I love this place. Just went yesterday. The General Tso Chicken was hot and delicious. The special came with white or fried rice, yum. Was served hot. I also got an egg roll, it was delicious, loaded with veggies and crispy on the outside. My friend got the chicken lo mein special menu that comes with an egg roll. He loved everything. There are a couple tables but it's more of a take out place. The portions are generous and the woman working the front is very friendly. Best Chinese food I've found in this area. read more

I ordered my food here through DoorDash. I ordered an egg roll, wonton soup, and chicken lo mein. The food was edible at best. The egg roll was tiny and burned. The wontons barely had any meat in them. I started eating the chicken lo mein, and all I can say is ick. I've never seen onions in lo mein before, and the spices used were awful. I forgot to snap pics of the food because we got it to go, but I got the House Lo Mien, Crab Rangoon, WonTon Soup, and Chicken Fried Rice. Before you judge, it was for 4 people, not just myself, sheesh people! Anyway, I ordered through Yelp which then used GrubHub. The LoMien was for me, but my kids couldn't keep their chopsticks out of it because they loaded it up so well with the meats, and veggies! It was delicious. My mouth is watering just typing this out. I've never had Crab Rangoon like this one before. They were triangles, and was stuffed full of the goodness inside. The breading was a sweet crunchy outside and soft and gooey inside, topped off with the sweet and sour sauce just made it all so good together. I didn't try the soup or the chicken fried rice because my food was filling enough even with little fingers in it. My kids both gobbled down the soup, though! The rice still had some leftover, but not much. It was a lot of food! This place is almost walking distance from where I live, so now when I'm in the mood to walk, maybe that'll be where I stop! My husband and I ordered our dinners to be picked up recently - he had cashew chicken, pork fried rice and I ordered shrimp with vegetables and pork lo mein. The restaurant is now pick up only due to the corona virus, so we dined at home. The hostess greeted me warmly. He found the cashew chicken as passable but didn't care for the sauce in it, and noted that it didn't have a lot of cashews. Pork fried rice was good and was his favorite of the two. My shrimp with vegetables was also passable and I wasn't crazy for the sauce - too salty. Pork lo mein was passable but not as good as what we've eaten in the past - either in St. Augustine or NYC. This place is delicious!!!! There's just something about it that makes it so different from all the other fast food Chinese places! The taste in the food is outstanding! We've only tried the beef with broccoli and the boneless spareribs, but I will definitely try something new next time. I've gone here a few times for pick up and dining in, and the service is phenomenal! The older lady at the front is super sweet and kind. Always thanking you for coming in and keeping conversation with you. She always asks to spread the word, because surprisingly for as good as they are, they aren't too popular. Although they are a little hidden. They always throw in some wonton chips and they are freaking addicting!! Makes you wont to order a huge bag of them! The plates are always LOADED to the point they need to wrap them in plastic wrap. This new restaurant is exceptionally good. My husband brought home takeout from here a few days ago. It was so good that we decided to eat in today. We started with Crab Rangoon, Fried dumplings, and Spring Roll as an appetizer. All were delicious. Perfectly cooked. Homemade flavor--not cheap bulk prepackaged food like many Chinese restaurants sell. For dinner we had General Tso's chicken (heat level 4). It was not spicy at all for my husband who doesn't like spicy good. The Veggie Lo Mein was great. Crisp Veggies and very flavorful. The restaurant is small and tucked back in the plaza so you may need to look for it. Only 4 booths and 3 tables so it is not large or fancy but worth a visit. read more

I was going down Spring Hill Drive three or four days ago and saw a sign that said Chinese restaurant at Kass Circle. So today, Saturday I figured I'd dropped and try it. Very nice and courteous service. I was sitting there and they came over and brought me the crunchy noodles. As I munched on them and the duck sauce I decided to have a fried roast pork egg roll. I also ordered wonton soup wonton soup. Everything was hot and tasty and delicious. I didn't order more than that because I'm in the mood for a submarine sandwich for dinner. Be assured I will be back one day this week for the lunch specials. Only 13 days left with 20 percent off. Come and enjoy some good Chinese food and save some money. No delivery but eating in is nice or take out. Other people were eating next to me and they had already been here a few times and said their dinners were delicious. Absolutely the best Chinese food in Spring Hill. Dumplings and crab Rangoon are delicious. The flavors are so refreshing. We've been looking for and trying all the different spots and our search is over. I can't believe how hard it was to find good Wonton soup but theirs is the best I've ever had. Since finding the garden we've eaten here more then a dozen times! I don't normally give 5 stars but I think they truly deserve it. It's not a fancy place by any means but the Food is that good. I hate this! Yesterday I was craving chicken lo Mein and a spring roll. I researched several places in Spring Hill. I decided on this one. I have never not been able to eat a meal to this extent. My chicken Lo Mein was nothing more than spaghetti noodles al dente no less with a ton of garlic and some olive oil. The chicken was a very odd. No vegetables. The spring roll was not crunchy and mushy in middle. I spent $17 and couldn't eat it. I did call and the woman told me I could get another another one. This is the real deal NY style Chinese takeout that we grew up on. We had two combos, roast pork with Chinese vegetables with pork fried rice and chicken with snow peas with chicken fried rice and a couple of egg rolls. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious - the portions were very generous, so much that I didn't even eat half of one of the meals (I'm a pretty big eater normally). China Garden is our new go-to Chinese restaurant even though there are at least three others that are closer to our home. We highly recommend this place if you love good Chinese food. If our next visit is as good as our first visit we'll add another star to our review. read more

This place is the best place for Chinese food in Spring Hill. You can tell when someone really puts there heart in what they are preparing. We all have different preferances but the food here is really good. Kimmy the server, is really sweet and wants to make sure you enjoy your meal. I love cheap prices but they are to cheap for them to survive. What I like about this place is you can tell its made from scratch. This place prepairs Chinese food the way we used to get it. I am a tough food critic so I held back the 5th star not because anything was bad but because I evaluate the restaurant as a whole experience. First off - This is a WONDERFUL little business. My overall all experience was great from beginning to end. I was visiting family in florida and they insisted we eat here. I'm very happy we did. Here are my notes: It is a small hole in the wall kind of place. There are maybe 10 tables in the seating area. The server was very nice and polite, The owner is super kind as well. I felt very welcome at this restaurant. My Aunt ordered Crab Rangoon for the table and DANG were those things stuffed! They were very tasty. I ordered the Pork Lo Mein and Fried rice. The Pork Lo Mein was loaded with yummy veggies and pork. The egg fried rice was awesome too! My aunt recommends the Kung Pao Chicken and at a 6 of spicy (1-10) it was very good. Any time our drinks were getting low they asked if we needed anything else. We ended up with 3 free bottles of coffee before we left as they had a box marked "free coffee". My aunt was given one and then the owner brought 2 more over for us as there were 3 of us. To top everything off the owner wa talking with us and walked with us and held the door for us as we left. Very nice and kind. * Service was fantastic. * Food was great! * Prices were more than fair for the portion sizes! * Owner was very Friendly. I arrived a few minutes early so I sat and chatted with my husband. 11:35 we walk up to door and place is dark and door is locked. I knocked on window thinking perhaps they were in back. Nothing! We received an egg roll instead of 2 spring rolls, and a text message much time after placed order that they did not have veggie egg foo young which was half of our dinner! I'm not talking a hint of a bad odor, it gagged me and my husband. As soon as I opened the bag I smelled rotting meat. I believe all the good reviews on here are family members of the owners ! these people posting these good reviews are completely false statements they don't know good Chinese food ! I would rather go to the Chinese buffet on 50 it's much cheaper and plus you can get bigger portions! Do not come to this restaurant it's a big rip off!! On the lunch special they charge for fried rice $1 extra which in my opinion you should have a choice between white or fried rice. The egg rolls taste moldy. The chicken is very small and what Chinese restaurant puts sauce packets on the table instead of the bowls with sauce in it! Then they have the nerve to charge $1 for hot tea !
