They arrived on the date, 2 hours early, and went to work. Their work was professional and quick. The first crew took down the tree. The second crew with the stump grinder came back a couple of hours later to finish the job, and exceeded my expectations, grinding below surface level obliterating the heart of the tree. Their cleanup, communication, and overall professionalism was beyond reproach. They filled the hole with the remaining dirt and wood chips and leveled it off. After, they wanted me to inspect their work, and sign off that I was satisfied, which I was. I always try and find the best deal on stuff like this, and frankly, I feel like this was a real bargain for the work that they did! I cannot recommend them highly enough! A+++

We immediately received a quote and a date for the project. Timberline kept to that date and kept us updated as to their arrival time. We are very happy with the service we received from Erich and the crew (Jake, Julian, Neil G., Corey, Zachary, Neil A.) Everyone was very friendly and professional and we learned that some of the crew members had been with the company for nearly twenty years. They worked together seamlessly. Hundreds of dollars and months later, when noticing the tree was doing worse and the bark was literally falling off the trunk, we called an arborist to assess and diagnose what was happening. Basically, we wanted a third opinion. This certified arborist diagnosed the tree as dead. He said it was obvious, anyone with any tree experience should've recognized the signs, as he pointed out numerous attributes Emerald Lawns overlooked or ignored in order to scam us out of a bunch of money. I called Emerald Lawns and said I found it pretty unethical to charge for treatments and services to an obvious dead tree, and told them not to continue any treatment services and to not set foot on our property again. This was about a year ago. Well, today I came home to an invoice tucked in my door and my front yard tree having had been serviced by Emerald Lawns! WIthout request or authorization from us, they trespassed on our property to try and scam us out of another treatment of our dead tree (which we plan to remove this spring). Do NOT use this company, they are obviously not knowledgable at all, overcharge for inappropriate services, and are blatantly unethical in their business practices.
