We have been here probably once a month over the last year. We have gotten to know the wonderful staff and like the neighborhood atmosphere. My favorite menu item is the Patty Melt. In my opinion it is the best patty melt in Redmond; you need to go to Weed CA to find a better patty melt. Tuesday night is Taco Tuesday. I have been there before, but the food was terrible! We came with a group of friends for Date Night. I ordered the special, fish and chips with a cup of clam chowder. Bring a visitfrom the east coast, I know how fish and chips. The chowder was stone cold with not a single clam in it. The fish was not any fish that I have ever tasted (was tough to the point that I needed to use my knife to cut into it). It looked like old shoe leather. We ordered onion rings that were so burnt that it was impossible to eat. After a few bites, my stomach was starting to hurt. Now I am sick and it's because of this food. We went to Timbers tonight to Try the fish an chips. We shared meal and it was plenty to eat . All the food was good and well prepared. Our waiter turned out to be rather rude and seemed to be trying to take care of more than he was capable of. I ordered a beer and my wife did not order a drink at the time thinking he would bring water. When he returned with the beer but no water she asked water and he responded that she should have asked for it when I ordered my beer. I've lost count of how many times I have been here and I just keep coming back. I was first introduced to Timbers by my parents 5+ years ago and it's still our go-to place when we are all going out together. Personally I love the food. It's typical bar food and that's what I like. They've recently added pretzel bites to their appetizer menu and they're SO GOOD!! So that's my newest fav. My other personal favorites: Quesadillas, Taquitos, Western BBQ Burger, BLT. But I've never ordered something here that I didn't end up enjoying. Again, it's typical bar food and these are only what I'd recommend to others who already know they enjoy typical bar food too. If you are looking for something else... go somewhere else. Unless you are *only* looking for a place to grab good drinks, then this is a good option, because they pour them well here. My parents love their prime rib Thursday's though they admit that some weeks they have better meat than others, but they still try to come out on Thursdays whenever they can. I've never had breakfast here but my parents have several times and they give it 5 stars. The casual atmosphere and friendly service is what we like the most though and what keeps bringing us back. It's very laid back and everyone who works here is wonderful. They recognize us now but even before then we never had any issues. They have really nice outside seating too. They have some table out front and then some out back. I usually only go out to smoke but you can go eat out there too. We usually go earlier in the evening (anywhere from 4-6) so I don't know what the later crowds are like but I love it here, it's comfortable here, and there's nothing I would change. Service was spot on. Waitresses/hostess were gracious and accomadating. I sat at a booth so I could see the majority of the establishment. I ordered a rib-eye: fatty and chewy, no seasoning, so, very bland. It came with baked potato and buttered toast. I had a salad with ranch dressing, which was runny, not thick. Stay away from this place they have good food at a good price but is seems to overwhelm the staff and they are rude and not attentive. Should you find yourself in Redmond, first question the string of decisions that lead you there, then plug Timbers North into the waze machine and floor it. This is like the double deuce of road house pre Swayze taming it. You'll find yourself welcomed to a parking lot full of pickups, domestic of course, they don't drive toyotas out here. While I was here in the winter the heater's out on the patio gave you that warmth that normally only whiskey can provide. The service was fantastic, I rarely found my hand empty. If you're looking for some city slicker club experience, you're in the wrong place. You should hop back in your nissan leaf and head back to some hipster bar where they served coconut infused tea in mason jars. This is a bar for men whose jeans have a ring on the back pocket from grizzly cans. The drinks are stiff and the company is good. 10/10 would return. read more

Drinks are fairly cheap and they are nice and strong. Food took absolutely forever. In fact they forgot the order and still took forever when they finally remembered. How hard is nachos?? We almost left when we saw that packed parking lot, but found a space and figured what the heck. We'll give it a try. We were lucky to find a couple seats but it was packed. Taco Tuesday...stopped there to meet a co-worker. "Dude...I just ordered 7 tacos...they're $.50 each! And check out this margarita! $3.50!" So...I ordered my 7 tacos, expecting them to be just like every other $1 street taco I have ordered for years, everywhere across the bay area. What I got was a hefty plate full of food. Flour tortillas stuffed with meat, lettuce, and tomato. Each of them alone would have cost about $4 at a restaurant, or even $2.50 at Taco Bell or Del Taco. And all 7 of these beasts were $3.50 total! They were hot, well-prepared, and tasted awesome. So yeah...I ordered a margarita. And it was hand-poured, not spooged out of a machine like a dive-bar slurpee. The pours were good, the drink was good... I'd love to give more stars than I did, but it's not like the entire place was off-the-charts outstanding. For the amount of food and drink I got...for under $10...it was excellent. I'll be back to try out some of the other specials. I've heard from a few people that the prime rib is worth the price of admission...used to be $10.95, but they recently upped it to $12.95...for a full meal plate. read more

A group of four of us stopped in on Taco Tuesday for happy hour. The layout is nice, with a small gaming room off to one side as you enter and the restaurant/bar on the other side. There are tables, booths and seating at a nice-sized bar. Pool tables are on the far side of the joint. The atmosphere was comfy, woody and welcoming. Our group ordered four of the 1/2 price appetizers, a couple of beers and some non-alcoholic libations. The portions were huge, the food was good, and we were feeling the ambiance. We stayed a couple of hours and ordered three different types of tacos, all of which were super yummy. We were pleased with the cozy atmosphere and food. The service, however, was just so-so. There were only two bartenders/wait staffers for the whole place, and they seemed to be focused strictly on the bar. No biggie, but our experience would have been so much better had we received even a little more attention. Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves, and would recommend Timbers to anyone looking for great happy hour food at a very reasonable price. Just be sure to sit at the bar or you might feel like a scolded child given a time-out. read more

First let me say I award my stars on a sliding scale. This is a BAR that serves food. Having that in mind it's a solid four stars. I was here on a Sunday at lunch time and took advantage of the breakfast special. A 8oz sirloin cooked on a flat top with two eggs over easy for me and a generous portion of hash browns. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted really good. It also came with one piece of toast and freezer jam. How many places serve freezer jam anymore, it was tasty for sure! Oh and the best part was the bank busting price of $8.50. Decor is log cabin bar theme with drink specials and TVs everywhere. Oh and it was fairly busy with a waiter who was sarcastic and friendly who took it as well as he gave it. We had a good laugh with our meal. read more

The bartender was very sweet. I've been to other timbers in Bend and this one made me feel very uncomfortable. To top it off the pretzel bites or deep fried hush puppies was greasy and gross. Even though I mentioned it I still got them to go. And I still paid for them. Just because of your bartender didn't offer to take them back for me I will pay for what I ordered. And I will still tip. My dogs didn't even eat them. Just moved to town, and I was hoping to find a cool little bar and grill to hangout close to home after work. It truly makes me sad to write this review! I loved coming here, the food is good, the atmosphere is wonderful but the service is horrible! Our waitress "T" was so rude and ugly to us me and my family won't be back!! We have given her many chances thinking that it's just because she is busy, but every time we come back her attitude gets worse! Last night was the last straw, along with her short and rude attitude, I had to ask for a menu, my husband had to get up from the table and ask the bar tender for refills and our food order was not even right, but since "T" never returned to check on us after our food was delivered we ended up eating it!! When "T" finally returned to give us our bill, she acted like it was out fault and it was a major inconvenience to fix it!! I called the manager the next day to voice my complaint and all she could say is that "T" has worked there for many years and while I was trying to explain what happened, she started talking to other customers completely ignoring me! Last night we went to Taco Tuesday at the Redmond Timbers location. Then some other people we know also went to Taco Tuesday without our knowledge so of course we all wanted to sit together. When a large table opened up, we all moved to that table. This was 8 people total. There is sign that says that timbers will add gratuity for groups over 7 people. But here's the kicker. The women that waited on us is the manager. She got snotty with everyone at the table because we didn't call ahead. This is how she greeted the table, by bitching. She took our food order then never returned to the table to check on our dinner or drinks. Then when it came to get paid, she refused to split the check. She put it all on one check and had the balls to add a gratuity! Why give her tip when she was rude and failed to do her job? Because the tip was built in. That is a problem. My family will never go to Timbers again read more

The food here is better then the East side, but the service while usually good depends on who's on duty & & time of day. I've been in several times where they were seriously under staffed, & you could tell those who were there were understandably stressed & resentful. Management needs to be better to their staff who will then be better to their patrons... definitely recommend the food & try to give grace to the staff read more

Worst service ever ! My friend and I went out , had a few drinks there and a burger then played some pool . The tab was paid and apparently the tip wasn't good enough as she let us know as we were leaving by saying "thanks a lot big tipper" . Ordered the chicken wings appetizer - came with ALL of the wings still having feathers on them. Just not into deep fried feathers. Needless to say, kind of lost my appetite after having to pluck the feathers off. Very disappointing as their chicken wings in the past have been very good - with no feathers!!
