Sangria

Came to celebrate a Bachelorette and loved everything about Times Ten Cellars! The staff were incredibly helpful, attentive and sweet. The wine was so delicious. I recommend the Sangria! It is made in house & tastes incredible. If you like sweet wines, I also recommend the Tres Dulces Wine Flight. The ambiance was great with amazing seating and lighting. It is charming and inviting, great for a private party or a weekend hangout.

Visited here from out of town for a friend's birthday. There were quite a few of us being hosted in the Barrel Room. Close friends were allowed to decorate the area and we had lots of photo opportunities to document the special memory for our friend. Each of us oredered various menu items and all participated in the tasting. I ordered the meatballs and they were absolutely delicious. The tasting was similar to any other wine tasting, but we were a chatty group and I believe the staff showed how displeased he was on more than a few occasions simply in tone and body language. He was able to recover toward the end of the evening and asked the birthdaygl girl for a dance. Most exciting moment of the experience. Overall a very chill winery with some unique decorating. Would visit again if ever in town.

Okay I had never even heard of this place until one of my friends suggested we go here! The vibes were immaculate. Seriously this is the perfect first date spot. All of the food was amazing and our waitress had great wine suggestions. The overall feeling was cozy. I want to come back when it cools down to try out their patio! The spinach artichoke dip is to die for. And basically all of the flatbreads are fantastic.

Great ambiance and great value for the experience. Can't recommend it enough. Varied selection and great shareable bites. Tried the flight of fancy and was throughly impressed. The petit verdot is amazing and a staple of this institution. Great staff and very attentive. Even let me try two wines to help me decide.

The Blend X GSM was spot on with both flavor and complexity.

Really love the night ambience and setup of this winery. Very relaxed setting, plenty of seating, and versatile enough for either large gatherings or a more intimate setting for dates, small groups, or even if you're flying solo. It has the laid back vibe of a go-to neighborhood spot where all the locals meet. Wine selections are diverse enough to suit all taste palettes. And as a novice wine drinker who's eager and enthusiastic to learn, not only did I receive great service, but as a bonus received valuable insight and knowledge from Michael the sommelier with regards to the intricate details of understanding wine and what to look for when distinguishing the grapes and what they yield. The Petite Petit is a winner! I will indeed visit more frequently.

Came here for a girls night and had a great time. The space is large and they have several separate rooms to choose from. There is additionally a private space that can be reserved for private events. I had the tempranillo/cab and the flight of fancy - so if you like dry, red wines, this is for you! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the service was a bit of a miss. We had to wait and ask for more drinks as well as the check, which isn't the biggest deal at all, and I can imagine they were low on waitstaff as there was a private event being held next door. Would definitely still come back again, though!

Nice place to chill and talk amongst friends. We had a glass of wine here however no food. They do offer boards and other great light bites to go with your wine. Open seating so you are able to stroll on in and get a nice spot sit back and relax with the darker ambience inside.

A friend won an outing here and invited a few of her friends and family for a wine tasting. The wines that we sampled were white and reds, and the lady seemed a little bit knowledgeable on the wines. The charcuterie boards were a nice touch and nicely done. The Italian sausage and pepperoni flatbread was really good. We were in one of the private rooms, and the overall set up is modern. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

The staff is not really friendly but the vibes were still peaceful. Mushroom grilled cheese: This was so yummmy!! The bread comes perfectly crispy and buttery. There were tons of mushrooms and creamy flavor. By far one of the best grilled cheeses I ever had. Banana horchata matcha: This drink was very sweet and good for people that dont like bitter drinks. I loved the banana flavor and it reminded me of banana bread. There was also a lot of cinnamon in the drink which made it so tasty.

We celebrated our anniversary yesterday by going to one of our favorite places in Dallas. St…read more Martin's Wine Bistro is a life changing dining experience! Because yesterday was also Anthony Bourdain day, we celebrated by trying a food we had never tried before: Steak Tartare! Oh. My. God. It was luscious and divine. We enjoyed the Shrimp St. Martin-poached shrimp in a delectable beurre-blanc sauce. Of course, we had to share a bowl of my love language: Champagne and Brie Soup. There aren't words for the moment you sip your first taste. Your eyes roll into the back of your head as you savor the explosion of flavor. For entrees, I had the Sole Meunière. Seared perfectly in butter and the only place outside of France that has done this fish justice. James had the Scallops and Pork Belly. It was a new spin on surf and turf. Judging by how little he spoke to me during his meal, I am assuming it was fabulous. He did give me a bite and the scallop was prepared perfectly and was probably the best scallop that I've had in DFW. The restaurant sent us over 2 glasses of house-made bourbon crème for our anniversary. It was similar to Baileys, but on steroids. For dessert, we walked back over to the bar for after dinner drinks. James enjoyed a glass of Abelour Scotch neat. It's his favorite as it's not peaty at all. Jamie, the bartender, made me the best espresso martini that I've ever had! Fresh espresso mixed with espresso liqueur, reposado tequila and bourbon cream. She hit the top with flame to settle the bubbles in order to add espresso beans. Honestly, it was the best meal that I've had outside of France.

It's dark, moody, and effortlessly romantic, with a live pianist playing throughout the evening. It's the kind of place that feels intimate without being stuffy, perfect for a date night. The service was honestly some of the best I've had in Dallas. My water never dropped below two sips from full, the team was that attentive. It became amusing (in the best way) how on top of everything they were. Our waiter, Rene, was outstanding. He provided stellar recommendations from starters to entrées, drinks, and desserts. I trusted him enough to let him choose my glass of wine to follow my cocktail, and he nailed it. He also walked us through the menu in detail, which was incredibly helpful as first-time guests. The food absolutely delivered: * Shrimp St. Martins - Five jumbo de-veined shrimp in a rich, butter-like sauce that was decadent without being overwhelming. * Frisée Aux Lardon Salad - Rene thoughtfully split this tableside and served it onto individual plates. The dressing leans heavily Dijon-forward, so order accordingly if you're not a mustard fan. That said, the bacon was some of the best I've ever had: thick, slightly sweet, and perfectly cooked. * Sea Bass Ratatouille - Served over a tomato sauce, it was flavorful, well-balanced, and not too heavy. * Rack of Lamb - An extremely generous portion (which I happily helped my date finish). It was boldly seasoned and on the saltier side, which I personally loved, though I understand that may not be for everyone. * Affogato - A simple but perfect way to close out the meal. Between the romantic atmosphere, top-tier service, and excellent food, this is easily one of the better dining experiences I've had in Dallas.

Waters Edge is a winery and a bistro - so you can come for drinks or a meal or both. We were told that they make all of the wines on their menu, of which there are dozens of wines on their menu. I've been to a few urban wineries before, and it's an interesting concept. Waters Edge buys grape must (crushed grapes) from around the world and then craft and bottle wines made from that must at their locations (this Dallas location is one of 15 across the country). Wanting to try a few of their wines, the four of us shared two flights of five wines each. We tried the Tour of Armenia and Alec's Flight (a rotating selection of wines by their winemaker). Did I like every wine? No. But I thought most of them were pretty good. Personally, I'm not sure they need to make this many wines; I'll always prefer a business that does ten things well than fifty things fine (the Cheesecake Factory rule). But most of the wines were pretty nice (of the 10 I tried, I wouldn't drink 3 or 4 but wouldn't mind drinking the rest again). I appreciated that many of their wines are Armenian style, because I haven't had much opportunity to try Armenian wines. We also ordered a few snacks - they have a full food menu. We shared their Deviled Egg of the Month (2 eggs - 4 halves) and their Cheese is Life Board (two cheeses, hot honey, giardiniera, and crispy flatbread), which were both good snacks. They've been open just under a year, but the place doesn't feel quite lived in yet. The dining room has a large room divider in it, set up like a bookshelf. It has books and card/trivia games about wine and more. But many of these items were still wrapped in plastic, making it feel a little impersonal. The service was good, and it's a comfortable place to spend a couple of hours! The food we had was pretty good. The wines in my opinion are just okay - probably not the spot to take a wine snob on a date. But they have a large variety of wines, so you're likely to find one or many that you like. Not a bad place to spend some time if you're in the neighborhood!
