They freely admit they will special order beer and under the old management, the process was simple and straightforward. Under the new management is has been anything but. Several times I have stopped there, written down exactly what I wanted with my contact number. I was promised a return call after they spoke with their distributor, but no call ever came. The last instance was three weeks ago. I waited two weeks and nothing. So, last week I returned to the store to see what happened. I was greeted with a defensive, woke attitude and non-sensical excuses. Worse, they couldn't even find the order I had written. Again, I was promised a call on the following Monday, 3 days ago and again nothing. The bottom line is when you make a customer a promise you need to keep it, especially when you've broken promises in the past. A good company with good customer service would first apologize, then work hard to rectify the situation. Yet, no apology was ever provided and quite obviously, the situation was never rectified. I don't patronize businesses that possess distain and indifference to their customers and you shouldn't either. read more

Idaho Pour Authority - Number 16, cider. From Spokane. - Cheese Shops Near Me - Sandpoint, Idaho

I visited Pour Authority for the second year in a row and I love this place for what it is. They have great beers on tap, with something for every beer tastebud. I tried the "Everybody's" local pale ale this time around and really liked it. Easy to drink, crisp, and she offered us a smaller size since it normally comes poured as a 16 oz. They have everything under the sun in their refrigerators- from stouts to ciders to high alcohol kombuchas. I also love that they have beers, etc. along the walls that you can buy and take home to your fridge for later. They had local beers for Idaho, and local beers for myself as a Chico (Sierra Nevada Brewing) resident. They are dog AND outside food friendly which is a huge plus since we make day trips from Priest River and have dogs in tow. Their game selection is great, bathrooms are clean, and their interior decorations are on point. I'll be back next year, ID PA! read more

My favorite hang out in Sandpoint. Friendly staff with a huge selection of the best beers in the inland Northwest and beyond. Live music, trivia, bingo. It's just a really fun place to relax and enjoy a beer. read more

A little off the beaten path but worth stopping in. Great selection of Northwest brews to complement Sandpoint's growing breweries. Had a delicious calzone and will definitely order a pizza next time I'm in town. read more

Can't go wrong here. Charcuterie and beer or wine. Always good. Beer selection is phenomenal. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. read more

What a great place, craft beers, and great food. Craft beers to go. Some of the best selection of craft beers I've ever seen. Their cheese platters are perfect. The staff is super friendly and the place is super clean. read more

Great servers, friendly vibe, cider/gluten free beer selection was limited but at least there were a few options, no food except packaged chips. read more

An overwhelming number of options but the most helpful staff around. 12 beers on tap, a good selection of wine (including a huckleberry blush when we were there) and cheese to balance things out. Say hi to the local dogs who are chilling (and enjoying an occasional treat from the staff) while their owners sip beer and chat. This is totally a local hangout. A great house band keeps the vibe chill - a great way to spend an evening! read more

We loved the Pour Authority so much that we visited this spot twice in our 3 day visit to SandPoint. They have a great selection of beer and cider from all over the northwest, including 10 or so beers on draft. You can pick a can or bottle from the giant coolers and drink it there (they'll pour it in a glass for you) or take it to go. Or both! We sat at the bar and enjoyed talking with the servers who had some great recommendations for food in town. The service is awesome - they even remembered our names when we came back the second time! If you're looking for a fun spot to have a drink, you will definitely find something you will like here. read more

Idaho Pour Authority - Everyone loves the Pour Authority! - Cheese Shops Near Me - Sandpoint, Idaho

Last night was my first time, at Idaho Pour Authority and it did not disappoint! I loved the lively vibe inside of this craft beer mecca. I don't remember the name of the guy singing Live music here, but he did a lot of Ray LaMontane covers and music of the like, genre and he was incredible! His voice was haunting and addicting, while his guitar playing, was spot on. I loved it! The selection of local, craft, beers here, is second to none and my selection of the Lily, Double IPA, couldn't have pleased me more. The staff was friendly, helpful and super efficient. I will be back for another visit, the next time I am in Sandpoint! read more

Idaho Pour Authority - The Lily, Double IPA! This beer was perfection...smooth, floral, hoppy but not bitter. - Cheese Shops Near Me - Sandpoint, Idaho

Great spot to get a brew on tap (big selection on tap) or an even bigger selection of bottles and cans. Drink a bottle from the cooler there or take ones to go. read more

Awesome selection of beers, delicious cheeses (would 10/10 recommend Litehouse's bleu cheese), and salami to make yourself a platter. We were able to have the Deschutes Barrel Aged Sour and it was amazing - would highly recommend trying it soon as it was only brewed in small quantities. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend visiting this spot! read more

Visited Idaho Pour Authority over my wife and I's anniversary weekend. This place is AWESOME! Great tap selection, endless amount of craft beer to choose from. So much, that I had a hard time deciding which beer would be coming home with us! Lol. Felt like we were kids in a candy store. We'll definitely be back again! This is a must-visit while in Sandpoint. Cheers! read more

Me and an Army buddy visited this place on Friday July 2nd. We were wearing Military Police hats, and the "Woke" staff denied us service. It was not busy and we were sober older men. read more

Impossible to not 5star the beer selection. Here's my one star penalty. Powerful caustic smell on arriving from 'ber keepers friend' cleaning product - I always associate this with dive bars. Bought 6lbs of beer to go and it was bagged in a brown tissue sack that would not contain my weekly Viagra prescription. Bag ripped and dumped before I made it out the door. read more

Fabulous vibes. Attention to detail in every aspect- especially the owners attire. Great banter.

What an amazing place! I wish we had something like this out west. I wish I owned a place like this:). Amazing selection of beers and ciders, chocolates and cheeses to buy and take home or have a sit and sample some of the brews available. Comfortable seating, easy place to hold a conversation, great beer selection advice based on your tastes, and super fun and friendly staff! Just love this place and the concept! Yummy!!! read more

These people know how to treat you right! Amazing customer service. Even more amazing beer! Scored Melvin 2 X 4 on draft and in cans to go. Always a fresh, ever changing selection of craft beer on draft, 5 doors of cooler and an extensive shelf selection to choose from "for here or to go". No bottle/cork charge! Hand cut charcuterie and cheese boards to keep your tummy ready for another. No kids allowed, but bring the dog! Cheers to you John, Vicky, Jake & Sam. See you next time we are in town! read more

New owners brought new rules. Used to love bringing the dog with us to hangout but now dogs are only allowed out front. Our dog used to be more of a regular than half the people that come in here. Gotta say, real disappointed. read more

One of my favorite places in Sandpoint. Great concept. Lots of beer choices - drink there or get it to go.

Favorite after work gathering spot. They literally have 100s of beer choices in the cooler and a rotating tap selection second to none. Friendly service and casual inviting atmosphere. read more

One of my favorite places in Sandpoint, always a great, fun atmosphere and really uber-friendly people - it doesn't even matter if you don't know anyone when you walk in the door, when you leave you'll likely have some new friends. The selection of beers available, both on tap and in bottles, is almost overwhelming - if you can't find a beer (or a lot of them) that you like here, then there just must be something wrong with you, LOL! There's always something new to try, the staff are super-knowledgeable and happy to share what they know, and I love that you can buy just a single bottle of any of their beers to take home, rather than winding up with a 6-pack or more of a beer in your fridge that you're not wild about. IPA is a great place to get together with friends, enjoy a cold beer (and maybe take some home) and some live music......I highly recommend it to anyone. read more

This is the best bottle shop I've been too. 100s of beers and a beer bar to try your favorite pint. Owners are fabulous and know there beer. Gotta stop here! read more

Great pour house. 12 taps and innumerable bottles and great cheese selection. The waitress knew all about the beer, and was able to help us make a selection. She gave us multiple ideas, free tasters, and then effectively kept the frothy pints coming. They are also dog friendly! There were multiple chill pooches while we were there. We will be returning with our pooches in toe. read more

Sat at the counter and had good beers and good conversations with the Bartenders. Nice atmosphere, great selection. Liked the local vibe.

This is my home away from home. Some days it's my home and my actual home is my home away from home. With a beer selection that surpasses anything I've seen in Oregon--not to mention the glorious array of cheeses!--IPA is the best place to purchase beer, drink beer or gaze longingly at future beers. In addition to a diverse product, staff is charming and familial, making departure, that of extracting myself from conversation or simply a warm chair, a daily challenge. This is the best place in town, bar none. read more

I would have given this fine establishment a 5 star rating - our server was knowledgeable, kind and friendly. The crowd was fun and personable! I didn't give it 5 stars because they never got rid of the ugly florescent lighting panels on the ceiling. Please make the ambiance better! read more

I don't have a lot to add to the previous comments. Originally went there because of the clever name; found it to be a welcoming place, with quite a large and diverse crowd. Vast selection of beers and ales, good service, and friendly folks. They have live music on a regular basis, and the place gets crowded. Go early and stay late, you won't regret it. read more

Very impressed with beer selection. Nice, clean, relaxed environment. Thumbs up!!! Keep up the good work.

We stopped in for a beer before dinner while celebrating my dad's 80th birthday (he's a very young 80). The atmosphere was wonderful - much to look at, live local music, and the lighting was very inviting! It had such a great "everyone is here drinking together" vibe! The service was excellent, the cheese was wonderful, and the beer also lovely. We were all thrilled with our stop in the Idaho Pour Authority! read more

This place had great service and the best variety and selection of beer on Sandpoint! The owner was super nice and helpful.

My favorite beer bar in Sandpoint. Excellent selection of draft and bottles for there or to go!

I gave it 3 stars as it has a good beer selection to purchase and take home. The on tap selection is rather limited (2 stars on that) and I would have like to seen more than one IPA. But I'm sure they are aiming at what their local audience wants. read more

In search of a place to stop in and have a drink with some friends while walking around town, we found this place. We were pleasantly surprised to find all of the beer listed on the chalkboard was local or from breweries around the Pacific Northwest. IPA offers the widest selection of beer in town, complete with several taps and plenty of bottled beer too. Great atmosphere as well. Although I don't have much knowledge about beer myself this place inspired me to learn more about different kinds and how they are brewed. The bartender John was helpful in recommending beer and gave us each a few samples to try. I'll definitely be back, for research purposes of course read more
