and she said that lady who works here won't stop starring at us and it's making me uncomfortable. I said to my friend don't worry if she keeps starring at us I'll talk to the manager. Keep in mind we are about 50 feet or further from her and we were going through the holes SUPER fast, for 18 holes and 7 people we were done in 58 minutes. She leaned over the counter and YELLED "I can look at whatever I want because I'm the manager" and I said please stop looking at us and yelling to us we are trying to enjoy our time. She YELLED "I told you guys to split up already" and I said "you didn't tell us that when we bought or ticket, so either you give us a refund or leave us alone" she YELLED "no refunds" I said "ok then we're going super fast" and she yelled "no you're not!!!" Keep in mind were spending no more than 3 minutes a hole with 7 adults and the closest people to us is a group of 8 and they are on hole 2. She continued to stare us down, but we just wanted to finish our game. When we got to the end to turn in our pucks (because we are respectable people who would never not return our stuff) she said did you guys get to do the scavenger hunt? And we said "when did he have time for that??" She completely tried to back peddle and say that she never yelled at us nor wanted anyone to feel like they were getting yelled at. Literally insane. She said that she wasn't rude to say that she can stare at whatever she wants and that we were rude for asking to speak to the manager. We never asked to speak to the manager. She said she told us that she said all the rules before we checked out, which is impossible because she wasn't the one who checked us out. Corporate please review the tapes at 7pm on 9/22/19. Thank you. We were singled out as there was a group of 8 with children who were taking forever. So I have no idea why were we're singled out. We were completely respectful of peoples time, we weren't loud or disruptive. So it was very disheartening and super embarrassing to get yelled at in front of my husband. read more

I've been here a couple of times now. By far it surpasses all the mini golf places around. I've had a great time here. It's $10.99 for adults which is reasonable. I could see this place getting very busy on the weekends. They gators are pretty neat in the front. You can pay to feed them or hold them. The issue to hold them is there has to be more than one employee there. Both times I've been here there has only been one employee. We waited for about a half an hour for another employee to come back, but they never did. If it wasn't for that I would have given 5 stars. If you find all the things on the scavenger/treasure hunt you win scratch cards for money off something. I will be back here! read more

The worst mini golf establishment I've ever been to. The assistant manager was extremely confrontational. Her name was Chyenne Slabaugh. The other employee was named Mary and she was very nice and had nothing to do with this situation. The following all pertains to this assistant manager named Chyenne. A group of us were enjoying being there until one of us noticed that Chyenne was glaring at us all. Then one of us said "If this woman keeps staring at us, I'm gonna have to ask for the manager." Then Chyenne leans over her counter and SHOUTS at us from her booth, which was at least 50 feet away, "I'LL STARE AT WHATEVER I WANT, AND IM THE MANAGER, SO IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO THE MANAGER YOU CAN TALK TO ME!" Then she continued yelling to us that we needed to split our group up because it was going to slow everyone down behind us. Which is understandable, however, the only problem with that was, there was NOBODY BEHIND US! Literally nobody else was there except for one other group of seven that were just getting started on the first hole, while we were already on the eighth hole. Then we told her to just give us a refund if you're gonna yell at us, then she said no refunds. Then we told her "ok then we will enjoy our time here." After playing the rest of the holes, when we turned our putters in, she was completely fake to us and pretending nothing happened, and had the audacity to give us some stupid membership cards as if we forgot that she yelled at us during our game. Then we ask her why she was singling us out when there was a group behind us just as big as ours, so she explained how it works and why that's what they supposedly require, however nobody explained that to us when we paid for the game that we would have to split up, because we would have left if we knew that. Also, it is conveniently no refunds, (we all can see why they don't give refunds.) So my wife asked her why she was being so rude to us and Chyenne said "I wasn't being rude, you asking for the manager is rude." How is asking for the manager at any establishment rude? So I myself said to her "you were just being very aggressive by yelling at us from the window." Then she said "have a good night, have a good night." And turned her back on us while we were talking to her. Absolutely NEVER going back to this place or any other one under their ownership. read more

So.... my family and I had a lot of fun on the actual course! They were fun and the spin wheel gave it a nice twist. HOWEVER, we fed the gators at the front of the facility when we first got there. I automatically noticed the large amount (I counted at least 30) of baby/ young gators all crammed into a small little area with a diameter of no more then like 12 square feet. This did really upset me because with the size of the area for the gators, there should be like 5 or 6 max. To make matters worse, I realized one in particular looked dead ( covered in sand and flies with its arm bent the wrong way) so I went and asked the lady about it and she said it was hibernating... yea ok. As we were leaving we saw another employee with a pool skimmer getting the dead one out of the enclosure area... NO ANIMAL SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE THIS! With 30+ young gators, this is BS! After we witnessed this on our way out I decided to look at the gators again because initially I noticed 2 that looked dead. When I told her about the other one which was under water and haven't moved the whole time we were there. She continued to tell me it was hibernating. Do not support this place! Will absolutely never come to this location again nor will I be going to any of their other locations just so I don't have any chance of any interaction with their so called "assistant manager" (who yelled that she is THE manager even though her card says otherwise). Chyenne Slabaugh bullies and yells at customers for literally no reason at all. She orders the other employee around while she just stands in the checkout booth (not checking anyone out, she also made the other employee do all of that as well) and yells at PAYING CUSTOMERS through her booth. The other employee, Mary, was cleaning and taking out trash and just looked absolutely terrified of this "assistant manager". My group was in such a rush to get out of this place just to get away from THIS EMPLOYEE!!! It's sad because until she started yelling at us we were actually having a nice time and the weather was beautiful and the course was fun. Also want to add that there weren't any children in our group. We're all married adults and were there with our spouses. Totally were minding our own business. This lady is a complete psycho and like I said, I'll never come back and I know my friends won't be either. Hopefully an ACTUAL manager will reconsider her employment here because this is clearly a patterned behaviour based on these other reviews. read more

It's a decent time here. The course is fun & you can get through it in about an hour. It was pretty packed when we went on a Saturday evening, put it still moved pretty quickly.
