The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I didn't get to try the food but the sandwich's look amazing and large portions. The customers that came were previously playing golf or just came in for happy hour during my hours I was there. It was a very hot day and the golfers came in after their game for a quick cold one.

It was rich and flavorful. I was in the mood for a grinder, so I went with the Philly cheesesteak. It was packed, delicious, and super satisfying. I've heard their pizza is a must-try, so I'm already planning my next visit to give that a shot. The Gold BBQ wings were my favorite--crispy, sticky, and packed with flavor. They had the perfect balance of sweet, smoky, and tangy without being overpowering. The Buffalo wings were excellent too, with a classic sauce that had just the right amount of heat and a great buttery finish. The wings came out crispy even after being sauced, which is harder to do than most places make it look. Service was friendly, the atmosphere felt like a classic neighborhood tavern, and you can tell they've been doing this for a long time. If you're anywhere near Plainville and like wings, this place is definitely worth the stop. I'll be thinking about those Gold BBQ wings for a while.

After I finally got my food I had to wait additionally to ask for condiments and waited 10 minutes after asking the bartender if I could close my card while others who came after me both ordered more drinks and paid first. The bartenders did offer us a drink on the house to try to help, though when I finally got my food it was 10pm. I probably would not order food again. They were also out of all ciders . Unfortunately, the overall experience has gone downhill. During our most recent visit, the bartender called me names, and the owner's son -- who was clearly intoxicated -- was extremely rude. Mind you, we are very generous tippers and have been coming here for over 10 years. When we were cashing out we heard the bartender say "I'm going to charge her card for a 20% tip" It was disappointing and uncomfortable to say the least. It's also very concerning how often visibly intoxicated customers are overserved and then allowed to drive away. It doesn't feel safe or responsible.
