We could not be happier with the service we received from Mountain Tree Service. The 3 men who came were very polite and very efficient. It took a while to get an appointment but it was worth the wait. We highly recommend Mountain Tree Service and feel like we have a tree service for life. Very reasonable prices! Thanks! These guys were great! Like a well oiled machine, in and out fast! They got back to me very fast, showed up on time and did as the said. Only issue was coming time to pay like many companies these days they want an up charge for credit cards! Some people just need to use them for big ticket iteams like this could be. Mine was not so not an issue. I'd prefer to see them figure a different way if their margins are truly that close. That was disappointing to see. read more

I had two large Maple trees of different species, in the front yard. There were several large branches hanging over and resting on the roof. A new roof is scheduled for installation in early September. The job was too much for me. So I contacted Mountain Tree Service. They promptly replied and gave me a in-person estimate the next day. The day of the job they showed up early. Pruning and shaping both trees. They were quick and efficient, disposing of branches as they worked. The front yard looks great now. And the roofers will have plenty of room to work. Mountain Tree Service did a great job. Highly recommended. read more

The team was very professional with great communication. 2 dead 30-foot arbor vitae and 3 unwanted thorny bushes removed in2 hours. That included a bunch dead underbrush and dead low limbs cleared out. Now we can effectively water them with an insecticide to stop further loss. The price was mid-upper end, but in the end worth it. We received some additional insight to ensure they continue to thrive. The yard was thoroughly cleaned after the work. Very impressed. read more

I have a choke cherry tree in my front yard that was severely overgrown and in serious need of trimming. I had Mountain Tree Service come and trim it back and it looks so much better now. The crew who came were total professionals and very friendly. They cleaned everything up as if they had never been here. I may have this tree removed in the future and if I do, I'll have Mountain Tree back for that... read more

The owner came and made an estimate for my job. Tree removal and trimming 20 arborvitae. It was reasonable so I booked. They came on the appointed day, appointed time and did said work in about an hour. Clean up and job done well. I would definitely recommend Mountain Tree Service. Reasonable, prompt and thorough. Friendly as well and did another job I requested with minimal additional charge. read more

Over the years that I have lived in the Treasure Valley, I have hired three different tree trimming companies to trim or remove trees from our property. We have a lot of older trees surrounding our property so this is an ongoing need for us about every other year. Out of the three companies I have worked with, we have only called Mountain Tree Service multiple times. Recently we received a fair quote from Logan and scheduled the crew come back to work on tree removals, stump grinding, and complicated tree trimming that spanned between our yard and the neighbor's yard. The job was scheduled easily via text and the crew arrived on time on the work day. Upon arrival, Nathan and I discussed the job that Logan quoted and confirmed all details. Nathan and the crew worked quickly but also took the necessary time to do the job correctly and thoroughly. After it was finished, Nathan walked the property and he kindly addressed a few small areas I asked to be trimmed a bit more. The crew worked hard and were kind to clean up all the mess as if they were never there. I was impressed that the crew that worked for us last year are the same guys that returned this year. That indicates to me that this business does more than one thing right. This is the tree business that I now call when needed and I recommend when anyone I know asks for referrals. read more

Received a bid in October to remove a medium sized Crab Apple tree. Their bod was well below what I expected! They were booked out until January, but we set a date. They arrived on the date, 2 hours early, and went to work. Their work was professional and quick. The first crew took down the tree. The second crew with the stump grinder came back a couple of hours later to finish the job, and exceeded my expectations, grinding below surface level obliterating the heart of the tree. Their cleanup, communication, and overall professionalism was beyond reproach. They filled the hole with the remaining dirt and wood chips and leveled it off. After, they wanted me to inspect their work, and sign off that I was satisfied, which I was. I always try and find the best deal on stuff like this, and frankly, I feel like this was a real bargain for the work that they did! I cannot recommend them highly enough! A+++ read more

If there ever was a company deserving of more than 5 stars, this is it. From the prompt and pleasant quote from Bethany to the rapid scheduling of the job and the very competitve price, it was joy to work with them. On the day of the job, a crew along with lots of equipment showed up at 8 am and began cutting a 50 ft pine tree that plagued our yard. The work was done with consideration of the closeness of the neighbor's fence and property line. Once the tree was felled, the processing of the stump and roots began. I used the Yelp estimate system and got great responses from everyone, very quickly. Totally recommend Logan for your tree service. I know he will get my next tree removal job. read more

Logan, Bethany and their crew are professional tree removers. They were spot on their arrival estimate. It took them about a half hour to cut down and grind out the roots of a pesky pear tree in my front yard. They were able to break up 90% of the tree with a very impressive, robust chipper. They removed any large rounds that were left over The tree was full of pollen that got all over the street. The crew meticulously cleaned the yard and street of all evidence of the removal. Although the tree had fallen safely, and only on our lawn, some debris had blown into the neighbors yard so they made sure their yard was spotless as well... Except for the hole in the ground you would never know there had been a tree. Their bid was very reasonable and I highly recommend calling them if you need help with a pesky tree. read more

Mountain Tree Service is an excellent local husband & wife run business. We needed some large elm trees trimmed on our property line and a maple tree trimmed, so I called Bethany at Mountain Tree Service. Logan came out and gave us a very reasonable bid and scheduled our job. The crew showed up about 30 minutes early and got right to work. The crew did quality work all the way. They were respectful of our property, did all the trimming, cleanup and was finished in less than 2 hours. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and engaged. The recent heavy snowfall caused a branch to fall off our tree and into the road. After determining that it was too large for me to deal with I called Mountain Tree Service. By texting photos of the situation I was provided with a very reasonable quote and accepted the price for the job. They responded quickly and had the job done within an hour. Having several large trees I've had work done by several of the local companies but none have been as responsive or affordable as Mountain Tree Service. Mountain Tree Service - Pretty big cherry tree between the small shed in the corner. It was taken down efficiently with what small space they had to work with. - Tree Services Near Me

Mountain Tree Service came to our rescue today. We have 100 year old trees and quite a few huge branches hanging clear over the house. Logan and his crew used their truck, ropes and climbed to get these limbs down and it was tricky at times. Nothing touched the house (amazing) and they worked respectfully, quickly and cleaned up nicely. There were more small trees and limbs across the property. I was impressed that they came punctually and finished everything in one day. The wood you see is only half of it. I am happy to know that none of those branches will fall on my roof in a summer wind storm. They are trained and certified, licensed and insured. Very highly recommended if you need this kind of work! read more

Great customer service, punctual, polite, professional and reasonable prices. Very pleased and would absolutely call again!

Just like superheroes with chainsaws, these guys are one of the most professional service people I've met. Starting with the quote. Super clean, detailed and quick. I chose this company since I wanted to give a small family business a chance than picking a big company. Also, They mention in their voice msg that they have a young kid and as a parent it was another reason for me. Added the good reviews I read about them. They showed up ON time 7am on the dot. Got the breakdown update and just started working full force. All the time maintaining clean and clear path in my yard while trying not to ruin anything. They finished cleaning up my backyard from all suckers, small unwanted trees, debris, and cleanup of branches in 12' view. Plus! Taking all wood and cutting debris with them after chopping them to small bits. Seeing how efficient and receptive they were I added two trees for their initial bid. Paid via check but you can also use Venmo. Will hire them again and recommend them to everyone in need of some hard working, professionals who take their work very seriously plus have a lot of respect to the homeowner who hired them and their property. read more

We needed two large trees removed from our property and called Mountain Tree Service. The bid was much lower than the other two companies we contacted. These guys make me wish I had more trees to take out! We had them remove one large crabapple tree that filled the front yard and they did it in lass than an hour. Three guys with great attitudes and exactly the right equipment showed up and got right to work. This job actually was done at least a month ahead of the expected date which worked perfectly--most of the leaves hadn't fallen from the tree yet so they got removed with the rest of the tree. They wore all the appropriate safety gear and did a great job of cleaning up the yard after the tree was removed, too. Best tree service I have ever used, bar none! read more
