"Nouvelle" is the most incredible restaurant I have Found in Tampa/St Pete area…read more It's Fine French, of course, OuiOui, owned by a lovely French couple. I overheard the lady that runs the place tell another customer they still own the restaurant, but they are unfortunately divorced. Nothing in life comes easy, and to their enormous credit, they have done an extraordinary job keeping the integrity of the restaurant intact even though they may have parted ways. The love of this restaurant is apparent between them. You can feel it in the lovely atmosphere, the incredible food, the amazing service, all of the utmost highest standards. The result, "Nouvelle" an enduring labor of Fine French love.. the best things in life come from difficult & meaningful. As difficult & meaningful will always bring more satisfaction than easy & meaningless. On our first visit, it was Sir Hubbers birthday. We sat in the back of the restaurant where we could take in the whole experience. We were both just astonished how beautifully elegant Nouvelle is & how fabulous it smells. It's a very special place. A perfect celebratory restaurant OuiOui. You def want to make reservations here for your special occasions, it's quite tiny with a few booths on one wall & a few tables down center & two very classic corner booths. The owner, a lovely, bubbly French woman, runs the front of the house. She is very warm & friendly, very chatty with her customers, knows their previous orders, what they like etc., like I said, you can feel the labor of love that's woven into this place daily. It has their signature pulse, two separate heartbeats, that beat as one, that cannot be broken. We came for that kind of Romance, and the Chateaubriand for two... we also ordered a bottle of Bordeaux wine & Classic Escargot to round out our celebratory dinner.. We are still talking about that Chateaubriand. The best one we have ever had in our lives. Even better than Brennan's in New Orleans OuiOui. It was plated so beautifully & the sides were perfection. The gratin potatoes are also offered as an appetizer or you can order a 4 pack to go for $18. Same with the carrots. The best carrots I have ever had. You can get them to go also for $18. We were so full & on our way to Sir Hubbers birthday party, we skipped desert, but they all sounded so incredible. They make everything from scratch with quality ingredients. On our second visit, we had the escargot & Bordeaux again. I'm absolutely positive we will have them again on our 3rd, 4th, 50th visit too. We have found the most perfect Romantic place with the most incredible Fine French cuisine. The best Chateaubriand we have ever had. The best Bordeaux wine list. The best potatoes gratin & carrots. The restaurant itself is also beautiful: cozy, elegant, spotless, and clearly very well cared for. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food or the atmosphere. Our server, who was French, was noticeably aggressive and unfriendly, particularly toward my teenage son. He politely asked three times for a basket of bread, and each time her response was unnecessarily irritated and harsh. If the bread was expensive or came with an additional charge, that could have been explained politely and simply added to our bill. There was absolutely no need for that kind of attitude toward a teenager who was being completely respectful. As a mother, this was especially disappointing. I can accept that a restaurant may have its rules, but I cannot understand why a polite young person should be treated with irritation for simply asking for something as basic as bread. I was also celebrating my birthday that evening, yet there was not even a small acknowledgment of the occasion. We spent approximately $250 for three people, and we genuinely expected a warmer and more attentive level of service. I chose not to say anything at the time because I didn't want to let someone else's attitude spoil my birthday. But I do feel that this feedback is important. The kitchen deserves 5-6 stars. The restaurant itself deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, the service fell far below that standard. Beautiful restaurant, exceptional food -- but the service needs significant improvement.

Cici's Pizza Review - Dangerous Health Hazards & Unprofessional Management** I am writing to share my deeply troubling experience at Cici's Pizza on **January 5th around 7:00 PM**. This visit raised serious concerns about food safety, customer care, and basic hygiene, and I strongly urge management or corporate offices to take immediate action. --- ### **Severe Sanitation and Food Safety Problems** - **Pest Infestation**: The most disturbing incident was when **my autistic son spotted a roach crawling up the wall** near our table. This understandably upset him and ruined our confidence in the restaurant's cleanliness. Soon after, when he wanted brownies, the manager brought out cold brownies from under the counter with no cover. After seeing the roach, my son refused to eat them, worried about contamination. - **Unsafe Food Handling**: I witnessed employees **making pizzas with their bare hands--no gloves at all--and then handling cash at the register before returning directly to prepare pizzas**. There was absolutely no attempt to wash or sanitize their hands in between these tasks. This cross-contamination is appalling and, frankly, it is no surprise that my entire family felt sick afterwards. - **Dirty and Wet Utensils**: There were no forks available when we arrived, and all the plates, silverware, and bowls were either dirty or soaking wet. The dishwashing process did not appear to use hot water, judging by the cold and wet condition of the dishes. We had to dry them ourselves with napkins. - **Messy & Understocked Service Areas**: The soda bar was a mess, and they ran out of cups, forcing us to use paper cups. Later, they ran out of bowls for the salad bar, so customers had to wait for more to be cleaned. --- ### **Cold Food & Manager's Rude Behavior** - **Cold, Exposed Brownies**: As mentioned, the brownies were cold and kept uncovered under the counter, making them especially unappetizing after seeing a bug nearby. The manager claimed the heat lamps were "just for show," laughed at our concerns, and was completely dismissive. - **Improper Food Temperatures**: Food did not appear to be kept at safe temperatures. Almost immediately after eating, I became very ill and had to rush to the restroom, and when we got home, my entire family took turns being sick for the rest of the night. --- ### **Overcharging and Manager's Mocking Response** - **Pricing Scam**: I was charged $10 per person instead of the clearly advertised $5.99 buffet price for Mondays and Tuesdays. When I showed the manager my receipt, he laughed and said "You have to read the fine print--it's with a code," again treating our complaint as a joke instead of addressing it seriously. --- ## **Summary** This was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. **From roaches on the walls, to unsanitary food handling, to dirty dishes and rude management**--everything about this place is a disaster waiting to happen. With staff making pizzas barehanded, skipping handwashing between handling money and food, and constant cross-contamination, it is not surprising that my whole family got sick after eating here. As a parent of autistic children, I am especially frustrated by the dismissive attitude of the manager and the unsafe, unhealthy environment. **I urge Cici's corporate to launch an urgent investigation and take strong corrective action against this location and its management. Serious violations of basic health code and customer rights cannot be ignored.** --- *Visit: January 5th, 7:00 PM. Will provide photos/receipt if needed.* read more

This was a horrible night out. Currently sitting in the resturaunt as the fucking dishwasher guu cleans our table as my wife was getting up for seconds to pretty much push us out the door, ob top of that grabbed our drink cups and tossed em away. Irritated i sat at another table and voiced "guess ill just sit here" as i had crumbs from his nasty ass rag flung in my face as he flicked the rag behind him to "clean it off". Im beyond pissed that i took family time away to write this review as im still sitting in ur establishment. Icing on the cake, marinara sauce was asked for well before 9:20 but we were told no were done at 9:30. It was pulled from the buffet prior to asking which questioned us? I just paid 45 dollars to watch you pull food away early, rush me out the door, and tell me i cant get what i paid for, flick crumbs in my face, complain about ur job the whole time, from almost all employees..loudly through the whole resturaunt, how uncomfortable to make us eating the food u prepared!!. To top it the employee kept yelling it that no were done at 9:30 after another employee offered to help us out, while she stuffed her face of brownies while at the buffet bar. Complete bs and will not be stopping at this review. Screw this visit, usually love cicis.. Next time mcdonalds..cheaper price better service.. Dom read more

I have never reviewed because while the pizza is good and the food is good the service has always been mediocre. Just kind of what is expected and honestly that is pretty normal for a pizza place. Today put a bad taste in my mouth. Joe our server sees us walk in with my two kids and you can see the change of demeanor when we say we are eating in. Again nothing we are unused to with two young kids we kind of always get mid or poor service, because they assume we are going to be a mess, loud and don't tip well. While we were sitting his regulars came in and boy what a flip of the coin. Very attentive. While they were sitting he shared a story about how he went to a restaurant and his server gave poor service. Didn't fill his glass for 12 minutes. How he was half way through his meal before she noticed and her excuse was she didn't see the glass. He was critiquing how you have to be more observant and attentive. How he is a server and he gets being busy, but you still need to pay attention to your surroundings. Well I ordered my daughter spaghetti with the sauce and meatball on the side. He brought it with the sauce and meatball on top and his excuse was he didn't hear me. He then didn't offer or refill my drink once. Infact because of his story I made a point to lift my glass when he came over and he still didn't refill it. Well over 20 minutes with an empty glass. He had 3 tables and one was regulars. The icing to my grip I also ordered a Diet Pepsi which is what was on the fountain but it was definitely a Pepsi Zero, all my fellow diet soda drinkers know, there is a difference and we have a preference. If your ok with good food but mediocre service it's fine, but don't expect more.
