Lobster Eggs Benedict
Ryan B.

Visited Sackets Harbor NY and oh my, my family and I were blown away by this place. Came for breakfast on Friday morning and then came back Sunday morning because it was so good. A small place with a great ascetic on the inside. Service was excellent, our first server Kevin recognized us when we came back on Sunday and talked to us like we were friends. The place feels very welcoming. The lobster eggs Benedict (which was a special) is probably one of the best breakfast meals I've ever had. But that wasn't all I tried. Amongst the family we tried each others dishes. Their stuffed French toast was Amazing! Their sausage gravy tasted like no other! It's definitely a must hit spot if in your in the area. My family and I will be back!

Such a hidden gem! One of my favorite places to go in Sackets Harbor. I have heard so many great things about this place so when my sister was in town we decided to go. We decided to come for breakfast on Sunday. They open pretty early around 8am. We came around 10am and the early breakfast rush had slow down. They were quite busy but we got seated right away. It's a cute spot and they have a good amount of seating for customers to dine in. I believe they have a outside seating area as well. The service was great, our server was very attentive and our food came out pretty fast. I got the TPG French toast, it comes with 3 slices of toast with powered sugar and butter. I got scrambled eggs on the side. My sister got the southern eggs benedict which comes with Slow roasted pulled pork that was served on housemade biscuits, topped with poached eggs, and my sister got sides of potatoes. WOW, the portion were big and the food was delicious. The French toast was perfect it wasn't over dipped, and the texture was amazing. Great flavors. I am not a big fan of eggs benedict but wow, the combination of the egg biscuit, pork was a perfect combination. I couldn't stop eating. The french toast and the southern egg Benedict was sweet and savory. I would love to try the other menu options they have. I would definitely be coming back.

My wife and son visited about a year ago, and raved about the place, so when we were back in town, it was easy to convince me to come along. Service was friendly and attentive; the place being mostly empty (on a Friday in mid-April) helping I'm sure. I had the creme brulee french toast, and it was exquisite; the challah bread was flavorful and moist but didn't fall apart on me. A huge plate, and I couldn't not eat them all. The home fries I ordered on the side were well-crisped, but not very flavorful. The hot chai latte was amazing. Everyone else's food and drink were similarly delightful. The only hiccup was the WiFi. The restaurant has implemented some sort of elaborate one-off voucher for guests that ask about the password, good for two hours. Which would have been clumsy enough, but we got one for the table and it turned out it was good for only one person (based on our trying it out). We didn't push the staff to figure it out for us (it really wasn't a critical thing for us), but it felt unnecessarily complicated and non-service-oriented. But aside from that, it was all good. So, yeah, we'll be back, though I understand the place can get pretty crowded during tourist season. It will be worth a bit of wait to get in.

Breakfast chimichanga

10 years ago I had the Tin Pan Galley breakfast chimichanga and it was one of my top 5 most delicious breakfasts of all time. Finding myself in the area again I decided to go. It wasn't quite as flaky and crispy and my first one but it was still pretty good. The adorable patio area makes everything a little more delightful though. They had a pancake special that morning, orange creamsicle, but we had already each decided on a different order. We noticed on the menu that we could order a singular pancake for a lesser charge, so we asked if we could do that with the creamsicle pancake too, and share it. The answer was yes, and we were so glad it was, because that pancake was so tasty! It came with a thick maple orange sauce that was everything. I wish we lived closer because we would be regular brunch customers if we did. Love you, TPG.

BEAUTIFUL PATIO TO ENJOY GREAT BRUNCH ==================================== We just so happened to park right in front of this eye catching restaurant. It looked popular, so we decided to stay for brunch. My son ordered the haddock sandwich and he devoured every last bite. I had the veggie omelette and that was very good. The home fries are amazing. My husband was very happy with the cheeseburger. They have a nice bar and the beverages looked really popular. The patio is absolutely beautiful with the ivy growing on the side of the building. There's beautiful hanging baskets of flowers along the street. I felt like I was in Bath in the UK or something.

I don't need to say much about Tin Pan Galley. The ambiance and food speak for themselves. What a treat! The Reuben Omelette was huge and delish. Lots of corned beef, cheese and 1000 Island Dressing. Moist and lots of flavor I am embarrassed to say I do not remember the pancake my daughter got but it was also huge and she loved it. Might've been some kind of crem brule pancake. Must be the 2 bloody Mary's I had. Every trip here is an adventure! A very good adventure.

Partner and I stopped by this restaurant for dinner in Sacketts Harbor during Labor Day weekend (Sunday) and were pleasantly surprised.  Didn't realize they had live music...Andy Taylor, the master musician, was playing pop songs from the 50's to current day. We started off with a caesar salad and a mushroom arancini special, which were great 1st courses.  Then we shared the lobster mac and cheese (which was delicious and loaded with lobster) and the sea scallops (which were very good and came atop a lobster sweet potato cake that was very tasty).  The portions are on the above average size for some dishes, so you're getting great value in some of the dishes.  Add in the live music and you will get your money's worth!

Lobster roll and pasta salad

We have been coming to Tin Pan Gallery every summer for the past 5 years. It has always been a highlight of the trip--the lobster roll is fantastic and the outside seating is gorgeous! Unfortunately, at our last visit 8.5.23, it was a complete and utter let down. The service was terrible. No one wanted to help and we kept asking for help but would just be bounced to someone else. For context, we waited over an hour before someone would take our order despite tables around us having a server. I think with stronger management and a cultural shift of focusing on service, things could turn around. I have 10+ years experience in the service industry working as a server, bartender, Asst. Manager, and as head trainer responsible for training new staff and opening new restaurants so I know how difficult it can be when there's no support from management (and Saturday brunch is always bananas). Some quick wins include: -Pre-batch mimosas to save time - Set up garnish tray so servers dress their drinks (orange slices on mimosas, olives for martinis, etc.) -food runners pre-bus -water and coffee runners (maybe even self serve coffee and water stations) -no bar seating until after 11am (seemed to be manageable at this time) It is such a shame because the food is still absolutely delicious. In the end, the lobster roll was worth the wait; but hopefully next time, that wait is 25 minutes not 90. Also, I would be remiss to not mention Ariana, who should be promoted to management. She helped restore my faith in Tin Pan Galley.

Upon entering we found a really cute place with tables and some bar seating. It has a cute and casual atmosphere with popular songs playing but in blue grass style. It wasn't busy because they just opened for the day so we were seated immediately. We were happy to see they carried beer from Wayland, a local brewery from our area. We ordered drinks and food and it came out quickly. Our server was attentive and was able to speak to all our menu questions to ensure we got what we needed. I ordered a class of Pinot Grigio and the Martha salad with grilled chicken. It was absolutely delicious, very flavorful and tasty. The cilantro and dates were a nice add on to a salad. The dates were a nice sweet contrast to the salty goat cheese. I was impressed that they had a lot of healthy and gf options that were wonderful and didn't feel like an afterthought on the menu. I am told the blackstrap bbq chicken sandwich was wonderful. The chicken and onion straws were nice and crispy. The bbq sauce wasn't overpowering but added a nice addition to the sandwich. The onion ring on top was a huge bonus and the fries were perfection, possibly the star of the show. I'd highly recommend if you are in the area. We hope to be able to come back another time soon.

A good sign though for a new place to eat. I like to always first and foremost acknowledge good service. The Waypoint staff we interacted with were great. Caleb, the host, was very personable and, thought outside the box to accommodate us during a time where this place was very busy and the kitchen was playing catch-up. Also our server Cory was helpful and honest about menu options and her opinion. She was serving several tables at the same time and was still attentive. Kudos to Cory. We came here for the seafood options we saw on their menu through their Facebook page. $22.95 for 1lb of crab legs we felt was a great deal. The crab legs were listed in the starters section of the menu and were served as such. No sides like an entreé. They were cooked just right meaning when you went to crack open a leg it still snapped, it wasn't rubbery. Meat inside came right out and, was juicy and not dry. Next came the little neck clams. Sold by the dozen and, we ordered 3 dozen for our table of 4. Clams were fine and steamed just right. The cup of butter sauce was good. It had garlic and a hint of lemon. Unfortunately they did not have any hot sauce which is how we like to enjoy our clams. Hopefully they will offer hot sauce soon. A unique item on the menu in the Starters section is the Heron Fries. Circle cut potatoes fried like fries. They came with small cups of gravy and bleu cheese. The gravy was just ok to me. The bleu cheese was very chunky. It's not my bag but that's a personal choice. It did have a great flavor that everyone at the enjoyed along with the big chunks. . Being a native of Buffalo, NY, I consider myself a bleu cheese connoisseur. I enjoyed this starter very much especially because off the circle fries. Last two items were tasty and enjoyed by all at the table. Mussels and fried cheese curds. Mussels were a nice size and the butter garlic sauce went well with them. Cheese curds came with a sweet and spicy jam. We also asked for a side of marinara sauce. Curds and sauces were a hit enjoyed by all. The prices for all of the seafood items were very reasonable in my opinion and, all perfectly cooked That alone is reason to come back. Now add the good service and you have a a new regular spot to dine in chaumont.
