Most of the staff are antisocial with the exception of one young lady named Sunshine. She's a very sweet woman and she cares about people. The other person that is very kind and caring is Amy, one of the lifeguards. I miss them both quite a bit. I heard I'm not the only one they kicked out of this YMCA. There were some men I heard that were kicked out because they cursed frequently when they were working out in the gym so they kicked them out too. This is a very judgmental place. the pool is dirty lots of leaves on the bottom. I don't recommend you come here.

The instructors are all very friendly, sweet, and always smiling. I am here anywhere from 3-7 days a week enjoying a class. Classes go on from very early morning until evening hours. I really love this park!…read more I saw the signs for it & just decided to check it out as I love to visit the Nature parks. This park is exceptionally beautiful. It has an old vintage Florida feel with gorgeous old moss covered trees, kids play areas, an old vintage railroad, tons of biking & walking/hiking trails & a giant Lilly covered pond/lake. I had such a great time the first time I went. There was wildlife everywhere & I got to video some very friendly birds. I went back again & it was even more beautiful the second time, than the first time as it had just rained & all the flowers were blooming. They have a little garden there. It's just so precious. This place is so very beautiful. I keep finding all these different trails, they are obviously working on it & making it bigger with more trails. It's a very peaceful place, Like a forgotten tropical wilderness stuck in time. I have not seen more than 5 people here at once. I love all the Nature Parks for hiking but I have to admit. This one is very special & very unique. I can't wait to return. Highly recommended.

While it was difficult to find a chair / shade we secured a chair in the sand area. The water was freezing but expected. It was also very relaxing. The wildlife is awesome to see. We got hot dogs, pepperoni pizza, cherry limeade. The lazy river does cost extra but it's worth it, I'd love to return because unfortunately due to inclement weather the water attractions were shut down.

Watching the performers was delightful. Even with the air lines under the water it was amazing to watch. Just being able to keep your eyes open underwater was astounding to me. We even got an extra performance for the Memorial Day holiday with a tribute to our service members. After the show they had a mermaid photo op that was donation based. After the show, I explored the rest of the park. It isn't that large but was a nice area and worth the $13 to get in. They have an area for swimming in part of the springs. I didn't bring my swimsuit but there were many people swimming and having a good time. There are some water slides too. They have a great gift shop. We were fortunate enough to get up close and personal with Triangle the manatee, and Kia made sure everyone in our group had an opportunity for a face-to-face encounter. Along the way, we learned a lot about manatees, their habitat, and the importance of protecting these gentle giants. We also got to explore a beautiful natural spring tucked away in the back of the bay, which was an unexpected bonus and absolutely stunning. Kia took some fantastic underwater photos during the tour and had them sent to us before we even left, which was a wonderful touch and gave us great memories to take home. The small-group atmosphere made the experience feel personal and relaxed, and Kia and Jake worked seamlessly together to ensure everyone had a great time.
