Only issue was coming time to pay like many companies these days they want an up charge for credit cards! Some people just need to use them for big ticket iteams like this could be. Mine was not so not an issue. I'd prefer to see them figure a different way if their margins are truly that close. That was disappointing to see.

They recently came over and took down massive branches of a river birch tree that was leaning over our garage. They are super knowledgeable, friendly, and do a great job. They showed up on time and protected the paths beneath where they were cutting. We appreciate their expertise and will continue to work with them and highly recommend them.

He had an estimate for me shortly after. We were able to agree on price to get the trees removed with a crane, and to have the stumps ground down. We set a date and time and they were there, right on schedule. I got the crew coffee and donuts to have while they put together a game plan on the property that morning. I spent the morning watching (from a safe distance) as they used the crane to lift to remove the cottonwood poplar and silver maple with precision. A talented bunch that truly cares about the customer and doing the job right. 10/10 would recommend.

My house is now visible, the entire street looks brighter and cleaner, and I don't have to rake up pine needles every weekend to keep my lawn alive. I have a garden window in my kitchen and they sprayed all around it and got the spray all over the window. My front door was sprayed along the sides and top with spray that got lots of spray on my glass screen door. Just how many pests are going to crawl up the wall into my garden kitchen window? Obviously none. The spray dried and it took me a long time to remove the spray from my glass screen door and the garden kitchen window. This happened the next year and I called them to clean the glass. Today for the third time my glass screen door was sprayed from top to bottom. I caught the gal doing the spraying and she said it wasn't intentional but it certainly could have been or it was pure carelessness. I told her that it wasn't necessary to spray in my area and she said that she would make sure that it was in their notes not to spray my area. Not but a few minutes later she came back into my area and was spraying above the entrance to my carport. When she saw me she ran off. I would not recommend this company. They require a large upfront deposit, make you wait for weeks,…read moreand then do not show up. I gave up after they canceled three times and did not get my deposit back for three weeks. I made the mistake of calling them two months ago. They made an appointment to come out and look at the tree that needed trimming, but they showed up early, so I did not have the opportunity to speak with anyone. I received a bid that was higher than others, but I wanted a quality job so I went with them. Don't be fooled by the professional website. They try to upsell you on other services. Okay, I paid the deposit and then waited... a week later they contacted me and told me when they would come out for the service. I made arrangements with the tenants, then they rescheduled due to heat and smoke. Understandable. We set another date; I notified the tenants, and they canceled again. Then somebody called me and said that they could do it on Sunday. On Monday, they said they couldn't do the job, but would stop by with a pole trimmer. At that point, I asked about the refund policy. Without further conversation, I got a text saying my refund had been processed. Two weeks later, I called to ask about the refund. More runaround, then I got an email stating it was being processed by their corporate office in New York. I did receive it after about three weeks. In the meantime, I called an actual local company, Priceless Tree Care. They showed up on time, were very knowledgeable, charged no upfront deposit, and did a great job. Don't waste your time with Savatree.
