They're under new management, so they probably need to iron out service logistics. The place is beautiful, outdoors, and very busy. We areived Subdayvat 845am and the wait for a table was 50 minute. After the 50 minute wait to get a table, we placed our order, and we didn't get our food until about 1.5 hours later. We didnt get water for almost 45 mins. So, definitely don't come here with kids. The food was ok, depending on what you ordered. Eggs rosalie were not good. Chocolate chip pancakes were delicious, yet somehow hard/stiff. I prefer fluffy pancakes. The waitresses were all very nice nd sweet. I dont think the issie was them, i think the issue is management needs to plan better for busy times. read more

Tin Pan Galley is the best dinner spot in Sackets Harbor. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed great live music while we dined. The food is nothing great, but the service and ambiance definitely makes up for it. Would suggest to make a reservation as it is a small space and seems to be very popular! read more

This place benefits from the theory of relativity...better than most places around the 1000 Islands. The bland suburbanites from Rochester might think its heaven... Most places like this in NYC or New England wouldnt put a hamburger on the menu... read more

Love this place. Great food fun atmosphere. They have live music Thursday-Sunday. It's a quaint little patio with garden seating and an outside bar. They have a few tables inside for the rainy river days. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner and they are all delicious. I love their portobello stack salad. They have good calamari and tuna steak, their mojitos and sangria are really good too. Morgan is a great bartender always so pleasant and he makes great drinks. If your visiting the thousand islands I highly recommend this restaurant. You'll love it. It's great. read more

Current hours are 8-3. As it was a day off from school we anticipated a wait. Waited 45 minutes for a seat, again anticipated. As soon as our waitress took our drink order we ordered an appetizer. She came back awhile later for our order. We waited over an hour for that appetizer. Waitress never came back to inform us why the wait for the appetizer was so long. We asked the person who filled our water glasses, had to request more ice as it had melted and the water was warm. Waitress finally came over to ask what we asked the person who refilled our water. Told us there was a minimum wait for tickets in the kitchen of at least an hour. That both orders were in. By this time it wasn't that busy and most tables had their food. Finally got the appetizer. Had to wait another 45 minutes for our order. Mine was cold, I didn't bother saying anything as I wasn't waiting any longer. Other order was fine. We got boxes and paid. From start to finish 3 hours. Won't be back. Have heard from others, it's been this way for a while and this wasn't a one time thing. Owner is trying to hire. Will be a longtime before we go back. read more

Just had brunch here this week and definitely adding it to my list of favorites! We had to wait for a table and we see why!! Each of us at our table of 5 ordered a different dish and after trying all of them, I can say they're all equally amazing! I had the crab cake benedict and these were by far the best crab cakes I've ever had. Definitely recommend! read more

Reservations highly recommended. TPG was full as everywhere else in town was pretty empty. While the food is pretty good the kitchen has a real problem getting it to the table at anything like hot, or even warm. Service is good, the view and facility are lovely, and it's a great place to share hor d'oeurves and a few drinks. You must be tolerant to have a full meal. All things considered, we'll go back but order off the appetizer menu and share. read more

Best breakfast and brunch I've EVER had. You will almost definitely have a wait (usually not too long) unless you are an early riser, but even people who would rather starve than stand in line will willingly wait for seats here. Plus you can walk around the quaint strip area where this is while you wait. The menu has plenty of options, and there are always a few interesting specials, but anything you try will be excellent. The decor is very eclectic and proves both interesting and pretty. Outdoor seating on the garden patio in summer is very pretty, ironwork fences it in and it's got lots of greenery and a view of the street (watch the parades here!) In summer the outdoor bar area in the garden often has good live music in the evenings. Overall I love this place. read more

Outstanding!! Not only is the food fabulous, but the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. I had I fried green tomato salad. It has a kick to it but full of flavor. My husband ordered the Salmon sandwich and described it as the best he has had. Our friend ordered the lobster sandwich and said it was very good. Only thing that would have are it better is a more buttery roll. Worth a stop! read more

Everything that came by us on the way to other tables looked better than the plate preceding it! Huge portions of very well laid out food. We had the hummus appetizer which was out of this world. Had I not ordered a beer I would have taken them up on their Reese's Peanut butter cup pancakes. Next time for sure. Pulled pork was the choice and it was great. I could have used something sweeter on the corn bread bun to have sent this through the roof, but as it was was still excellent. Great meal and a great vibe. read more

This place came highly recommended for breakfast so I checked it out my first weekend in town. First I would like to say it was really good... just not as phenomenal as advertised, but how many places really live up to their billing. The special for the day was an orange creamsicle stuffed french toast that sound amazing... amazingly sweet, so I went with the sausage poblano biscuits and gravy. It wasn't as flavorful as expected and the biscuit left a lot to be desired and they broke the cardinal rule of cooking potatoes... NEVER UNDERCOOK THE POTATOES!!! Now the eggs were absolutely perfect. I'm not sure where they source them from but they had to be very fresh. The eggs may have had more flavor than the gravy. I will definitely chalk this up to a not so perfect experience... they happen a lot more when dining alone and return again once my family joins me in another month. I will also recommend it to friends, but I will be sure to downplay it a bit. read more

Honestly, I was a little disappointed in two previous evening dinners here. So they had to earn their five stars with me today. But, my wife said I should try the brunch. What a difference! My wife had the Eggs Benedict, which she liked, though the muffin was bit tough to cut. When our waitress, Renee, told us about a special steak omelet, it sounded really good, so I had to try it. This was one of the best omelets I have ever eaten! It had lots and lots of sweet, spicy, fajita-style chunks of marinated steak with tender red and green peppers and onions. Whoever cooked it really knows how to put together an omelet because the eggs and casing were cooked to perfection. The insides were savory, juicy and absolutely delicious. It came with home fries and an English muffin. I hope TPG will eventually make this part of their regular menu, because I would certainly come back for it again. Renee provided us great service and she gave us a wonderful, romantic table by the window overlooking Main Street. read more

I enjoyed my breakfast here, but if I have one major gripe with breakfast joints is drastically over portioning, which is certainly what you get here. An order of blueberry pancakes is another for 2-3 people. French toast, eggs, and plenty of the other dishes ordered by our party were big as well. It put me at ease as I thought they were a little bit overpriced, but it made the portions make sense. I'm a big guy with a big appetite but it put me off a bit. The pancakes themselves were OK, nothing special, and the blueberries lacked any substantial flavor. For whatever reason I've noticed that every restaurant in town has had blueberries and none of them removed the stems - which I don't understand. Also ordered sausage patties, which were good, and had a delicious double espresso. I would give them another chance if the opportunity ever presented itself, but was a little disappointed. But I had a good time on the patio with some friends. read more

After hearing so much about their stuffed french toast, I had to come and try it out myself. I had a side order of side french toast supreme. I was definitely a little hesistant after I ordered it because i was afraid it was going to be sickening sweet, but so glad it wasn't! The maple butter was delicious, the cheese filling was light and overall, best french toast i've ever had!! My friend and brother-in-law both ordered the BLT and it was huge! My friend also ordered a side of their pumpkin pancake with cinnamon butter and it tasted exactly like pumpkin pie. This place definitely gets packed, but totally worth the wait. read more

It seemed promising until we waited 20+ minutes before even being asked for drinks. This was compounded by the fact that 2-3 tables were seated after us and ordered/received their drinks. Long long wait - over 1.5 hours to be seated with a party of four. Holiday weekend was expecting abut of a wait. But disappointed in that the restaurant prefers larger groups - since parties of 6 or more are accommodated before smaller groups. Seated in the direct sun - cooking in the outdoor seating area until our server was asked to move an umbrella near our table which was done immediately. Our server Derek was great! We pulled in while touring the area. It's a quaint villages and some have views of the water and some do not. We needed a dog friendly place and here they had a separate garden entrance for dog people. We still felt part of the dining experience while surrounded by shade loving hostas. No umbrella needed! Broccoli and cheese soup with a grilled cheese was delicious. The corned beef was very good. It was not overly stuffed with corned beef. Actually not sliced corned beef but chopped up which might be a more dainty way to serve it . Tasty dressing and slaw. Nice atmosphere and an attentive staff. read more

A short drive from where we were staying, Henderson Harbor, we called ahead and made a dinner reservation for 4. They even called us a few minutes early to tell us our table was ready. This place was packed and it was Sunday nite, Labor Day weekend. The Zebra Mussels were performing this evening and played a nice mix of music. They also had trivia night hosted by the restaurant owner. The ambiance was lovely outside; the interior of the restaurant is small but nice. We all enjoyed our meals. My friends had the scallops w sweet potato crabcake and the Gouda Mac and cheese. I had the fried portobello w provolone cheese and green salad; was also good. Dessert and espresso. read more

My husband and I decided to stop by here this past Saturday evening based on a recommendation. We waltzed up to the hostess sand, clad in running shorts and assorted beach gear, and the hostess greeted us warmly and seated us at a high top table without so much as a bat of the eye. The high top tables are perfect for people watching, but if you are planning on a special occasion dinner, there are a couple of tables in secluded alcoves around the patio. We enjoyed our delicious goat cheese-stuffed meatball appetizer and drinks. Please note: the strawberry mojito goes down quite easily--which is a blessing but could very well be a curse! Our dinner was so delicious that we came back for breakfast the next day. For breakfast the next morning, we hardly had to wait since it was only the two of us, but I would definitely advise that you build in some wait time to your plans. I enjoyed the light-yet-filling lemon ricotta pancakes. My favorite part of that dish was the crispy outer edge of each pancake--it reminded me a bit of a lemon meringue pie. The only nit: I would have loved just a little more lemon curd, so you may want to ask for some on the side. read more

Where do I start? My family and I have been avid Tin Pan goers for years. If you would've asked me yesterday where the best place to buy a delicious, gourmet meal is, the answer would've been tin pan. However, after my experience there tonight, I say don't waste your time or money going here. The food and service were atrocious - likely the worst food and customer service we have ever experienced. My family and I waited 3 hours before being served our food, which was lukewarm and very poor quality both in taste and presentation. Additionally, our appetizers were burnt and our salads were saugy, lacking any of the typical toppings, and contained old lettuce. AND Over the course of our 3 hours spent there, we were never once offered a refill of water. Now, we are reasonable people. We understand that if an establishment is understaffed and/or busy that the service will likely be slower and perhaps lower quality. There were 5 other tables and several servers. The staff never once communicated that they were understaffed in the kitchen until AFTER our food was served and we had been waiting. They should be ashamed of themselves to charge their customers so much for so little quality. I'm saddened to say, we will not be returning. read more

An excellent choice for breakfast in downtown Sackets Harbor. I have eaten here a couple of times now, food is excellent with service to match. We ate outside on the patio this time and had French toast with strawberry rhubarb sauce and huevos rancheros. While we waited, a separate waiter regularly circled the patio making sure everyone's coffee stayed full and hot. When the meal came, it not only looked great but tasted great as well. Tip: Be sure to arrive before 8am to avoid the wait. Even then though, it's worth it. read more

Oh my gawdddddddd. I have no words for how good it was, but I'll do my best to try. The food was just over the top delicious and I have NO critiques other than I wish I didn't have to wait to go back again. I got the NY eggs benedict and my husband got a beef brisket benedict special that he would not stop talking about. Pretty sure I told him to shut it after a while. We also couldn't decide between sweet or savory so we ordered the single order side of the stuffed french to share. Definitely my favorite and it will be what I order next time. Considering how much is stuffed in there, it's not sicky sweet at all. The cream cheese and ricotta filling is just perfect with the strawberries. OMG, now I want to go back just talking about it again. read more

Where should I start......... this place used to be my family's favorite place as we have been going there for NUMEROUS years. They have made some changes to their staff for the worse. The heartbeat of the staff no longer works behind the bar! And did they get a new Chef (or should I say cook) ? This specific occasion we left early because we couldn't get a balanced cocktail nor did we get the appetizer's we ordered. Isn't that the procedure........ you order food. The chef (in this case cook) makes it and someone delivers it to the customer. Long long long story short please do yourself a favor and go to the Barracks. Ask for Stephanie behind the bar. She is amazing. Sorry for your loss Tin Pan. Truly sad to see the direction this restaurant has gone. No wonder no one can make a deal in the purchase of this used to be gem. read more

First time I came here, it took them forever to seat us, we finally got to order at 11:30am and they refused to serve us breakfast because they transitioned to lunch at that point. Second time I came here, we decided to sit at the bar so we would actually get seats. Bar was absolutely covered in bees cause they left so much syrup and dirty plates out. My food was just OK, could make better at home. Service was slow and the bartender was rude. My husband's french toast was good. Third time we came for Mother's Day breakfast (today). I'd called them and asked if they take reservations, the person answering the phone was confused so they handed the phone off with no transition. The lady who then answered with "what is it?" gave such a bad attitude! It was almost funny. Almost. They said they only take lunch and dinner reservations and that it starts at 5pm. Ok, fine. We got here at 8am, was told there's a 1.5 hr wait. Decided to wait. Came in at 10am, they told us 30 more minutes. Came back and they told us it will take another 30-60 minutes. I understand that these are just estimates, but how can you be off by almost two whole hours? Avoid this place unless you like to wait for hours for bad service and mediocre food. read more

What happened?? This was my one solid good place to eat in the area and now seems overpriced and sad. Ordered my fave waffles with fresh strawberries and strawberries were mushy thawed frozen ones with funky taste. I had to scrape them off the waffle. Orange juice tasted like the Donald Duck OJ they only use for making mixed drinks. Husbands huevos rancheros also not up to par. I know it was the end of season but maybe a reduced menu which is still high quality would be better. Now I am scared to come back. :( Hope this was just an end of season glitch. read more

My husband and I just had an amazing meal. We started with the fried goat cheese and rosemary appetizer. It was delicious. A large lightly dusted goat cheese round with a mildly spiced tomato sauce and toasted crostini. Wonderful. I had the large serving of the sea scallops. 5 larges scallops, perfectly cooked served with 2 sweet potato fritters with chunks of lobster in them. I loved this meal and combination. My husband had the steak special. Superb! Perfectly cooked (medium rare) with asparagus and mushroom risotto. So good! It was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Our server MacKenzie was excellent - attentive, personable, and a true delight. We had a great conversation with Renee Palermo, the manager, who was also very attentive, ensuring we were having a great experience and we enjoyed talking to her very much. She truly is focused on taking care of her customers. We were even able to speak with the chef. I think it is great when a chef can take a few quick minutes to see the customers. Thank you - chef, you are very talented. Lastly , we enjoyed the live entertainment by a gentleman who sang classic vocal hits. I had two dinners here as a groups of 4, one on Saturday, July 16, 2022 and one on Sunday, August 28, 2022. My score: Ambiance 9/10 Live Music 10/10 Food 6/10 at best Service - First Time 8/10 - Second 4/10 Wine Availability - First Time 8/10 - Second Time 0/10 What is wrong with TPG now? 1. On the second visit we we warned "select a back up wine in case we don't have the first wine". We had to go through 4 red wine and 6 white wine requests before wine was found in stock. The white was descent and the red we settled on was pretty weak. The restaurant claimed it was "supply issues". TBH I did not believe that for an instant. I believe it's the end of the season and for liquidity reasons they were not buying wine inventory. That's a fail. Either you are open or not. When spending $350 for four for dinner wine should be available. They could have either advised for the "logistics" issue in advance and I would have brought wine and paid corkage (which I understood after the fact they offered) or they could know their inventory and not have serving staff off the dining floor looking for wine for 40 minutes resulting in poor service. What they could not do with any credibility is hunt for wines and fail to serve in a timely fashion. It was not the server's fault. The owner / manager needs to smarten up. 2. Every dish with a sauce is drowning in the sauce to the point we're one would think they used a ladle. It kills the presentation of food, makes it a sloppy mess and generally is not in line with any descent culinary standard. The veal special was not hammered enough. It was thick, chewy and slightly undercooked. Because we had guests sending food back (especially because of the wine hunt delay) was not an option. The meal was just not worth it or up to par. This restaurant needs its old owner back or new professional management. It feels like it's being run on an historic reputation it is quickly burning through. If there were a choice in Sackets Harbour I would have walked out. read more
