    Grilled cheese & chips.

Here's another newish establishment in downtown Priest River located in a historic building. The bar showcases large blown up photographs from days long gone of the area. The motif is fairly NW typical with a wood flair, the area is open and airy, cafeteria like. The bar is made of one big beautiful slab but is quite high and the stools not for those whom wish to linger longer (even when you have plenty of built-in padding) in my honest opinion. You may want to opt for a booth seat along the wall instead. There is one tv at the bar but the rest of the place is pleasantly devoid encouraging interaction and conversation. The owner is local, grew up in Sandpoint, and crafts his own brew right in house! There is a hallway, which leads to the restrooms, with a view of the operation. I was pleasantly surprised to find out on Tuesday nights they play bingo (free) for "prizes" like beer or a t-shirt. I believe I overheard on Wednesdays it's trivia, but I'd call to confirm. I had a couple pints of their in-house made tangerine hefeweizen, which is their most popular, and it was wonderful! Can't wait to try their other selections. (See pic.) I also ordered the grilled cheese. It had a few different types of cheeses and his own homemade bacon jam. Even though it was presented on plain white bread, it brought out the kid in me and satisfied my salty cheese cravings. Your choice of bagged chips came with it. I will return for a more substantial offering but also the fun gigantic salted pretzel!

Very nice microbrew. Upscale feel but comfortably casual atmosphere. I loved the dark brew

Every beer we tried was absolutely phenomenal! Great atmosphere as well. Wish we didn't live 45 minutes away or we would be regulars.

QBC is my 308th brewery! Not exactly local for us but it was a great little day trip…read more It was pretty cold so no outside seating today but no worries as QBC has a nice indoor bar area. I told the beer tender to set me up with a flight of five, while SWPFTD ordered a pint of the Angel Peak Amber. Purple Flat Top hazy IPA is a really good IPA with great hop flavor but very manageable bitterness. Peewee Falls hoppy Pilsner didn't work for me. It had a little bit of an aroma and flavor that didn't appeal. YMMV. Timber Mountain tripel was good for me. I was tempted to go with a pint of this but decided on another. Iron Mountain stout had a nice roasty chocolatey flavor to it. Very drinkable! Bangs Mountain dark Kolsch was a good beer as well. I also tried the amber which SWPFTD ordered. This was a decent little amber. SWPFTD approved. Our daughter-in-law had ordered the wassail and it was pretty cool to see they had one on. I decided to go ahead and revisit the hazy IPA. They don't have food at QBC but they had a food truck when we arrived. Lola's Good Eats was REALLY good! QBC is a great spot. Great beer and all! If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you! I hope my confidence is not misplaced.

Great food, hospitality, restaurant, and beer. I ordered a flight off of the drink menu and I ended up just ordering all four of their ciders since I was very interested in the flavors. My favorites were the Bluebird and huckleberry but all four were great. I also got the PBJ burger which was one of the most unique burgers I've ever had and also one of the best. It has a super interesting dynamic with the peanut butter and jalapeno jam. I didn't have any beer myself but everyone in my family loved their pecan porter, so order that for sure. I wasn't able to see the entire brewery but it looks really cool from the inside. Definitely come here.

Great atmosphere with plenty of TV's to enjoy baseball and the Olympics. Great selection of food, we started with the pretzel and beer cheese sauce. All our entrees came out hot and were delizioso. Sat inside because we had showers but all n all a great spot for beer and food. Don't miss out on this local place. Ciao

And if you know me, that says EVERYTHING. The crazy part? The ranch was actually really good too... I just didn't need it. The pizza was perfectly balanced, crispy, cheesy, flavorful just chef's kiss. The beers? Crisp. Smooth. So good. The aesthetics? On point. Live music... on a Wednesday night?? Super fire. For a second I felt like I was in Hawaii or something warm vibes, good energy then I stepped outside and remembered it's cold. What really stood out though? The owner actually came out, shook hands, hung out, and still ate there. That's rare. It's always a good sign when the owner is present and genuinely cares about the space and the people in it. Service was amazing. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was amazing. Honestly wish I could give it more than 5 stars. If you're looking for a spot to connect, chill, have good beer, eat amazing pizza, and just vibe go check out Trails End Brewery. Definitely will be back.
