Held a private party here and the food, drinks and staff were great. The guitarist they recommended was great too.

What a fun night! Came here with a couple of girlfriends. Started at the little lounge area, but…read moresoon took the party to the bar when we ran into another yelpie! Don't let the outside of this place fool you because looks are definitely deceiving. We were cautious coming to this place due to the appearance of the outside, but once we were in it was so much fun. Agus, aka rawbartender, was Ah-mazing and truly made the night fun. He was truly such a vibe!! I ordered the SpongeBob, which was Goslings rum, pineapple spice, ginger, lime, angostura bitters. Especially with the show that was put on, my drink tasted even better. It was a Smokey, yet smooth and refreshing drink! We also got the Snow White, on the sweeter side made with Pear vodka, orgeat, pear juice, lemon juice, cinnamon. And of course, we can't forget our schooling in tequila and Mezcal from Agus. He was very informative of what he was serving and we tried a few different shots. He gave us the rundown of how you're actually supposed to taste tequila. And I have to say I've never had an experience like that before. I wish the party didn't stop and I will definitely be coming back specifically for Agus and of course the drinks!

The code to enter is updated daily on the website , once inside the you enter through the bookcase door. The ambiance is nice cozy , low -moderate lighting ( not to dim ..you can still read the menus without a flashlight... which is nice) We sat at the bar and the seats were very nice and comfortable ( which I enjoyed a lot) and spacious I didn't feel squeezed between chairs/people ! The bartender was fabulous . And made great drinks ! We just got drinks I got the peaches peaches which was pleasantly really good not to sweat or bitter , not to overpowering with peach flavour very well balanced . They also offer small bites / food. I will def be back to try some more options !

The space is vibrant, with high ceilings and comfy quilted bar stools. I got their charcuterie board which had some tasty cheeses, salami and delicious prosciutto, etc. I also got their horchata, which I never had before, and it was very tasty. This is a Mexican, rice drink flavored with cinnamon, I really enjoyed. They have fun music playing here. My next time at The Industrial, I got their Mary Y Sol and my friend got the New Brit. I really enjoyed Mary Y Sol, its a subtle sweet rum, cocktail, sweetened with pineapple and coconut. It's a very different type of sweet. I really enjoyed this one. The New Brit was also great but the Bourbon base was too strong. As much as I like their vibe and their craft here, the service is lacking. I asked for water three times, and it never came. It also wasn't particularly busy. This is a huge turn off, especially for a brand new place. This is a beautiful space, that's bringing new attention to Downtown New Britain. I wish the bartender was a bit more attentive, a little smile never killed anyone. This a new place worth checking out, but their service could use a little attention.

For the price we paid, we were definitely disappointed. The tamale was essentially all dough and barely any chicken... and the fondue that was supposed to come out with artisan bread and fresh vegetables came out with crackers and basically all broccoli. The ratio of cheese wasn't even enough for us to dip everything that it came with. The cheese itself wasn't bad, but the broccoli had some dark spots and didn't seem the freshest. We were curious about the chocolate fondue, but after not being happy with our lunch, we decided against it.

We immediately felt welcomed as we walked in to the dimly lit but inviting ambiance of the bar. The drinks were made by India. She even inquired on how we prefer our drinks, more sweet or or strong, which was nice. Usually you just get what you get. She made sure we were happy with our drinks and she served our food as well. Very personable and driven to make sure we were pleased. The food was great! We got there in time for happy hour, my favorite!!! We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, the best we've ever had! I actually don't care for them, but this chef changed my mind! We ordered a plethora of wings; Garlic Parmesan, Peach Habanero and Sweet Chili Thai Wings, all of which were big, not dry, and perfectly glazed. We also ordered the Goat Burgers that we had to bring home. The kids scored those! Plating was to perfection and definitely impressive. We will definitely be back with family and friends! Give them a try, you won be disappointed!

Went to Elmer's for the first time since graduating in 2014, and I was surprised to see the place…read morehad doubled in size since I had last visited. A package store that occupied the building with Elmer's closed and the bar was able to expand into that space, allowing for a much greater occupancy and less of a claustrophobic feeling on busy nights that hurt the bar pre-expansion. I went on a Thursday night, which is the Elmer's busiest night (I'm assuming since it's the unofficial start of the weekend for most CCSU students), and what would have been a crowded mess before was a lot more manageable with essentially twice the room as before. Thursday night specials included $3 Fireball shots (again - college bar), and $3 mini pitchers, which yielded roughly 4 glasses each. Very cheap and perfect for the cash-strapped college crowd. Since it is the only bar within walking distance of the CCSU campus that I know of, and located very close to the school's highway on/off ramps, Elmer's should never be hurting for business, at least while school is in session. Come winter or summer breaks, however, I could see the Elmer's being pretty dead, since most of the surrounding area is populated by the CCSU campus and students who live in the cheap apartments across the street.

Super Friendly staff, good food&drinks , I always have a fun time when I go , I love Elmer'sread more
