The double cheeseburger avocado was bright and fresh and you could taste the arugula, it was a change from basic lettuce that doesn't add any flavor. The food had fresh ingredients and was made with care. The bacon fries tasted slightly bbq-y. The texture of the crunchy fries and creamy cheese and ranch with bacon were delicious. As I start to write this, I realize that I've been eating way too many burgers recently so maybe it's time to take a break, huh. 2 weeks ago my wife and I were in South Gate around lunch time, and Burger Point was the place to scratch that lunch itch. Located inside of a plaza if I remember correctly, Burger Point has a bunch of different burger and chicken sandwich options as well as the goods to go on the sides of them. We ended up ordering the two meal deal which gave us two of the premium burgers, two drinks, and two orders of french fries as well. I settled on the New Shrimp and Jalapeno Burger since I'm a sucker for shrimp and it was a good call to make. The burger itself was pretty dang large and cooked how a burger should be, while the shrimp on top just made it that much more enjoyable. The french fries on the side had what I believe is truffle oil all over them and they were pretty dang good when dipped in ketchup. Overall, Burger Point was a great place to get lunch and definitely a place I would recommend in the South Gate area. We came to this place because we wanted to try a new burger spot. So, this place came up on Yelp for us with decent reviews. The inside of the place is really small, but you can eat in there if you choose. The customer service was great and very helpful since it was our first time at the restaurant. I got the BP burger with no sauce or champagne dressing, with truffle fries. The burger was pretty good, but I do recommend that the truffle fries could've had a stronger taste of the truffle on the fries. It was a very faint taste of truffle on the fries. I wouldn't mind trying this place in the future. I'll also give their Oreo shake a try. read more

Gotta say the BP burger was really good, the spread was good, it even came with a cheese crisp which I gotta say was tasty. Ordered the special tempura shrimp burger and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and they gave chopped pepperoncini's which added a great touch to every bite :) fries were perfectly, I think they season them with salt and pepper. Well to begin with, the overall vibe and atmosphere was very calm. the staff immediately greeted me and my boyfriend with the utmost gratitude and kindness. We decided to settle with the couple combo and both got the BBQ Burger. needless to say, it was a good burger but not something that completely knocked me off my seat. I think it definitely has potential for greatness with some mild tweaking. The fries were a different story however...... TOO SALTY. Their burgers all looked so good that I spent a solid 5 minutes deciding what to get. I eventually landed on the classic: BP Burger. It had layers of unique ingredients including a cheese tortilla!! I'm all about texture and this gave the burger such a perfect crunch especially when paired with the juicy patty. I'm still eyeing the other burgers still so I'll be back for those soon. For a snack, I got Korean Sweet Popcorn Chicken and it was drenched in sweet sauce. It was a nice way to cut the savoriness of the burger and add even more crunch. I also got the Oreo Shake for dessert and it was more icy than milky which wasn't my favorite but it'll work if you want something light. Upon entering, you are greeted by bright white and yellow ambiance. They have bar style seating and a cute bench where you can sit. The menu is displayed on TVs. It is bright and easy to read. Now let's move onto the food! My favorite had to be the mushroom burger. It was very juicy and flavorful. It's messy, so make sure you have napkins ready. Long over due review cuz this is my third coming here and I keep coming back because the food is delectable and the service is always on point. So far I've only tried their chicken sandwiches and the popcorn chicken. Everything the sandwiches has been perfect to me. The sandwich has this slaw that adds just the right amount of crunch to the sandwich and they aren't stingy with the pickles, also they use a brioche bun and it just makes the sandwich even better. The fries are not greasy and perfectly seasoned, they give you a good amount of fries. The popcorn chicken in the Korean sweet sauce was also really good. The young girl taking the orders is very friendly and the the owner does a great job of making you feel welcomed, she goes above and beyond. She offered us a sample of their churro fries which was a nice surprise because they were sweet and savory. So glad this new restaurant opened up in my neighborhood and I'll definitely keep coming back to try other items because they have a pretty good variety to pick from on their menu. read more
