Great day for a boat ride to Barrel33. Parked in front of restaurant at public dock and walked right in. Full bar was nice. Food was excellent! We were the first to try Jim the Bar Manager's new Huckleberry Old Fashion! Delicious! Service was top notch delivered outside by the water. Portions were just right. Popped in for an impromptu Mother's Day bar crawl and had a blast! We didn't grab any food, but the cider and atmosphere were top-tier. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and we spent our time lounging on the back patio. It was such a pleasant, relaxing experience--definitely a highlight of our day! read more

Stopped into this local wine bar and had such a great experience! I was thrilled to find an excellent gluten free meal, plus a fun wine selection and good cider options, which I really appreciate since I cannot have beer. It looked like they had a solid beer list as well for those who can enjoy it. The customer service was fantastic. I believe her name was Kylie, and she was so helpful in guiding me toward a few bottles to take home for my trip. Super knowledgeable and welcoming. I definitely recommend stopping in. It also looks like they host some really fun events, so I will absolutely be back. read more

Visited this afternoon and were very pleased. First off we were great very enthusiastically by the staff . Cameron explained how things worked as far as ordering ect. The building is right on the lake/harbor with patio seating overlooking it. We ordered a flight of four ciders and two appetizers and went to our table . The tap selection was very nice and varied. The food selection was nice with a selection of salads, appetizers , soup and sandwiches. We had the bacon wrapped dates and prosciutto flatbread with cheese and pears. After the ciders we did a flight of Pino Gri and a chicken and Brie sandwich. Everything was delicious. The waitstaff was Johnny on the spot but not obtrusive. We will be back when we return to the north next spring read more

Great selection of beer and ciders. Nice outside seating area for fireworks viewing. BBQ Flatbread was excellent I ordered it TWICE. Sandwich was delicious and flavorful -- easy to share THE HIGHLIGHT: BEST sweet potato fries I've EVER had. Highly recommend. Spoke to the owner and turns out they're air fried. What a win! We came here to try it out, and the view was awesome, but the food and service was horrible. First, the food was very very expensive. It was $18 for FIVE DATES. the meals were small like appetizers, and they tasted like they were out of a bag and microwaved. We asked the people about it and they said they did heat it up. How gross. read more

I had prosciutto flatbread and was horrible. the bread was not cooked, the pear slices(4) tasted and looked like they were laying around for a while. 4 small pieces of tasteless, old and dry prosciutto. what a waste of money. we won't be back for sure. read more

Terrible service. I walk in and seat myself, the waitress asked what I'd like and I needed to look at the drinks. She then proceeded to ignore me and helped several patrons that came in after I did. Then they ignored me. I decided to leave since they didn't want to take my order any more. read more

Barrel 33 Sandpoint - Great food! Awesome staff! - Paint & Sip Near Me - Sandpoint, Idaho

Great food, drinks & staff! Perfect place to bring your pup too, inside or outside, they welcome our furry friends!

Barrell 33 has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with tables, chairs, and little nooks for seating. It is decorated with local art, and you can even bring your dog! My husband and I stopped in for a light lunch last week. Service was friendly and the server made thoughtful suggestions for wine and beer to go with our salads. They have a small, but well-curated menu of snacks, salads, and sandwiches. My only complaint is that the prices are pretty steep for Sandpoint. read more

Not only is the food absolutely scrumptious, but the service is warm and inviting. I love the relaxed feeling you have when visiting during a lunch or a glass of wine after work. This is my go to place for both. Not to mention that their macaroons are to die for. If you are gluten free, you HAVE TO TRY their flat breads. Next time your thinking where so I go to relax and have a wonderful time...... BARREL 33 SANDPOINT Hands down! read more

Terrific service. Beautiful outdoor seating area terraced back, on the water. The food OMGosh absolutely delicious.

Awesome place to hang out with friends and have a very good pizza and one of many beers and wines they have available. Very friendly and helpful servers and as I said very tasty pizza. They had live music with a couple of very talented young men playing guitars and singing classic old rock songs. We'll be back for sure. read more

Soft opening today! Great staff. Really good food. Beer, cider and wine flights. Manny and Elena were very engaging. Everybody that we sat near said they really enjoyed their food, too. Manny built the furniture himself. Check out the photos for the inside. It is really beautiful. Love the couches and chairs option with the shared tables. I've heard that they're going to bring in live music too! read more

I am a local, but originally from Northern California. We are very familiar with wines and wine prices as we are members of several California wineries and the local one in Sandpoint. The decor is amazing and there was a lot of thought and effort put into this establishment. We appreciate the fact that Barrel 33 supports many Idaho and Washington wineries. But.... the rest goes downhill from here. We had no problem with ordering at the counter. However, you pay and tip up front. It would have been nice to know that one of the wines we ordered wasn't available after it was paid for. (We understand that there was an issue with some damage, but they should have checked before we ordered and paid). We also ordered an appetizer, and were halfway through our wines before we let them know we were still waiting on the appetizer. The young lady apologized, and quickly went back to prepare it. The place was not packed or overly busy, so that was not an issue. We can go to several other establishments in town and pay almost 1/2 less the cost for the same amount of the same wines. Maybe tourists can afford this, but many locals won't. We will be sticking to our normal places. read more

It's ok. Food is not amazing. When they have live music it's fantastic and you forget about everything being mediocre. A few of the staff are nice. The I guess owner is pretty rude. Worth it when they have music that's live. Other than that not a place any local will frequent read more

I don't write reviews often, writing one b/c I love this place. 1) did not know there is so much good Washington and Idaho wine.... thought I was in northern CA. 2) staff is super friendly. 3) the ambiance is very nice, playing chill jazz music, the walls have awesome paintings (supposedly from BC). read more

Such a fun place! Had a glass of wine and the hubby had a pint of beer....Sat outside with a gorgeous view of the marina. Super peaceful. It was a Thurs night and was open mic night so we stayed to listen to the music. Families laughing, kids, music...the whole vibe was fabulous! read more

Came here for a night out, thought I'd check it out while in town. Really enjoyed the ambiance they crushed it with the decor. They had a large wine selection that I'm sure will cater to anyone. Stumbled upon this spot and will definitely visit again when I'm in town! Yummy burrata salad, great ambiance and lovely staff!

Amazing location and ambiance. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about all the local draft beers. We took our servers suggestion on food and everything was delicious and well presented. The pretzel bites were a huge hit with me and the kids and our guests loved the charcuterie and flatbread. I didn't try any wine during our visit but will be back soon to remedy that issue. We got to meet and chat with the owners who were gracious and easy to talk to. Their daughter and our daughter became fast friends too. It was a great place to meet our friends and relax and ended up being a fun time for our toddlers too. Keep up the good work, will be back for sure and bringing more friends from CDA. read more
