Meridian Tree Service removed a dead tree in our backyard and trimmed two other mature trees. The backyard tree was in a very tight space too. The quoted price was fair and competitive with others we receive. The crew arrived as we had been told they would, were extra pleasant, professional, and hard working. They did a thorough clean up after their work. I recommend them without reservation. read more

We had a huge dead pine tree sitting dangerously on the sloped edge of our canal bank, and it was definitely not a simple job. After one call and a clear, fair quote from Meridian Tree Service, we knew we were in the right hands. Dennis and Tina were outstanding from start to finish--professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly organized. Their crew handled a very large and risky removal with impressive skill and care. They worked efficiently while keeping safety front and center, protecting our yard and nearby structures the entire time. When they were done, they cleaned up so thoroughly you'd never know a massive tree had been there. It's rare to find a company that combines expertise, communication, and genuine pride in their work the way this team does. We were so impressed that we're already planning on calling them again for a few smaller tree removals. If you need any tree work--especially big or tricky jobs--Meridian Tree Service is the one to call. read more

Let's see-getting an estimate was easy. Getting the job setup was easy. Results were great, nice job on cleanup. Payment was easy. This was probably the easiest contractor experience I've ever had. I actually never even met any of the employees except for over the phone. Meridian tree service could give a class on how to take care of customers to other contractors. Thanks again! read more

Truly top notch experience at every step of the way from setting up the original walk through and estimate appointment with the owner (the topic of my first review), through scheduling the work to be done, through completion of the work. The owner, Dennis, did the estimate and then my husband scheduled a time with Tina, in the office, that was several weeks out, waiting for the cool weather needed for tree care. A couple of weeks prior to the work being done, Tina called to confirm the date and time. Since part of the work involved removing a tree and grinding out the stump, a few days before the date of work, Tina had a company come to do a utilities location check, that is to be certain there were not utility lines at risk of being disturbed in the work. (I used to work for a public utility to know how important this step is and it is amazing how many contractors don't do it.) On the scheduled date, the crew showed up on time, four men with the tools they needed and the owner present to do the walk through and discuss the work and with a foreman present for the duration of the work. Everything was expertly done and every single bit of debris cleaned up before the crew left. Dennis came back as the work was being finished to do a quality control walk through. It does not get better than this. Highly recommended. read more

very professional and awesome job !! My twenty year old crab apple tree was way overgrown and started dropping leaves in July the last few years. Now it has room to breathe and be healthy! read more

This crew is really a cut above the rest in my opinion. Efficient, friendly, and professional is a winning combination in any business. For those with busy lives and tight schedules, their estimates are accurate, their schedules are kept, and their work is thorough. read more

We had a tree that needed to be removed and another we just didn't like. We called Tina, got the estimate and got on the schedule. Well, they came out earlier than expected. The large tree was down in seconds. The smaller tree vanished even faster. The branches were gone. The stump was gone and the yard didn't even look like they had been here. All in less than a couple hours. What a great crew of young men with Dennis. Thank you Caleb, Avery, Conner and the 4th man who didn't slow down enough for me to ask his name. Thank you Meridian Tree Service for a job well done. Thank you Tina for the excellent customer service. read more

Good Stuff Yup! Charged a little and did a lot. Backyard looks much better, and I didn't fall off any ladders.

Dennis and his crew did an outstanding job. Came to my rescue after the huge wind storm we had in May. I had a branch break and was concerned about the rest. Called Tina and she was able to fit me in the same week. My tree is simply beautiful, nice shape and now I'm not afraid of branches dropping on neighbors property. I highly recommend them. So very happy! read more

Meridian Tree Service - Locust tree - Tree Services Near Me

The crew was very efficient and professional. Thorough clean up, and placed all protection for our lawn and traveled areas. Three large trees and several large limbs were all removed in about 2 hours. Their equipment and operators were amazing and no chipping on-site was needed - all sections were loaded and hauled away so it was very quiet. Awesome value for everything that was done. Very impressive and I will recommend them and use them again. read more

I hired Meridian Tree Service to trim dead branches from a large willow tree, cut down a spruce tree and remove four stumps. Communication was very good and so was the work done. Had to wait a couple of months to get on their schedule but well worth the wait. I highly recommend Meridian Tree Service. read more

Made an online request for an estimate and was promptly contacted by Tina. Set up a date/time for Dennis to come out and provide an estimate. Had 3 overgrown trees needed trimming but I work nights on a weird schedule so Mondays were the best option. Dennis gave me an estimate and said they would see what they could schedule. Fast forward a couple of weeks. I have a missed call from Tina saying they can get to me in the afternoon. Unfortunately by the time I saw the message the crew already moved out of the area. Tina told me they could get me on their schedule the following Monday. Today (Monday) Dennis and crew show up and get to work. In no time at all my trees are trimmed and the waste is completely cleaned up. Sorry I don't have names for everyone on the crew but the three of them made quick work of the job and the trees look great. The guys were very efficient. I would certainly use them again in the future and have already recommended them to a neighbor who needs some tree work done. Thanks Dennis, Tina, and the Boys for a job well done. read more

Needed the small forest in my backyard trimmed up and liked their reviews on Yelp so I gave them a call. Tina was very nice and quick to reply and answer any questions. The work was done on schedule and the trees look great! Will definitely call on them. read more

They did an outstanding job removing several trees. Plan on having them come out again to remove another.

Dennis and his crew did an outstanding job for us. In addition to removing 3 trees and pruning 2, they were able to restore some semblance of beauty to 2 ugly trees we had feared were hopeless. Reasonably priced, extremely nice crew, and very professional. Couldn't have asked for more. read more

We had a couple of trees trimmed recently on front of the lawn. The result wasn't great, but not bad either. It was just okay as I didn't notice all that much difference. I'll call their office and provide a review otherwise, I'll have a another company come out and finish the job. Staff was cordial and prompt at least so I give credit where it's due. read more

A neighbor asked us who trimmed our trees today, and I happily gave our recommendation. Then I realized I hadn't posted a review for Yelp, so here it is: We had Meridian Tree Service tend to some trees that hadn't been pruned in some time. We also needed help with a shrub that was causing damage to our fence. Theirs was the very best quote we got, and we couldn't have been happier with their service. Everyone we dealt with, from Dennis the owner to Teena on the telephone, was pleasant and professional. At the time the work was done, quite a few cut branches fell into a neighbor's yard. They cleared out those branches as well as all the others. The shrub needed to be removed, and they did a great job with that, too. We'll happily use them again if we need any tree work done, and we'll continue to recommend them to friends & neighbors. read more

Needed removal of two river birches in our backyard. Tina handled our request and set up an estimate which was done quickly. The crew was lined up for quite a while ahead, but arrived on time on the scheduled day, and quickly checked to see exactly what needed to be done. They removed a gate to get easier access to the back yard, and went right to work. Things were done as we had asked, and they did a good cleanup afterward. Yes, they put the gate back in place! The price was very reasonable, the workers were pleasant and friendly, and they worked quickly to get it all taken care of. Highly recommend using them if you need tree removal. read more

We had Meridian Tree Service remove three of our old trees. We contacted Meridian Tree based upon the recommendation of my neighbor who has hired them a couple of times. Two of our trees were sick, and needed to come out. One of them was healthy, but was planted too close to the house (Who planted it that close, I wonder? Oh wait, that was me! Doh!) They also ground out one of the stumps. They had a crew of guys who came in and made short-order of the three trees. They cleaned up AMAZINGLY, and you could hardly tell that any work had been done. It was like three trees just disappeared. We immediately planted another smaller tree in the spot where the stump got grounded out, so that job appeared to be well done too. All in all, while it was sad to see our trees go, the experience with Meridian Tree Service was excellent! Also, I can tell you that their bid price was lower than the other contractor that we got a quote from, so saving $$$ is also a plus. read more

We can't say enough about how pleased we were with Meridian Tree Service. From the initial call for a quote, they were friendly and professional. Communicating the available schedule, when to expect the company that would locate utilities, and when the actual job would be done was so important. Many other services have not had the courtesy to even return calls. When the day came, they arrived on time, reviewed the job again, and were very accommodating with a few last-minute changes. They were completely done, thoroughly cleaned up, in a couple of hours. We highly recommend! read more

Just had Meridian Tree Service out to top, trim, and round out our cherry tree in our backyard. Tyler and his team did a great job. Also, I won't be having to duck around lower branches when I mow next spring. The trimmed, shaped and cut out "cross" growths. Then they cleaned up like they'd never been here! I also thought their pricing was very reasonable. Call Dennis (208-887-0055). read more

We had 3 20ft + trees thinned and trimmed. Meridian Tree Service was very affordable, on time, and finished quickly for the job we had done. The customer service was excellent. They cleaned up the debris and took it away. Our yard looks fantastic! We made a good choice to choose them. read more

Was very pleased with the professionalism and service completed by Meridian Tree Service. I would certainly recommend them.

Dennis came out promptly and gave me a detailed written quote after we had viewed and discussed the four trees that needed major trimming. He and his crew arrived right on time this morning and four hours later, the job was finished, and I am delighted with the result. It wasn't easy as huge limbs were hanging over two different neighbors' yards. They cleaned up all debris AND even blew 30 years worth of juniper needles off of the corrugated patio cover, which were packed down and stuck like glue. (By the way, my backyard is very inaccessible, but Dennis and his employees are used to challenges, so it wasn't a huge problem but did require extra time and effort transferring the limbs to the wood-chipper parked out front, on the other side of my picket fence.) read more

Supposed to arrive between noon and 3. My husband and I finished our errands early so we'd be home all afternoon. I specifically told the service when I set up the appointment that, if they got lost, to call us for directions. But we heard from no one, and no one showed up at our house. Received no service whatsoever. read more

Excellent Service! We are so PLEASED with the quality work Dennis and his crew did. Removed 2 trees, shaped and trimmed 6-8 others. Removed all excess debris. Friendly and dependable service. Meridian Tree Service just removed 4 trees for us. Wonderful work and clean up. Amazingly the price was great too!

Wonderful service! I called for an estimate for some work on some old trees in my moms yard and Dennis came right out. We had questions about some of the older trees in the yard and he answered all our questions, recommending which ones were diseased and should be removed and which ones were healthy and could stay with a good pruning. He explained each option and "showed" us the state of all the trees, (didn't just wave a hand and say "this has to go" and "this can stay" like others had done.) He explained the condition of each tree and what our options were. This was very helpful and informative. We immediately accepted their bid and set up an appointment. Dennis and Tyler showed up on the scheduled day and started right in on the work. During the whole process, when we would stick our "nosey-parker" outside, Dennis answered all our dumb questions and explained what was going on. It took them one afternoon and the following morning to complete the work. One tree was up and over the roof of the deck and another was out over the fence into the neighbors yard and not a single branch touched our deck roof or the fence. A few of the branches that fell into the neighbors yard, were promptly removed and cleaned up. It was amazing to watch. My mom was so impressed with their professionalism and how well they treated us, especially with her being an 82 year old woman, that she decided Dennis was her new best friend! Not once did Dennis talk down to us or dismiss our annoying, curious questions. After their work was done, they cleaned everything up so well, that if the trees hadn't been gone, you would never have known they had even been there. Exceptional job done by exceptional people. read more
