The burger reminds me of your backyard barbecue and In-N-Out. The patty is small, the vegetables were crisp, the bun was fresh. I would definitely get a double patty next time. The french fries are really good, they were cooked perfectly and they had a good flavor. They were also fresh and not oily. All in all, this was a great visit and the food was good. My had a small baby and I went in first to order and then went outside to trade with my husband so he could use the restroom as we waited for our to-go order. Without me sharing any thoughts with my husband the first thing he said when he got back is how supremely friendly the young man was and how he swears his attitude was contagious because he came out with a smile on his face. I know people will debate it, but I enjoyed the well seasoned and tasty breaded sandwich much more than In-n-out. I love my food with spice, Valerie brought out extra of both the red and green salsas for me and it was greatly appreciated because I prefer my chilaquiles less on the crunchy side and more on the soft side. After we paid and left (btw there's a small discount for paying in cash, our server let us know) we decided to take a photo outside and the host, Brianna saw us and came out and offered to take a photo for us. Disappointing Experience and Poor Customer Service…read more I was really looking forward to enjoying a Bob's Big Boy hamburger and an ice cream cake. It had been such a long time since I had eaten at Bob's Big Boy, and with these restaurants becoming increasingly scarce, I was genuinely excited about the experience. Unfortunately, what should have been an enjoyable meal turned into a very disappointing visit. I was trying to find a seat in the restaurant where it was relatively quiet, and I immediately asked the server if there was an area with lower music volume. I was told no, so I moved to another seat, only for the music to be turned up even louder. It was obvious that I was bothered by the noise level, yet no one made any effort to address the situation or offer a solution. The music was so loud that it was difficult to think, let alone relax and enjoy my meal. Ultimately, I decided to take my food elsewhere. When I informed the server that I would be taking my food to go, I asked him if there was a reason why the music was so loud. His response did not make the situation any better. He threw his hands up and explained that he had no control over the volume and that it was at the manager's discretion. While I understand that servers may not have the authority to adjust the music, I would have appreciated some effort to communicate my concerns to management or find a reasonable solution. I then spoke directly with the manager and asked if there was a reason why the music was so loud. Her response was that nobody had told her the music was too loud. That was particularly frustrating because I had already expressed my discomfort to the server, yet apparently no one thought it was important enough to address the issue. What made the experience even more disappointing was that management seemed more focused on decorating the restaurant for Halloween than listening to a customer's concerns. Seasonal decorations are great, but they should never take priority over customer service. When a customer is clearly uncomfortable and brings a concern to your attention, the least you can do is acknowledge it and make a genuine effort to find a solution. I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply wanted to enjoy a hamburger and ice cream cake in a comfortable environment without music blaring so loudly that I couldn't relax or think. I had been looking forward to this meal for a long time, which made the entire experience that much more disappointing. Instead of leaving with a pleasant memory, I left feeling ignored, frustrated, and dissatisfied. Good customer service is about more than taking orders and serving food.
