We had a fire marshal come out to the property to do a walkthrough and write a report on things we needed to do to keep the property safe from wildfires. I had Dave do all the trimming that took 4 days. The work was outstanding and his crew was amazing doing all the trimming and tree removal. His equipment is unbelievable and it is obvious that he invest in his business to help in grow. Yesterday we were planting a tree for shade in our parking lot. It was where we had Sawtooth remove tree a couple of years ago. We ran into some root problems that stop our progress on digging the hole. I called Kat at their man office letting her know my situation and really needed help. She had Skyler the company manager call me and asked what I needed. He had a crew come out within a hour with their root removal grinder to clear the area out that we were having the problems. Korey and Carter were very polite and professional and did an excellent job grinding the area out so we could continue to dig our hole for the new tree. This is outstanding customer service. No sawdust was left from the grinding, but WAY TOO MUCH shredded wood pieces were left and mixed up in the dirt. No way new grass seed could have been added, so we had to rake the soil to get rid of the excess shredded wood. "4F rating". Other than the stump grinding, we were very happy with the rest and would give Save A Tree an excellent rating and recommend them.

I gave up after they canceled three times and did not get my deposit back for three weeks. I made the mistake of calling them two months ago. They made an appointment to come out and look at the tree that needed trimming, but they showed up early, so I did not have the opportunity to speak with anyone. I received a bid that was higher than others, but I wanted a quality job so I went with them. Don't be fooled by the professional website. They try to upsell you on other services. Okay, I paid the deposit and then waited... a week later they contacted me and told me when they would come out for the service. I made arrangements with the tenants, then they rescheduled due to heat and smoke. Understandable. We set another date; I notified the tenants, and they canceled again. Then somebody called me and said that they could do it on Sunday. On Monday, they said they couldn't do the job, but would stop by with a pole trimmer. At that point, I asked about the refund policy. Without further conversation, I got a text saying my refund had been processed. Two weeks later, I called to ask about the refund. More runaround, then I got an email stating it was being processed by their corporate office in New York. I did receive it after about three weeks. In the meantime, I called an actual local company, Priceless Tree Care. They showed up on time, were very knowledgeable, charged no upfront deposit, and did a great job. Don't waste your time with Savatree.

I had requested another company's quote and just got a better detailed description of what all they planned or thought was needed to do (and why) than the other company, so I went with Treasure Tree & Landscape.

Our home was one of the three model homes in the subdivision but over the years, this tree slowly morphed into the leaning tower of Pisa. Occasionally, branches would get so heavy that they would break off. We had another similar tree in the backyard and we had some stumps to remove. All in all, there was a lot of work to be done. I reached out to Chandler Tree Service and one other company and Devon Chandler contacted me and we met on a Friday afternoon. Devon's tree knowledge is impressive. If there was a category of Dendrology, scientific study of trees, on Jeopardy, Devon would sweep the board. He speaks with such passion about each tree, its tendencies, how it grows, and why it grows. I could even sense that if he put his hand on the trunk of the tree, he could feel its heart and soul. He provided an estimate for all and he asked if I needed to speak to another service and I decided not to. We settled on a date and he provided an estimate via email. Today was the day. The crew arrived with their foreman Ray. They huddled before getting started and systematically began work on phases simultaneously. One crewmember went to the backyard roped himself to the tree and began to execute a tier 2 trim while another crewmember began the work on the stumps. While in the front yard, a crew worked efficiently together to surgically chainsaw branches and feed them into the chipper. They were all very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. After about 40 minutes, I brought each team member a cold bottle of water and thanked them for their work. The end result is stunning. The front yard no longer has a leaning tower of a tree, the trimmed tree in the backyard looks amazing, and I can't wait to mow the backyard without the stumps.
