The team was very professional with great communication. 2 dead 30-foot arbor vitae and 3 unwanted thorny bushes removed in2 hours. That included a bunch dead underbrush and dead low limbs cleared out. Now we can effectively water them with an insecticide to stop further loss. The price was mid-upper end, but in the end worth it. Over the years that I have lived in the Treasure Valley, I have hired three different tree trimming companies to trim or remove trees from our property. We have a lot of older trees surrounding our property so this is an ongoing need for us about every other year. Out of the three companies I have worked with, we have only called Mountain Tree Service multiple times. Recently we received a fair quote from Logan and scheduled the crew come back to work on tree removals, stump grinding, and complicated tree trimming that spanned between our yard and the neighbor's yard. The job was scheduled easily via text and the crew arrived on time on the work day. Upon arrival, Nathan and I discussed the job that Logan quoted and confirmed all details. Nathan and the crew worked quickly but also took the necessary time to do the job correctly and thoroughly. After it was finished, Nathan walked the property and he kindly addressed a few small areas I asked to be trimmed a bit more. The crew worked hard and were kind to clean up all the mess as if they were never there. I was impressed that the crew that worked for us last year are the same guys that returned this year. Received a bid in October to remove a medium sized Crab Apple tree. Their bod was well below what I expected! They were booked out until January, but we set a date. They arrived on the date, 2 hours early, and went to work. Their work was professional and quick. The first crew took down the tree. The second crew with the stump grinder came back a couple of hours later to finish the job, and exceeded my expectations, grinding below surface level obliterating the heart of the tree. Their cleanup, communication, and overall professionalism was beyond reproach. They filled the hole with the remaining dirt and wood chips and leveled it off. After, they wanted me to inspect their work, and sign off that I was satisfied, which I was. From the prompt and pleasant quote from Bethany to the rapid scheduling of the job and the very competitve price, it was joy to work with them. On the day of the job, a crew along with lots of equipment showed up at 8 am and began cutting a 50 ft pine tree that plagued our yard. It took them about a half hour to cut down and grind out the roots of a pesky pear tree in my front yard. They were able to break up 90% of the tree with a very impressive, robust chipper. They removed any large rounds that were left over The tree was full of pollen that got all over the street. The crew meticulously cleaned the yard and street of all evidence of the removal. Although the tree had fallen safely, and only on our lawn, some debris had blown into the neighbors yard so they made sure their yard was spotless as well... Mountain Tree Service came to our rescue today. We have 100 year old trees and quite a few huge branches hanging clear over the house. Logan and his crew used their truck, ropes and climbed to get these limbs down and it was tricky at times. Nothing touched the house (amazing) and they worked respectfully, quickly and cleaned up nicely. There were more small trees and limbs across the property. I was impressed that they came punctually and finished everything in one day. The wood you see is only half of it. These guys make me wish I had more trees to take out! We had them remove one large crabapple tree that filled the front yard and they did it in lass than an hour. Three guys with great attitudes and exactly the right equipment showed up and got right to work. This job actually was done at least a month ahead of the expected date which worked perfectly--most of the leaves hadn't fallen from the tree yet so they got removed with the rest of the tree.
