I told the beer tender to set me up with a flight of five, while SWPFTD ordered a pint of the Angel Peak Amber. Purple Flat Top hazy IPA is a really good IPA with great hop flavor but very manageable bitterness. Peewee Falls hoppy Pilsner didn't work for me. It had a little bit of an aroma and flavor that didn't appeal. YMMV. Timber Mountain tripel was good for me. I was tempted to go with a pint of this but decided on another. Iron Mountain stout had a nice roasty chocolatey flavor to it. Very drinkable! Bangs Mountain dark Kolsch was a good beer as well. I also tried the amber which SWPFTD ordered. This was a decent little amber. SWPFTD approved. Our daughter-in-law had ordered the wassail and it was pretty cool to see they had one on. I decided to go ahead and revisit the hazy IPA. They don't have food at QBC but they had a food truck when we arrived. Lola's Good Eats was REALLY good! QBC is a great spot. Great beer and all! Not the best I ever had but solid all the same. Flavor highlights with this lager is a citrus flavor along with crispness and cleaness upon the tongue. A nice, light beer to enjoy in humid toastiness that Sandpoint was apparently unseasonably experiencing when I was visiting.

The owner actually came out, shook hands, hung out, and still ate there. That's rare. It's always a good sign when the owner is present and genuinely cares about the space and the people in it. Several times I have stopped there, written down exactly what I wanted with my contact number. I was promised a return call after they spoke with their distributor, but no call ever came. The last instance was three weeks ago. I waited two weeks and nothing. So, last week I returned to the store to see what happened. I was greeted with a defensive, woke attitude and non-sensical excuses. Worse, they couldn't even find the order I had written. Again, I was promised a call on the following Monday, 3 days ago and again nothing. The bottom line is when you make a customer a promise you need to keep it, especially when you've broken promises in the past. A good company with good customer service would first apologize, then work hard to rectify the situation. Yet, no apology was ever provided and quite obviously, the situation was never rectified. I don't patronize businesses that possess distain and indifference to their customers and you shouldn't either.

If you are not going to be open to the public for an entire day then please put up a sign saying so…read moreinstead of one saying just being closed 2-5 for a private event.
