The general manager we worked with, Luke Woodside, was exceptionally responsive and cooperative. We looked over the progress nightly and gave feedback regularly. Luke was always happy to work with us and incorporate our feedback. I could not have asked for a better GM. 2. Elkstone gave us discounts twice during the project. Once due to a better price we got on tile, and once due to a plumbing issue they made good on. 3. The salesman/designer we worked with, Chad Jarrell, was efficient and professional. His design only needed minor tweaks to match our preferences. The contract he provided was clear with no major surprises. 4. The overall cost (about $50k for about 750 total square feet) was high, but in-line with all other quotes we got. And the fact that they promised and did finish the project in about 5 weeks is incredible. Cons: 1. As with any contractors, we needed to keep a close eye on the project and give input to make sure everything in the design was met. This is not unique to Elkstone, but they are no exception. 2. There was an issue with the tile contractor needing to be a certain company that I did not like. 3. They said they would estimate the cost of permitting within $20, but they were off by well over $400. Not a huge deal, but annoying. Overall, I recommend Elkstone and would use them again.

I strongly regret choosing this contractor for our basement renovation. What should have been an…read moreexciting investment in our home became an extremely stressful, expensive, and disappointing experience. There were far too many problems to consider this acceptable workmanship or customer service. During the project, they broke our window--not once, but twice. They damaged our sliding door and caused significant damage to our large concrete patio that was ultimately deemed unrepairable. These are not minor inconveniences; these are substantial damages to a customer's property. What made the situation even worse was how these problems were handled. Instead of taking responsibility and working with us to resolve the issues, we were repeatedly made to feel as though the problems were somehow our fault. As customers, we were essentially blamed for issues that occurred during a construction project happening in our own home. We expected accountability and professionalism, instead, we experienced what felt like repeated attempts to deflect responsibility. The quality of the finished work was also unacceptable. Paint is already peeling from the trim and "custom cabinets" I was told the paint is just sticky and always will be...there were areas of work that were incomplete or needed to be redone. We will ultimately have to hire someone else to come in and fix these issues as Elkstone deemed the project completed. Not once did we feel that the company truly acknowledged the impact their mistakes had on us or took meaningful responsibility for them. Construction projects inevitably have problems. Mistakes can happen. What separates a good contractor from a bad one is how they respond when those mistakes happen. In our experience, the response was to minimize the problems, shift blame, and leave us to deal with the consequences. We trusted Elkstone with a major investment in our home, and that trust was unfortunately misplaced. We were left with damaged property, unfinished and defective work, additional contractor expenses, and an experience that was far more stressful than it ever should have been.

For this bathroom project, our installer was Juan Y and he was meticulous! Juan was very courteous and notified us each morning with a text message that he was on his way. The old tile shower, vanity, sink and toilet were removed to facilitate new flooring, a new solid surface shower, and a new vanity with sink and quartz top. Floating shelves were installed above the toilet to match the cabinet color. Open shelving was installed to replace a small linen closet. We updated electrical lighting and fan along with a new coat of paint. Project manager was Tim and he was very attentive to answering any questions and making sure the job was completed on time. We highly recommend Dun-Rite for your remodeling needs.

The short review is the end result of my bathroom remodel is nice. But the process and…read morecommunication? Terrible and not worth it. If you're ok with longer than promised timelines, no or messed up communication, broken promises and basically being your own project manager - hire these guys. I too have cracks in other walls from their demo of the bathroom floor - I haven't even taken those repairs on yet. My bathroom overhaul started August 5, 2025. Was told 3 weeks construction and then an additional 4-6 weeks for custom shower glass. Reality was construction took 6 weeks, I had to follow up to make sure the shower glass was even measured/ordered and it then took 9 weeks to come in. Even worse - one piece of glass was damaged on install and the replacement took an additional 9 weeks. My project was finally complete on January 30, 2026. Along the way, the project manager decided I didn't need a way to contact him so never gave me his phone number. The person doing the work would say he'll arrive at 8-9 AM and then show up hours later. I had random people showing up to do work that wasn't ready yet. While out of town for a few days (I gave them the dates from the beginning), I got called because the flooring installer was on my front porch. When I returned, no follow up and days later I called the office to ask for a finish date. You know, I have nothing better to do than sit and wait to see if someone shows up every day. Couple weeks later, I noticed missing grout at the bottom of the shower tile - called for help. No response. After waiting weeks, I finally grouted it myself. They did call very promptly every couple of weeks to ask if the final building inspection could be done to close out the permit. Given I had no shower glass, I said no. I was asked couldn't I just put up a temporary shower curtain? Again, no. You'll get your inspection when I get use of my full bathroom again. Two final straws for me - after the damaged glass panel install, one of their employees called and asked if I "really needed it replaced, couldn't I just accept it". Wow. I also got a request for feedback, which I gave and the employee said wow, I am so sorry, we'd like to send you a gift card to go to dinner for all the trouble. That was in November. Now it's nearly the end of March and no gift card ever surfaced. If you can't keep a small promise, what makes anyone think you'll keep a big one? Never again and I'll be sure not to recommend this wrecking crew to anyone.

Our showers were leaking through the ceiling below and we could only take baths! I contacted a bunch of companies to see about fixing the issues. Jim from All About Bathrooms got back to me promptly and set up a FaceTime consultation to take a look at our situation. His assessment lined up with the other companies that we had take a look. His quote process was straightforward and we used All About Bathrooms to demo and rebuild our bathrooms (the issues the previous owners left us required a full rebuild of the showers). His team was professional, punctual, and got the job done well. Our project was complicated and had more than a few challenges but they handled them all. In a time when you hear stories about people being left in the lurch during rennovation projects it was great to have Jim and his team taking care of us. He was actually able to start work earlier than expected, which is not something you often hear about contractors. The end results look beautiful and more importantly are now done right, so we don't have to worry about passing on a problem to the next owners whenever we move away. I would recommend All About Bathrooms to anyone and would work with them again.

Our master suite bathroom was a typical 5 pieces - large garden tub, small shower, toilet and double sinks. We've been in the house for 10+ years and have used the tub twice - both times was to wash the dogs. It was time for a new bathroom. I called 3 places for bids and one of them was All About Bathrooms. Based on Jim's suggestion we removed the tub all together in favor of a large walk-in shower. The entire process with Jim and crew was painless. We are extremely happy with our new bath room. Our next projects are the remodel of the guest bathroom and the kitchen cabinets replacements which we will call on Jim again. So, whenever you are ready with your project give Jim at All About Bathrooms a call. You will not be disappointed.

They did an extremely great job. They had helped discover that there was a leak an extension of the house where a window install took place only it wasn't noticed because my mother kept plants crowding the window. They worked diligently in fixing that leak and it was great for several months. They did say that the patchwork was not going to last long and was going to need that section of the roof replace because the original design was faulty. Since they guarantee their work for 2 years, it leaked again in a few months and they patched up the work again but said they did such a good job that the entire roof does not need to be replaced they could have very well replaced the entire roof and charged us. But they did not. Their work stands today in 2024 no issues and no problems. They recommended an interior person to help fix and reinstall the old wood paneling that my parents liked. The same person also insulated my garage and discovered the pylons holding up the living room on the extension that was built above the garage head rusted through.( that's a long story on my house foundation) My father offer them to build our back deck, and normally they don't do that kind of thing just Roofing and gutters what they did that as a favor to my dad. Unfortunately, due to covid lockdowns project was unable to get underway until a year and a half later. My father passed in 2020. When they finally got the deck underway they even pitched in a plaque in honor of the passing of my parents and finish the deck. Before the deck was constructed the meticulously made sure the materials were spot on and there were multiple mistakes by the suppliers and they made sure to return those materials and get the correct ones. Unlike most places that I've dealt with they usually charge or come up with some reason do not return materials or just work what they got without telling the customer and you don't find out till someone else points it out past the guarantee. Tamara made sure the suppliers were held accountable. That project was finished in 2022 The most current project I asked them to work on was installing a solar-powered attic fan because the attic fan was holding in heat and raise my energy costs along with cooking the shingles. Unlike the other company that I was just going to install some plastic extenders that go under the shingles I had a feeling it was bull crap I just wanted to see what they would say. Monumental did they install at almost a third of the cost. Monumental has always been honest, open, reasonable, and diligent. In my book they are a six-star company!!!!
