To Whom It May Concern, This letter serves as my final formal demand for resolution regarding my security deposit and the ongoing lack of consistent, professional communication from the management of The Tuscany at Mesa Hills Apartments. Despite my repeated efforts to resolve this matter--through phone calls, in-person visits, and written correspondence--your office has failed to provide a clear, timely, or consistent response. I first raised this issue at the end of December 2025. After more than six weeks without resolution, I sent a detailed email on February 11, 2026. As of February 27, 2026, I had received no response, even after additional follow-up by phone. To date, communication remains sporadic, contradictory, and unproductive. The issues at hand include the unexplained 33% deduction from my security deposit and the insistence on a notarized security relinquishment document. As previously explained, my son resides in Tokyo, Japan, making compliance with a U.S.-based notarization requirement both impractical and unnecessarily burdensome. Notably, an alternative solution--email confirmation--was suggested by your staff on December 28, 2025, yet even that reasonable accommodation was not acted upon in a timely manner. What is most concerning is not merely the delay, but the pattern of conduct: shifting requirements, lack of accountability, failure to respond, and the absence of a clear and consistent process. These actions reflect a serious lack of professionalism, poor business ethics, and unfair practices that place unnecessary burden on tenants acting in good faith. At this point, it is important to be direct: the time, effort, and unnecessary frustration caused by your lack of professionalism have made it clear that pursuing a legal dispute over approximately $400 is not a worthwhile use of my time or resources. My peace of mind is far more valuable than engaging in a prolonged process driven by what appears to be disorganization, indifference, and disregard for fair business practices. That said, it is difficult to ignore the impression that such outcomes may be precisely how your business benefits--through small amounts retained under unclear and inconsistent processes, knowing that many individuals will reasonably conclude that the cost of pursuing recovery exceeds the amount in question. Formal Demand Within ten (10) business days of receipt of this letter, I request the following: 1. A detailed written and itemized accounting of all deductions made from my security deposit. 2. Immediate clarification of any remaining balance owed to me. 3. A reasonable and legally compliant alternative to the notarization requirement, taking into account my son's residency abroad. 4. Written confirmation of the timeline for full resolution. While I would have preferred a straightforward and professional resolution, your handling of this matter has unfortunately demonstrated otherwise. If the approximately $400 in question is ultimately retained, I trust it will be spent with full awareness of the manner in which it was obtained--through a process marked by unprofessional conduct, poor communication, and questionable business ethics. I strongly prefer to resolve this matter without further escalation. However, after months of delay and inadequate communication, immediate and decisive action is now required. I expect prompt written acknowledgment of this letter.

I'm currently awaiting a law suit with them here in El Paso, Tx and from what I know I am not the only victim of this corrupt housing agency. CarefreeHomes does an amazing job living up to the name. lazy, lack lustered building with no care in trying to make a situation right. LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS…read more A company doesn't get so many consistent one-star reviews for good service. If anyone is considering using their services, hopefully, these consistent negative reviews will help you make a decision to pick another vendor. LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS Q - What happens AT&T when you outsource and off-shore your customer service department? A - You get a lot of pissed off customers that will flock to your competitors. I am now one of them. Despicable treatment by a group of totally untrained, uneducated, incompetent L I A R S First call 10/17 - This is where I lost 51 minutes of my life trying to explain an issue to their incoherent representatives. First Eileen who was totally useless. Then her 'supervisor', Jasmine who guaranteed me I would receive an email from someone on their tech team within 72 hours, Ticket #1-236907879796R2. It sounded far-fetched, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. 10/24 - As anticipated, no response. Called again and spoke with Sierra who again, was of no use. I asked to AGAIN speak with a supervisor. After waiting for 1 hour 27 minutes (stupid me) with her coming back on the line every so often to assure me that the supervisor was coming, she disconnected the call. I guess that was her way of letting me know that a supervisor wouldn't be coming after all. Right back at you AT&T/DirectTV. Tomorrow, it's my turn and I will be one to hit the disconnect button and terminate your services.

Our bill has been double what it's been with another company, and there are wayyyyyy too many channels for my liking. We moved to a larger home (less than a mile away) a while back and they charged us AGAIN to connect service at the new home, instead of just transferring service. My husband only uses it for the sports packages and those are ridiculously priced. Half the time he watches the sports somewhere else anyway because we get spotty reception. They try to get you to sign up for whatever internet they have, and I'm not even sure what it is. I still have my broadband with the old cable company and I have no problems! I wanted to switch back but I found out they hold you to a contract which is u breakable unless you fork over almost $400. And why on earth would I want to keep the equipment? They make you purchase the equipment so you can't return it! One thing I will admit that I like about this service is the DVR and on demand features. I only have about 3 shows a year that I watch so I like to record them and binge watch. So one star for the DVR, and one for the On Demand.
