Came here for the fried chicken, stayed for the breakfast! Dinner plans were derailed so boyfriend and I decided to give this place a whirl and oh boy, are we ever glad we did!! The dining area has a fun vibe with a train chugging overhead. Service was spot on and super friendly. The food. Oh my god the food! Hands down the best fried chicken I've ever had. The Mac and cheese was ooey-gooey noodley goodness. Coleslaw as delicious and served with a giant warm buttermilk biscuit? Yes please! It was soooo good I forgot to get photos (will remedy!). Today we came for the other (breakfast) menu. I got the ham and eggs and boyfriend got the hobo hash. Holy portions, Batman! Well you can see the photos! I have heard nothing but good things about this place so I brought my wife and father in law in after a 25 minute drive today, and we were all ready to eat. We checked in and were told 5-10 min wait. After 25 minutes outside in the cold, I had to go in and ask where we were at and stood there for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. They then cleaned off a table that was empty since before we arrived and seated us. 20 minutes after that we were still waiting for someone to take our order while watching families who arrived after us get served first. They finally came and took our order at this point we were more than a little cranky. 20 minutes later the food came which was decent. But the lack of service turned us off to ever returning. read more

My friend Mary and I went to Tim's Kitchen today. The service was wonderful and the decor was cool. The restaurant had a Train theme with a model train running around the ceiling perimeter of the room. As for our lunch, we both ordered a Blue Cheese Burger. The burger was over done for me and Mary. We both ordered ours medium. It was not. It was a little dry too. Mary ordered the soup and said it was very good, much better than the burger! I order onion rings for my side. They we crisp and good. The waiter said that this Tim's Kitchen had just opened 3 weeks ago. I will give it another chance. I will be back! read more

Went for brunch. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken on a Biscuit (with Country Gravy!) and husband had an omelet. First bite of that chicken... OMG ... I cut a snip and shoved it at my husband, "YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS!". He rolled his eyes and huffed, "I have my own breakfast! ..... oh....that IS GOOD!". I secured my plate, because, yah, GOOD! Breading was seasoned and crispy, chicken was hot and juicy, gravy was fantastic and the homemade buttermilk biscuit .... WOW! Hash browns were also fine. I was busy communing with my chicken fried chicken but husband said his omelet was tasty, generous with meat and not at all greasy. Everything was well seasoned without being dredged in salt. BAD SERVICE. AWFUL OWNER. PREPARE TO WAIT ALMOST TWO HOURS OR MORE ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A MINORITY. This is a shame because my family and I have been at this location a handful of times these past two years and enjoyed our experience. However, this time for breakfast we waited for almost two hours. I inquired once about why our table didn't get our breakfast and nothing was still said or done. Finally, when my husband inquired they said oh we'll start your order now. So we sat there this whole time and our order was NEVER started. This is a frustrating experience because we had a large party of seven and there were other large parties that were served before us and even finished before us. On an other note, all other families who were served there were WHITE!! We are an Asian American family and the ONLY minority family in the whole restaurant. So take in consideration of that before coming because we will NEVER COME TO THIS RESTAURANT OR ANY OTHER CHAIN OF TIM'S EVER AGAIN!!!! We walked out! What a shame TIM!!! DO BETTER!!! One of the best places that the wife and I have been to in awhile. We arrived with 3 other couples in the early Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of room. Service was fast and very friendly. Drink refills were fast. Everyone ordered something different and I heard no complaints from any of them. I ordered the chicken basket and was asked " what 2 pieces do you want"? Where do I begin. We moved here in February and was recommended to try Tim's kitchen. I have to say I was very pleased with our food. My favorite so far is fried asparagus with their lemon aioli. You will also have to try there fried chicken. They hand make there deep fried food and you can't go wrong with that. I am happy you guys are back in business after a fire. The first time we came we really enjoyed. I believe the owner waited on us. Today not so great. First of all, it would really help if the young man that waited on us had smiled and been somewhat enthusiastic. . Asked for hash browns to be well browned on both sides. Either the kitchen didn't listen or he did not relay that to the kitchen. I don't know when hash browns rehydrated potatoes set on a grill colored on one side and barely warmed through but that seems to be everywhere these days. Has to ask for jam for toast. Not too quick on coffee refills. It was t busy or I could understand. I don't know if our server having an off day... the other server seemed very upbeat and smiled Also not sure we were charged correctly for senior meal but we had waited long enough for bill that I didn't want to figure it out. We would like to come back and try the salad bar. UPDATE. We returned for dinner. Had same waiter. He was much more personable. Thinking we might have caught him on an off day last time we were in. The food we have tried has been excellent. The salad bar is very sufficient and priced well. First time here, seen that Tim's had many good reviews. We came with our kids, thinking it would be a good spot, also came for late lunch 2pm just so we could avoid the crowd that I have been hearing about. We where seated with only kids menu's, we waited awhile for adult menu's and had to ask for them, we ordered simple items burgers, and Mac and cheese. We waited nearly 30 min for food to come out, waitress never checked on us and never refilled out drinks in that time. Food didn't come out together, we waited an extra 5 min for the hot dog plate to come out. Noticed 3 of the 4 servers where on their phone, including ours for long periods of time. Would say when the food did came out it was good. Waitress never really checked on us again until time to pay. read more
