Last year was the first time for me (although now I realize from other comments that it has happened in previous years, so maybe it depends on the show?) where they didn't open the doors until right before show time, so the outside wait-time and the line to get in were outrageous - like probably 2000+ people long. Throw in a handful of line-minding apparatchiks fecklessly trying to keep the snaking queue shape in its snaking shape in order to make sure the people at the back definitely had to walk as far as possible, which could not have been less necessary or more absurd. On top of that, and on top of other things that have been banned, rolling and hard-sided coolers have now been banned. Definitely no longer worth it. Still some great acts though.

Today the drinks were sub-par. The diet cola has absolutely no carbonation and tasted like syrup on ice. The Bloody Marys were merely tomato water with no spice, no flavor, and little vegetables. When we first asked about having Bloody Mary's, the bartender wasn't sure she could make them. She had to see if there was any mix? It's 11:15 on a Saturday morning during college football season. And they were promoting an All You can Eat Crab Boil starting at noon - so no Bloody Mary drinks available? The only plus is the outside patio area with a nice view of Sand Creek.

Not only did they create an amazing party atmosphere, but Joe the band leader, met with us ahead of time to go over every detail of our musical requests. They learned a special request song that was outside of their normal repertoire and even customized some of the lyrics for us. We were very impressed by this. Toward the later part of the reception they shifted to karaoke and included our guests in the entertainment. Even a year later, folks are still commenting on how much fun they had. Joey reads the crowd amazingly - they did a perfect job DJing cocktail hour, MC'ing our formalities, and most importantly, turning the night into a dance party! We got married outside near the summer solistice, and I wasn't sure if our guests would be excited to dance while it was still light outside - but Joey G and his band really brought the party. We had a lot of singers among our friends, and so we discussed beforehand that our friends might like live-band karaoke it the mood was right - and it was a SMASH HIT among our friends and family. We will never forget our friends, our aunts and uncles, our nieces and nephews, our parents - all getting up and singing with the band at our wedding. It was hilarious and everybody was so into it. Joey really created the party at our wedding, and we're so grateful. The band sounded amazing - and is a big, multi-piece, professional outfit! They are the full experience, and they are world-class. This is a Red Room participant. I'm harassed by them nightly. Multiple vehicles at a time and an entire all night long process of going in and out (multiple vehicles) I have a positive CO level in my blood. They terrorize me. This is what I encountered while outside at my apartment building, trying to get fresh air. I do not know this man, and I have no idea why he'd want me hurt. Look at his eyes. I wouldn't recommend associating with this business. They're truly monsters. He kept getting in my face and following me around. I haven't even ever seen this guy. It's so scary.
