I was thrilled to find an excellent gluten free meal, plus a fun wine selection and good cider options, which I really appreciate since I cannot have beer. It looked like they had a solid beer list as well for those who can enjoy it. The customer service was fantastic. I believe her name was Kylie, and she was so helpful in guiding me toward a few bottles to take home for my trip. Super knowledgeable and welcoming. I definitely recommend stopping in. Visited this afternoon and were very pleased. First off we were great very enthusiastically by the staff . Cameron explained how things worked as far as ordering ect. The building is right on the lake/harbor with patio seating overlooking it. We ordered a flight of four ciders and two appetizers and went to our table . The tap selection was very nice and varied.The food selection was nice with a selection of salads, appetizers , soup and sandwiches. We had the bacon wrapped dates and prosciutto flatbread with cheese and pears. After the ciders we did a flight of Pino Gri and a chicken and Brie sandwich. Everything was delicious. The waitstaff was Johnny on the spot but not obtrusive. We will be back when we return to the north next spring read more

It was $18 for FIVE DATES. the meals were small like appetizers, and they tasted like they were out of a bag and microwaved. We asked the people about it and they said they did heat it up. Barrell 33 has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with tables, chairs, and little nooks for seating. It is decorated with local art, and you can even bring your dog! My husband and I stopped in for a light lunch last week. Service was friendly and the server made thoughtful suggestions for wine and beer to go with our salads. They have a small, but well-curated menu of snacks, salads, and sandwiches. My only complaint is that the prices are pretty steep for Sandpoint. read more

I am a local, but originally from Northern California. We are very familiar with wines and wine prices as we are members of several California wineries and the local one in Sandpoint. The decor is amazing and there was a lot of thought and effort put into this establishment. We appreciate the fact that Barrel 33 supports many Idaho and Washington wineries. But.... the rest goes downhill from here. We had no problem with ordering at the counter. However, you pay and tip up front. It would have been nice to know that one of the wines we ordered wasn't available after it was paid for. (We understand that there was an issue with some damage, but they should have checked before we ordered and paid). We also ordered an appetizer, and were halfway through our wines before we let them know we were still waiting on the appetizer. The young lady apologized, and quickly went back to prepare it. The place was not packed or overly busy, so that was not an issue. We can go to several other establishments in town and pay almost 1/2 less the cost for the same amount of the same wines. Maybe tourists can afford this, but many locals won't. We will be sticking to our normal places. read more

Amazing location and ambiance. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about all the local draft beers. We took our servers suggestion on food and everything was delicious and well presented. The pretzel bites were a huge hit with me and the kids and our guests loved the charcuterie and flatbread. I didn't try any wine during our visit but will be back soon to remedy that issue. We got to meet and chat with the owners who were gracious and easy to talk to. Their daughter and our daughter became fast friends too. It was a great place to meet our friends and relax and ended up being a fun time for our toddlers too. Keep up the good work, will be back for sure and bringing more friends from CDA. read more
