Stopped here for an early breakfast on our road trip. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly. Never had to ask for a refill on my coffee and the biscuits and gravy I had was excellent and only $4.99! Was a bit too early to eat for us, so we enjoyed it on the road later :p. read more

Stopped in here for breakfast on a Saturday morning as we were passing through. Our waitress was amazing; very friendly and attentive. I got the Strawberries and Cream Belgian Liege Waffle with a side of bacon and my wife had the 2 eggs breakfast, sun side up, with ham. All of our food was yummy. I have to say the bacon was cooked perfectly. We will definitely consider returning if we find ourselves in the area again. read more

We stopped here on our way to Zion. We wanted something quick to eat in the car, but not "fast food" Timberline was perfect! We called as we were driving and ordered sandwiches with fries to go. They were all very tasty! Fries were nice and crispy. Great stop! read more

Was recommended as the only nicer restaurant in town. It's an ok place but it's more like a Dennys except pricier. The food was ok but the waitress was a little sarcastic when I said we would share something. Her response was "of course you will". I also asked if they served alcohol and was told no but I see on other reviews they serve beer! The location is easy to find with adequate parking. There is a motel right behind it so lodging is close. Easy freeway access. I love Utah because of the warm friendly people. Unfortunately none of them work here. read more

My family of 5 all found something to love, the kids saying "Give this place 5 stars on Yelp!" It doesn't look like much, but the quality of food & taste was top-notch. We had the French Dip, Jalapeño Blue burger, chicken strips & fries, and even my 13 yo vegetarian enjoyed the salad bar & veggie chowder. Looking forward to visiting this place again on our next drive through. read more

We stayed here while passing Utah and stayed in a comfortable room of western themed rooms. They have a lodge, a quiet lobby, and just enough room to make it through the night. No it isn't a luxury hotel, but it's suitable enough to be on the road the next day. I personally had lots of fun, and a full night of rest while sleeping in the bedroom. Clean restrooms with lots of mirrors. read more

Timberline Restaurant - They are just off this exit, you'll see this sign first - American Near Me - Beaver, Utah

First impression was truck stop diner. Second impression was I didn't consult Yelp so was shocked at the dinner menu selection and prices. It had $15-$20 entrees which you can see in the menu pictures. The anticipation of average was about to change. I ordered the pork chops, smashed red potatoes, and grilled asparagus. My wife had the blackened chicken salad and my sister had the power salad. We'll start with the salads. Spectacular and huge. Order 1 and split it. Both could finish their plate. The pork chops. Best pork chop dinner I've ever had. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and I couldn't eat it all. The only downside is we were so full we didnt order the pie. Bravo and worthy of a Yelp review. When we do it again we'll split a salad and split the pork chops and order the pie. Total bill $44 for three. read more

We stopped here on the way back to Salt Lake City after a long road trip and they were very accommodating of 9 of us, very near to closing time (10pm on a Sunday night). The food is way over and above what we were expecting. No fast or frozen food here. Varied menu and reasonably priced. Highly recommended. read more

Just off the freeway, in the middle of a road trip, and my daughter and I both wanted to take a break from the usual fast food road trip fare. This was an excellent choice; a gem convenient to our travel plans. Service was fast and friendly, and the food excellent for the price. A fair crowd was there, but we were given a clean comfortable booth immediate service. The waitress followed up regularly, but not so much as to be annoying. I had a wedge salad and steak sandwich, both of which were excellent. My daughter had her first Monte Cristo with fries, which was also excellent. She had some hot chocolate for desert, and said it was the best she'd ever had. This will be a regular stop in the future! read more

I NEVER write poor reviews. But this place... Food was good. I agree with the previous Yelper, taco salad was dry, but very tasty. My boyfriend had an omelette. He liked it. Despite being located right off the highway, they seem to cater to locals. Or maybe it was that they do NOT cater to travellers. Had to ask for drinks. Waitress was just generally absent. And the place was not busy. No drink refills. No, how's everything... And, although not the fault of the waitress, the local couple, who were cheerfully greeted, and seated near us, were very obviously looking and judging and whispering. Incredibly rude and in poor taste. Were it not for the fact that she was also the cashier, my boyfriend would not have tipped her. And he is an extremely easy going guy. Yah, they can cater to whomever they choose. And yah, I'm gonna yelp about it. read more

Hello, I recently visited this restaurant with my son. We went inside presuming this restaurant as a good place to eat from it's reviews by past customers. As we are seated we are given our menus and we sat there for 30 minutes, while they are working around us trying to get out at closing time with many other customers seated. 30 minutes pass and we decide to leave. As we walk pass the front register the same person who seated us says, "Have a good night!" We had the worst service by a restaurant in a long while. read more

Good place if you are driving thru and hungry... I have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. The pies deserve 5 stars - especially with ice cream. I also like the montecristo sandwich. Pretty decent fair for Beaver, Utah. This place is kind of infamous now as a shooting and homicide took place here a couple years ago. read more

After reading the reviews on this place we thought we would try it out, and I was very disappointed, I got a cup of chill and it came in a cup with a broken handle (glass) no biggie but the chill wow it tasted like it came out of a can, Blah. I also got the Famous Monte Cristo and it was hardly famous the ham and turkey was cold and there wasn't much of it in the two slices of white bread. My buddy got the salad bar and what was on his plate was frighteing, he took two bites and was done with it. He did get spagetti and the portion was huge he said the bread looks good but isn't good at all, he said the spagetti was alright nothing speical. This is the second time I had been here and will most likely be the last. read more

Timberline Restaurant - American Near Me - Beaver, Utah

There were 7 adults and 2 children in our group for breakfast. The waitress was great. She was friendly and was able to remember our orders and keep up with the pace of a group of nine. She was right on top of the drinks....coffee, orange juice and waters for all. Various orders from pancakes, omelets. eggs and bacon, eggs and ham and the kids breakfasts. My order was 2 eggs (over medium), 4 strips bacon (crisp and dry), hashbrowns and sour dough toast. Everything was purfect!! I was hungry so I asked to try their 1/2 order of B&G and if she could bring it ahead of time. Less than 2 minutes she brought my biscuits and gravy and set it down in front of me. As it passed in front of me I caught a whiff of a aroma that I hadn't experienced in years. This was a B&G that was served at the Rainbow Club Restaurant in Henderson, NV many years back. My first bite was great. I had my wife taste it and she agreed that it tasted just like the Rainbows. She aske the waitress if she could have some gravy for her hasbrowns and she brought some at no addtional charge The order was only $3.75 and it also came with hashbrowns. Everyone's orders were great. This is a place that I will schedule my trips to be in this area for breakfast. When we got back on the road......I talked about the food for manymiles If the rest of the food is like breakfast....it is worth the stop. Enjoy! read more

We stopped here on our way to Denver because of all the positive yelp reviews. The restaurant itself is immaculate and the food is pretty good. Our waitress was terrible. She was rude to my husband and I. We watched several tables be served before us even though we had ordered before they had been seated. She then served my sandwich to the wrong table, brought the hubs sandwich without fries and literally tossed the plates on the table. The food was not so fantastic to put up with being treated like dirt. read more

Expensive. When I walked in the door and saw the nightly special sign that prime rib was $26, I was a little shocked. I felt like the prices were high. We each opted for a French dip roast beef sandwich which was 10 each. It came with either potato salad or coleslaw. I wanted a side salad and that is $3.05 extra. The salad bar was average. The French dip was good. I will admit the roast beef on the sandwich was tender and flavorful. It tasted like a home cooked Sunday dinner, pot roast. The roll it was served on was toasted and dense. The perfect pairing. My husband got the coleslaw. It tasted homemade and was cold, crispy and creamy. We liked our sandwiches but we probably won't return because the prices were too high for us. We stop in Beaver for fuel, to street our legs and a good bite of food. We'll go back to Arshell's in town rather than this place. read more

Referred here by 2 locals and we dined on 10/16/11. We were a party of 4 adults, a toddler and an infant. We were greeted immediately by friendly staff and seated withing 1 minute of walking in at dinner time (plenty of people eating). Waitress came over right away and took drink orders. She came back and politely answered our many questions about the menu. One of us had the special-pot roast with mashed potatoes and bread. She also ordered the one trip salad bar. She asked the waitress if there would be a lot of fat and if it would be tender. Waitress said very little fat and very tender, and she was right on. Amazingly good. Salad bar was a little low stocked probably due to the dinner crowd but was replenished when we told the waitress. 2 of us had the simple burgers/chesseburgers. They were cooked the way we asked, came with fries and were very good. Not a single complaint. 1 of us also had the Monte Cristo and he was pleased. Nothing to rave about but cooked and tasted just fine. The toddler had the kids pancakes and there was plenty and they were very good. Crisp on the outside and fluffy soft inside. All of the food was served promptly, the temperature was hot and the staff was great. They were quick with the drink refills, and came back plenty of times to check on us. They helped us with a broken highchair and told us not to worry about our kids being a little too noisy. They truly provided a family feeling and we were pleasantly surprised. The prices here were amazingly affordable in comparison to the portions. Thank goodnesss the Paradise Inn was closed due to remodel because that's where we were planning to eat based on the Yelp reviews. I truly recommend anyone to eat here. read more

I'm giving this five stars and perhaps it is because I'm in a great mood after returning for lovely vacation weekend but honestly, there isn't anything negative I can say about this place. They serve breakfast until 3:00pm, their pancakes are delicious, they have excellent bacon. The restaurant itself is nice. The decor fits the area perfectly. And the staff is ridiculously friendly. Although not a surprise in small town Utah. Loved it and recommend it highly. Although I can only speak for breakfast. read more

Delicious food! Wonderful service! Tish was our server. She recommended the turkey, bacon , avocado sandwich for lunch. It was very good! I highly recommend this place on your way through Beaver. read more

I would have really loved to eat here with my husband but when we called the lady was EXTREMELY rude when all we did was ask how long the wait was. After being told it would be an hour we asked if we could make a reservation and were told we couldn't even make one for only two people. Sorry to the lady who works the phone for trying to give you business! Hope you have a better night! Maybe one day we'll get better service. read more

On a road trip between Vegas and Wyoming, we stopped in Beaver to fuel up. Right behind the gas station was this little gem! We were pleasantly surprised! Friendly service (albeit a little slow if you're in a rush), the food, while not ingenious, and having rather basic menu items, was quite good. The ingredients seemed to be fresh, and well cooked. The place was kinda dingy looking - Reminded me (like from the outside) of what I would expect from a Denny's, and had no charm.... But the food was actually pretty good. Fairly priced too. This will become a go to spot for me, when I'm on the road. read more

Surprisingly fabulous food for a small town!! My very picky husband had the salmon and shrimp and said it was likely the best he has ever had in his life. Nice salad bar. All home cooked food. Very attentive wait staff. Highly recommend! Worth stopping for!!! read more

Lousy service...expensive $8.25 for a single 3" diameter Belgian waffle. I won't be coming back anytime soon. Not vegetarian friendly

Very good food! Steaks cooked correct! Great service! Very friendly atmosphere! Good stop and great prices!

Expected this to be another roadside Dennys, just not a Dennys. While it does have the appearance of a chain coffeeshop, it's clear it's an independent restaurant with nicer decor, very friendly (genuinely) and warm staff and the food was really tasty. I had a chicken sandwich which was top notch. My friend had a slice of one of their pies and she loved it. The prices were perfectly reasonable. An excellent choice for stopping along the interstate. read more

Stopped here on our way in to Utah from California. Food was amazing! I had the Monte Crisco and my husband had the fish and chips. The coleslaw and potato salads we had with our meals are made at the restaurant and are really good. The service was great also! read more

Pretty Darn Good Food. We were staying the night in Beaver, Utah, on our way to California, and were told at our Motel that the Timberline Inn was a good bet for food. It was. I got the Chicken Farfalle, which is Grilled breast of chicken, oven roasted tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, and spinach, tossed with a mild garlic cream sauce and farfalle pasta and fresh focaccia bread. As always, I asked for extra sauce, I like my food to have plenty of sauce, when it's an option. I got extra sauce, which I must say was quite tasty. The one complaint that I had with the Chicken Farfalle was that there should have been more chicken and less pasta, the chicken was a bit "Sparse" So, more chicken, less pasta and maybe, maybe 1 piece of the focaccia, at most 2 pieces, as this is a very filling meal. The salad bar is in need of updating, it reminded me of a salad bar from the early `80's. Ice Berg lettuce ONLY, no Mixed Greens Lettuce, not too many vegetables, real good fresh Broccoli though, and I don't think more than 1 of the dressing spoons had the name of the dressing on it, it was kind of a guess as to what you were getting. And...They Have Beer! (Thank You, Lord!) My daughter had the Chicken Avocado Sandwich, which was Grilled chicken breast, avocados, tomatoes, and lettuce, on a toasted french roll. That looked real good, and my daughter confirmed it. Good Food at Good Prices. (You could spend quite a bit on a meal here, if you wanted steak, or one of the main dishes for dinner, but you can also get many items for a decent price, which is what we did.) read more

Best place in town. I have been here for 7 days and finally tried this place. This was the last place I tried before heading back home to LA. I had the pot roast and it was of the hook. LOVED IT. If you try to find the best place to eat in town take my word: This is it. Just eating their blue berry pie and it is home made...really good. I asked waitress before ordering and she assured me that pot roast and everything else I ate was home made and it tastes just like it. Kinda strange that all restaurants in town had this week cream of broccoli soup when I came in but some of the other places used boxed soup. Not this place. Fresh homemade and extremely delicious. Just tried it for yourself you won't be disappointed. read more

This place is an absolute hell hole!! Cramped entrance with completely disorganized service. I can't even tell you about the food as our table of 4 never got water or our orders taken while a table twice our size and seated after us was already being served their drinks and having orders taken. What a complete disgrace to owning a food establishment!!!! read more

Timberline always has good food. I especially enjoy their breakfast menu, though lunch and dinner are good too. I have had a couple of instances where the wait staff seemed more interested in standing around chatting than taking our order, but that's my only complaint.
