Before they began cutting…read moreI asked them to produce their permit for the removal of the tree (Required by law in Atlanta). When they failed to produce the permit I informed them they and/or my neighbor would be subject to a fine and weren't allowed to remove the tree. They chose to begin cutting the tree anyway at my neighbors behest, while I was still standing underneath the tree, so you can add reckless endangerment to the list of things they elected to do incorrectly. Awhile later I got to watch as they were escorted away by police after significant damage to the tree. In short, these folks are absolute clowns, don't know the legality of removing a tree near/on a property line, nor do they understand the permitting required for the area they service.
