I would give Jim's 5 more stars if I could . I was in the neighborhood and drove by & trusted my gut which was completely empty by the way (starving ), but something told me that I was going to get a Good Burger here and I totally did . I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger Special and it was EXCELLENT. Good size portion , Fresh and it was a good amount of Fresh Bacon in it and the fries were cooked perfectly. The staff is extremely nice & friendly and one of the Family's Owner was on site I believe her name was Cristina she was talking to the Customers making sure they were enjoying their food and having a good time . I really admire her pride she had for her business and connecting with her Customers I eat at a ton of Greek owned businesses and when I saw that it clicked ! I love when I see that , that's the Customer Service I grew up with and it's almost like a lost art even at fancy restaurants they don't even do that anymore . Wish I would have taken pictures of my meal but it hit on every level TRUST ME !!!!! You have to try this place this is a REAL neighborhood institution and I am glad I stopped in and on that note I'll definitely be back !!!! Jim's continues to be the most expensive Burger Joint around South East Los Angeles, probably in all Los Angeles! While I grew up loving their food, their exorbitant prices are simply outrageous. I need to stop giving them my money and hope that everyone around our community starts to boycott them as well until they stop taking advantage of our surroundings low income communities. $0.99 for a slice of cheese!?!? 1,000% Profit!!! Jim's is the only Burger Joint to charge this much for a slice of cheese!!!! Did the milk come from a cow made of Gold? To add insult to injury, they're even reducing their portion sizes while simultaneously increasing their prices! read more

Absolutely delicious upgraded meat on the hamburgers. I love to eat in the AM as the evening staff is very different. The morning staff is amazing and very caring. Evening staff for whatever reason always don't get my order right! Very sad since I pay my hard earned money. Also, not happy that there is only 1size of Pepsi. read more

One of the last bastions for solid diner burgers. I come here every few weeks and get their double bacon cheeseburger extra cheese. The burgers are a good size and filling. The fries are the nice thick ones crispy with soft center; they're also very generous with them. Overall great service too. I have noticed that their prices are getting a little up there - inflation. Fast delicious food rated two thumbs up. Most notable that have not surcome to kiosk ordering. They remain old school where you look at the menu and have someone take your order. I absolutely HATE kiosk ordering. Popeyes, Jack in the box, Taco Bell just to name a few have all made that transition. Personalized customer service is non existent.
