As someone who has never visited a Muslim country, it was honestly a real culture shock for me. That said, the atmosphere felt warm, polished, social, and community-driven. I don't know... maybe it's a coincidence that there is a deer in the logo that could be Harry's stag patronus. Either way, there is a definite reference even if it is subtle. When I walked in, around 9am on a weekday, it was so bright and cheerful inside. The woman who took my order was very nice and made good recommendations. I ordered the gorgeous croissant a l'emmental and a beautiful berry pastry. I wish I could tell you I ate one there and took the other home for the next day. But that's not what happened! I got to the car with the second one and savored the whole thing right there. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to enjoy both of them popping fresh.
