Very excited they opened on the Eastside! Currently soft opening. Went on a Friday afternoon to try them out. I got the cream mango drink 30 percent sugar. It was refreshing and definitely not sweet enough so I think I can get more sugar next time. The matcha cake cup was pretty good! Lots of cream and very big so need to share. I liked the crepe cake too, there is quite a bit of cocoa powder dusted on top FYI. Currently they have 10 percent off first online order! read more

I placed my order from Hungry Panda and I chose self pickup. It was not ready when I arrived at the store. When I went in the store to pick it up, she said she would make it right away. During the process of making my order, the staff told her colleague that the pudding was bad (I think it was expired). I was standing in front of them at the time, and they didn't replace a new pudding for me. They put the bad one directly into my cup. I heard their conversation the whole time. After making my drink, they threw my order in front of me. Their attitude was extremely bad. I went home and drank two sips. It was very unpalatable. The pearls were as hard as rocks. The taste of pudding is indeed expired and I ordered half sugar, but they gave me sugar-free. I also bought two pieces of Durian Mille Crepe Cake some time ago. I took one bite and threw it away. It was so unpalatable that I don't know how to describe it. The quality control in their store is really poor. I have been to so many milk tea shops, and I feel that Timeless Tea is the worst in Seattle. I just saw a lot of negative reviews. The owner replied that their food is very fresh, but I want to say that what I saw in the store today is not what the owner said. Some of their desserts are placed on the dessert display cabinet (not in the refrigerator but at room temperature) (The Health Bureau requires that all food must be kept in the refrigerator to keep fresh, especially cakes and ice cream, and it is obvious that timeless tea did not do so). I am pretty sure that the desserts they put on the dessert display cabinet are not the positions for order pick up. And no staff has been taking care of them for a long time. .(This means that no one in the store ordered those desserts at the time. Even if the desserts were pre-ordered, shouldn't they be kept in the refrigerator to keep them fresh before the customer takes them away?) In this case, are they really fresh? The employees knew that the product was spoiled and expired, but still gave it to the customer. Is this what they call a fresh product? And the price is ridiculously expensive, and none of the quality control, hygiene, and service attitude are good. I really think the owner needs to suspend business retraining the employees and reorganize. read more

I had almost forgot this is the same place as the one half an hour drive away from me . Desserts are a tad pricey IMO and drinks are normal. We tried their egg yolk pastries, durian crepe cake and a couple drinks. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to get something for here and would honestly prefer to stop by the 85* bakery up the street for their crema drinks & bread! The watermelon fruit tea is really refreshing and keeping it at the regular sweetness is perfect for a warm sunny day. Their brown sugar fresh milk taste like straight up milk with boba, not much brown sugar in there. The peach gum milk tea is a no go... tastes like watered down tea with tasteless jelly. Get the watermelon fruit tea and skip the rest. The egg pastries a pretty dry and the durian crepe cake was underwhelming. read more

Underwhelming. Why is this place always "out"? If theyre never going to have the same menu as their other location, make a location specific menu and stop getring ny hopes up. Everytime I come here it's always something or another. As for the tea, it was just okay. It could be because theyre "out of red bean boba" (are you just out of it everytime i come or is it just not an option at all?) and the substitute altered the taste, but hey. I'll do myself a favor and stick with okra lemon or four seasons green tea everytime I come, god forbid they ever run out of green tea. read more

I love the decor in this place. The wall paper is covered in cats, and there are also cat plushes placed around the seats in the restaurant. The cups and straws also have cats on them! The menu itself is quite varied, so most anyone can probably find something that they want to drink. The drinks themselves are ok, but they also have some interesting desserts like super realistic pug mousse cakes or bunny cakes. read more

Bubble waffles take too long. I've never gotten a waffle faster than 15 minutes. Order ahead if you want to enjoy your boba WITH the waffle.

Taste of the bubble tea is fine. We got the Yellow milk tea which kinda tastes like oolong, pretty delicious. What I'm leaving a 2 star review for is because everything is premade beforehand and yet the price for a bubble tea with boba, the same kind you'd get at sharetea for the same size - cost $7.30 before tip. Imagine our surprise when we just saw them grab premade tea from a jug in the fridge, and pour it straight into the cup and served it to us. No clue how long the milk tea has been sitting there, when it was made. And the boba was hard. So basically, paying premium price for something you'd expect from a fancier bubble tea joint, but served premade tea straight from a jug with hard boba. I come here for their cakes. All are yummy but the taro is my favorite. The boba drinks are okay. The tapioca is not as soft as other places. One of my favorite boba stops anytime I'm in Seattle. The cafe is adorable with all the cats. Definitely a great place for a photo op. In addition to boba, they have cute desserts such as the dog shaped mousse. I love how they have a self-serve kiosk to order from when the staff are busy. I got their milk cream mango while my boyfriend got the milk cream jasmine. I loved my mango drink! The mango is so delicious. I just wished my drink was bigger! What a cool concept - bulldog shaped mousse cakes! Photos on Yelp compelled us to visit Timeless Tea. We had black milk tea which was pretty standard in terms of base line, and the cheesecake bulldog mousse cake. I'm sure they use a mould but the level of detail is amazing. It was surprisingly small given its price tag though... I also thought that it would taste like actual cheesecake filling, but it more tasted like cream cheese and had a slab of sponge cake inside. read more

I can only complain about the smoothies here. Now, if you order them as is, i am sure they are probably very good. But unfortunately, I have dietary restrictions, so it prevents me from enjoying the drinks for how they are made. Now the smoothie I got had no cream. And it just tasted horrible. Just horrible. Imagine, no sugar, ice, blended with chunky honeydew. Was it gross? Yeah. it was. Would I come here again? No. The only reason why i wouldn't come here again is because the employees do not know their product. Now, you could say, well you had your drink modified and it's normally not how they make their drinks, so how would they know if its good or not. Because they are selling a product. Just because someone has restrictions, doesn't give the store a right to make it terrible. Now, prior to the order, they can say, it normally comes with cream, but we cannot guarantee that it will be good because it's the cream that makes the texture sweet and palatable. Otherwise, it will be icy. Do you still want to order? If they have mentioned that, then most likely i would not order it and would have ordered something else that I could have. And the reason why I would say that they don't know their product because in addition to all that, I also said, less sugar. So, an employee thought, a smoothie, with no cream and less sugar with just ice and chunky honeydew, this customer will love it! I even had my husband with me at the time of ordering and tried the smoothie and we were both in agreement that not only would we not come back but clearly they are a bit clueless about their product even with the dietary modifications. In an ideal world, yeah, if people didn't have dietary issues, im sure this store would be fine, but for people who need to be catered to, we should have a right to pay for a product that tastes delicious even with dietary restrictions. I would have been fine if they said, Im sorry, our drinks are made as is and we cannot modify anything. I am sorry. Then we would have left the store with no qualms. I am not going to fault a store for turning me away for something that cannot cater to my restrictions. But yeah. The drink was terrible. So terrible, that we wouldn't come back. I am sure there other products are fine, but because of this one drink and the lack of common sense and knowledge and their inability to speak comprehensible english, it's a bit frustrating to get an order the way I would like. However, the upside to the store is that it looks and feels authentic asian boba place. That's pretty cool. I used to work at a legit asian boba shop, but even I would cater to someone else's dietary restrictions without making it taste well.... tasteless. Came here for the first time and was confused about the few milk tea options they had. I asked about the four seasons milk tea and they offered me samples of it + the yellow milk tea as well. Both were delicious and more unique compared to other bbt shops. Four seasons is sorta like jasmine tea - green tea with floral hints but don't think it's jasmine specifically. Soo good! The yellow milk tea I think is roasted oolong. Also good! I got 100% sweet as it was my first time, it wasn't too sweet, but I would probably get 75% next time for something lighter. Friends got me the molten Boba cake and it was crazy. It came with a little wrapper that you took apart and it kinda exploded onto the cake. A bit messy but very cool. The cake was super light and fluffy, typical Chinese cake. The milk cream on top tasted a bit salty I wonder if that's the style. And the Boba was actually really good and soft. I seen people who ordered after us get their food first so I started to wait in front and watch the workers make boba. They kept placing other in front of us. Got the durian mille cake, choco mousse bulldog, four seasons tea & grass jelly milk tea w/boba. I order the durian & four seasons tea - the cake was light, heavy on the cream in my opinion with some light bites of durian. Unsure if it's made in-house as there's no info on the container other than pull date. The four seasons tea - couldn't adjust sweetness so it might be pre-sweetened; it was too sweet for me (reminded me of the snow fungus dessert flavor for some reason). Partner got the choco mousse & grass jelly drink - the choco mousse flavor was reminiscent of a good choco ice cream from our little kid days, a little rubbery texture to keep its shape and design. There's a small slice of white sponge cake in the center. The drink was too much to me but the flavor of the milk tea was good.
