It then took another 10 minutes for my husband to get his drink. When we were served our nachos we both failed to find much ground beef or beans on the plate with a sparse amount of melted cheese. We waited for our server to return and finally had to chase down the manager to have him address our concerns and promptly had our meal remade. Typical Mexican /American restaurant with large portions. If they serve you your plate with cheddar cheese and/or sour cream, it's not authentic Mexican food regardless if they say its authentic. I asked for hotter salsa and was rewarded with a bowl that had a nice bite to it. It was a little warm but not terribly hot. (I like my stuff really hot, like on the 50k Scoville scale level.). So, for timid hot sauce eaters, this may be beyond your comfort level. Suck on a lime while eating this salsa. Would I make this a destination place to go to? No. If passing through the town and had to have Mexican? Maybe.
