Stopped here about 7PM on a Friday. Service was slow and it wasnt that busy - ordered a few beers and they were cold and tasty. When I ordered food (I was sitting at the bar), as the food was delivered I was asked by security to give up my seat so they could remove the chairs. It still wasnt busy, so. I think it would have been in their best interest to let me eat (then remove the chair) rather than relocate to a table - but luckily there were some tables open. I just ordered some snacks -food was ok. The Band they had on - Lawson Harris, was great! They were a good country band with a mix of own stuff and lots of good covers. I'd highly recommend the band. read more

They played a ton of covers. Tip for requests. Basically a live jukebox. Service was nice but the beer does take a while to come out. Coors Light, 32 oz - $5 - This was a deal posted at the entrance. Tin Roof! Rusty! Cute little venue right on Beale Street and one which we have been in more than a few times. Always reminds me of the B-52's and usually there's some fun stuff happening in here on any given evening. Excellent spot, not cheap, but then neither was your sister this past weekend. read more

It's a typical bar you would imagine in Beale St. quirky and older. Decor was a combination of Christmas lights and local decor. We ordered the Jack and chicken quesadillas. They came with chips and salsa. Our waitress was super friendly. The food was about as good as a quesadilla can be. Not much seasoning and a bit dry but maybe a two star. There are better places to eat but it wouldn't say don't go there. read more

We visited on a Wednesday evening in the midst of covid season- that being said the place was pretty empty. There was live music when we arrived and the guy performing had a great voice. We ordered a few drinks and an order of chips and queso. The drinks were ok, same as most places on Beale.. but the queso was not our favorite. It was a queso blanco that tasted like they mixed in a bunch of pickled jalapeño juice into it.. it was pretty off putting and kind of gross... we ate about a quarter of it before we wandered down the street for somewhere a little more lively. read more

We've been to three Tin Roof bars and we have loved them all! We have visited the Nashville location, the Indianapolis location and the Memphis location. Tin Roof has good food, great drink specials and always the best live music. Last night we enjoyed whiskey Wednesdays with $5 Jameson and Jack Daniels shots. read more

I went to a #Yelp901-sponsored event and had an amazing experience. Firstly, I loved the setting on Beale Street at the new Tin Roof restaurant. The building designers knocked the walls out of ground floor of the old Hard Rock Cafe. It's now SO open and airy. The Feng Shui is SO much better! I adored the upstairs area as the setting for the CMYE party - it would be a great space to rent out for a casual private party. OKAY...SOOOOO...THE FOOD...WAS...DELICIOUS!! I write that in all caps because I was expecting bar food, not prawns, brisket and bread pudding. A staffer told me this is their regular food. I just didn't expect that at a laid back venue with bands that perform regularly. The brisket LITERALLY melts in your mouth. It was perfectly seasoned AND they have it every Monday. I love that they have set meals for each specific day of the week. Very Southern. The staff was particularly nice and every time they delivered a dish, they told you the name of the dish and ingredients. They had a cover band performing on the ground floor and it served as a neat backdrop. He was singing his little heart out. I rolled out of that place, fat and happy! THANKS AGAIN, YELP! read more

Visited on a Friday during the International Blues Challenge with a friend. Crowded and loud, but that's the point on Beale, isn't it? Had the Tin Roof classic burger and shared the loaded tots. The burger was excellent. The server was quite good, with a room full of people coming and going, he was right on top of things. The thing we didn't like was the architecture - there is a post right in the middle of the viewing area which - if you're seated/standing in the middle - keeps you from viewing the center of the stage! I know they just inherited the building from Hard Rock and it's an old, old building, butt could that be corrected? read more

Came here for the Yelp Event "Party Like a Rock Star" and had THE BEST DRINK OF MY LIFE! I really love the upstairs seating area that lets me watch the bands down below. It's just neat. I've been in this building when it was the Hard Rock Cafe (recording my friend's dad's band play) and loved it then as well. Hubby and I also loved the opportunity to try some new stuff. He even ordered a burger that appealed to him. We especially loved the brisket and I was quite fond of the Chile Bang Bang Shrimp. The Whiskey Banana Bread Pudding was good but I didn't like the whiskey flavor and aftertaste. More than anything else, I loved the bartenders upstairs. I don't usually review alcohol because I rarely drink, but holy crap, these people know what they're doing. I said, and I quote "Give me something fruity" and I GOT IT. Not only was it amaze-balls, but hubby took one (LARGE) drink and ordered one for himself (that I also stole sips out of). Bartender gave me the recipe (I just wanted the name but I was happy for the recipe as well) and I am adding it to my personal fav recipes cookbook. After bar hopping around Beale Street we settled in to Tin Roof unintentionally. We thought it would just be another quick pop-in for a drink but we ended up staying. It wasn't the drinks, which they do a solid job of making and serving, and it wasn't the atmosphere, which was friendly and laid back. It was the metal ring game that sucked us in! We saw it on another table and couldn't leave until we tried it (pretty fun, btw). But wow are we glad we did stay! They had a band called Glow Co. playing that night and they were FANTASTIC! They're a cover band but they covered recent hits (as opposed to most that cover old stuff) and some pretty recent hits. Seriously, everything they played was outstandingly executed. As for the place itself, it's basically one BIG room with a stage in one corner, plenty of tables, a BIG four-sided bar, and the décor is rustic/hipster/industrial. I believe there is a separate room, or patio, but it was blocked off for a private party. Nonetheless, it's a great spot. If you're roaming Beale then check out Tin Roof. It's a solid bar and they have some good acts. If Glow Co. is back, GO SEE THEM. read more

This place has always been mediocre at best. However, a friend just visited and was passed over at the bar repeatedly while the staff waited on others, including people just walking in the door, seated side-by-side. My friend finally had to ask for a manager to get served at all. If you look different than the staff and patrons, you might be better served at a different establishment. read more

I've frequented this establishment more times than I can count (for some reason) and each time I except a different experience yet end up leaving wondering why I ever came. To exemplify, most recently, I had my purse set atop the bar while ordering a drink to have it taken from me moments later,, only to find out later the bartender took it. My friends and I were looking around for it everywhere in the bar to find nothing until later when one friend was ordering a drink. She saw one of the bartenders searching through my bag and counting my money. Thankfully she got it back before anything could happen. That is not the type of behavior I want from a worker of the bar went going to that bar for the evening. read more

They don't take security seriously at all. We had a girl stalking us around the bar the entire night and would not leave us alone and at some point when we tell her to leave us alone she claims that she has a gun on her. We immediately went to security to tell them the threat and the guy asked us to point her out so we did and then he went and got her and BROUGHT HER TO US, checked her and then just let her stay. We left because we felt extremely unsafe after that. read more

There's an entrance fee but hold up! the people at the door had a tip jar that they put in front of you... and then they hit you with the cover charge. Late night live music from a cover band in one room, a DJ in the other It was busy and lively and the bartender helped everyone around us even people that showed up after us.. so we paid a cover plus tip (wtf) and got no service but in an obvious way of being ignored. read more

Very consistent. Always have good service and the bartenders pay attention and service customers accordingly. I've not had any food from here, but the drinks are solid, consistent and priced properly. My only gripe is not so much the restaurant itself as opposed to customers insisting on trying/making it as dirty and difficult as they can for servers. read more

So my boyfriend and I plus a couple of his friends went to tin room on Oct 17th. I am highly disappointed in the service we received. There were three waitresses in the top area. The blonde wearing a ponytail was literally sitting down at a table flirting with two gentlemen. How is this allowed? Where is the manager? Even our waitress stated, "I'm so sorry for the wait. I won't even throw her under the table." Even though we knew who she was talking about. The waitress sitting down should not even have a job. This is beyond unprofessional. read more
